    Tostada De Ceviche - allegedly
    Nina R.

I love ceviche, so when someone tells me that a place has delicious ceviche, I'm in! So when we popped in for ceviche and were served ... this, we could not have been more disappointed. This is salad with a few pieces of fish. It is NOT ceviche. Also, it wasn't very good. Lacked flavor and lacking in the citrusy taste that ceviche is known for. Meh. Ambiance is virtually nonexistent (it looks like a diner), and service is fine (nothing special). I wouldn't return.

Came on a Sunday morning 9 am, perfect time. There were only about 4 other tables occupied. Later it started filling up. Seat yourself. Friendly service.Had the pancakes and menudo, both great! Will definitely be back!

Food is delicious, very well served. Not your typical no seasoned food elsewhere but Sazón Mexicano fr. Friendly atmosphere. Didn't struggle to find a parking spot.

    Plato Bahia

Been coming here for years with my family. We always go for breakfast and I used to always eat the chorizo and eggs when I was younger but now I usually get the huevos bajia which is pretty good. This time I tried the Plato Bahia and was pretty good too.

Great place for menudo, Saturday & Sunday. Great place after church, for menudo con amor. Mexican place authentic with nice service.

Food was delicious. Service was friendly. We felt like we had crashed the Sunday regulars though. The atmosphere was very community-like and families. It felt like each group were sitting at their regular table. It was packed when we arrived. There was one table available and we were happy to get it. Soccer (Netherlands vs Germany) was on the TV above the bar. Everything we ordered had nice flavor. It was fresh and piping hot. The margarita was the best I've had in a long time. I'm not a huge fan of them, but when in Rome. It wasn't too sweet or too strong. The ingredients were very well balanced. When we left out yesterday, we didn't know where the afternoon was going to take us. We're psyched Bahia wound up on our path.

Great breakfast, nice people and good service. The Bahia Huevos were exactly what I was looking for.

Freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee, eggs and hash browns and a side of Chile verde simmered pork!!

Good micheladas, but horrible food. It's a place where you go for one chelada and then go eat somewhere else.

Our table was away from any cars so no car smell. They brought a bowl of water for the dog as soon as we were seated. Nice! Three of us shared the chicken fajita omelet ($20) and avocado toast ($14). The omelet was absolutely delicious! The omelet came with a side of macadamia pancakes. Two pancakes, stuffed with macadamia nuts and topped with bananas, whipped cream, and more macadamia nuts - one of the best pancakes I've had in a very long time and it was just a side dish for the terrific omelette. We got the avocado toast with a smoked salmon. (additional $7). Also excellent and that came with curly fries on the side, which were also extremely well done. Excellent service (thank you, Harriet), terrific food at a fair price, and delightful ambience on the patio. Terrific place for Sunday brunch.

When the food came out she approached from behind and said "here" slapping the plates down, never asking if we needed anything or paying attention to my daughter trying to ask for a refill. One of the cooks who was attempting to eat his lunch noticed the interaction and came over to refill her drink. The food was just ok, but the avocado toast which my daughter gets at most restaurants was 13.99 for 1 slice of toast and mashed avocado. It is definitely not what you typically get at a cafe. Once we needed the bill the waitress came by and dropped it off then disappeared again. I had to find a different waitress to ring us up. Would not recommend. Worst service I have had in the area to date.

I wasn't too hungry so Martin just ordered what he wanted. He ordered the cowboy burger combo with fries and a soda. The burger I had a small portion was okay, it was not bad, fries cooked well and tasty. The ambiance was nice, lots of people, service was friendly and relatively nice. The ambiance of the beach nearby is pleasant. A lot of the menu items are found through scanning a QR code in your phone to prevent users from looking at a paper menu. Overall a solid place to eat when hungry.

Waitresses try their best but seem stretched too thin to be very attentive. You are made to use Cakes online ordering and wait list program which is less than ideal because of their slow WiFi. While waiting for a table you are updated on your place in line. On our last visit we waited as next to be seated for 20 minutes as multiple large parties showed up late and were seated immediately. We were told they were friends of the owner and there's nothing they could do but the staff hates it- for what that's worth. Today my Avocado toast left much to be desired. Sourdough tastes like dry thin sliced white bread. Small amount of smashed Avocado; not enough to cover the bread topped with less than fresh pico da gallo, arugula a balsamic drizzle and 3 slices of tomato that were marinated in Italian dressing. All things I like but the combination was not good. BLTA used the same disappointing bread, flaccid under cooked bacon a tiny amount of pesto aioli and more avocado then there was on the avocado toast. Kids mini pancakes were good but chocolate chips are $1 up charge. I will say yesterday's eggs Benedict was good- hollandaise is excellent. Breakfast potatoes were a bit undercooked. Bloody Mary was a bit weak in my opinion. After all of that- I got a look at the receipt and there is a 2% BOH RevShare added to the bill. My best guess is this is fee to help pay the kitchen- To be honest we went here because it was a short walk from the Hilton. After the poor service, bad quality and hidden fees- we would be better off eating on the resort.
