Usually love this place, but today not so much. It was busy and only the younger girl was working hard. We weren't offered chips, when we asked we were told we would get them later. They came with food. Chicken was burnt. Salsa bar was a mess. Tables dirty, and when I asked for ice tea, as the canister was out. Was told repeatedly, we will take care of it then watched the older women ignore us . After the 6th time was told " we are out" it was obvious they had no intention of making more ice tea. Did get my money back for drink. I left a good tip when we paid. Wished i could get it back. read more

This was my first visit to Baja Fresh in a long time. I had a coupon for a free taco - now granted the coupon said valid for chicken or carnitas only, but I don't eat meat. I went in and asked if I could redeem the coupon but get the taco with no meat. I figure they would be happy to save a little bit of meat and just give me a veggie taco. They woman checked with the manager and came back telling me no, they wouldn't do it. Sorry Baja Fresh, you lost my business. read more

Not sure why the odd reviews here. This place is good becauae of the fresh ingredients and the awesome salsa bar....we make our own fresh salsa at home, but really appreciate that baja does a consistent job at making fresh salsas and you get to chose from 6! (not just one) and get as much as you want. Truly a treat for the senses. Enjoy. read more

I wish that there was a way to leave 100 stars! My husband and I are fans of Baja and we visit there regularly, to say that our recent experience with them was above and BEYOND is an understatment! We visited the the day before yesterday for dinner and it was great as always. We left and made our way home, my husband noticed while getting ready for work that he forgot his wallet. Knowing this was the only place we had been prior and called and checked, they said they didn't find it. Panic set in. So we called and went through what you have to when you lose a wallet, we had given up hope of finding it! Then two days later well into the evening a knock on the door, a man we recognize Gilberto the Baja store manager. He said that they had a miscommunication and that he had my husbands wallet! The RELIEF!! He apologized and we weren't upset but sincerely grateful, we couldn't believe that he took the time out of his busy schedule and went out of his way to drive to our home at 7 pm to tell us that he found the wallet! WOW! Talk about customer service! We then went down there to get dinner and pick up my husbands wallet. We arrived and he met us and kept apologizing, which wasn't needed we were so grateful to have found it! We ordered food sat down he came back to our table and apologized again, and gave us free meals for next time. ABOVE AND BEYOND!! I could rant forever.. the staff is always exceptional and never have had a bad experience! This put the icing on the cake! I hope that Baja Corporate sees this and is an example of the top-notch service that this amazing man and his team give! We are customers for life! Well haven't been here for awhile. Stopped in while shopping with my daughter-in-law. Ordered the Baja chicken burrito. It was not good. Too much pico in it and not enough chicken. I counted maybe 10 small pieces of chicken. The water was dripping out of the burrito and it became so soggy I could not finish it. I remember this burrito being very good and the guac was plenty. But not now. Don't know if this location changed hands or what, but they remodeled and the food remodeled as well. I will not be back to waste another $18.75 for lunch. So so disappointed. read more

I had a fajita platter. It looked great and there were all the things you'd expect to have on a fajita. But there was no flavor. Completely devoid of that delicious fajita taste I was expecting. The black beans and rice were also very blah. I'd heard good things about the salsa bar, so was looking forward to the pico de gallo and the mango salsa. What a disappointment! The Mango salsa tasted like fruit cocktail. The pico de gallo was not only bland but it also had a chemical taste, like it had been sitting in a plastIc container for a long time. I hate that I'm always rushed here, no matter how early I show up. Tonight- 75 minutes before closing. I was reminded that they were closing at 9 when I ordered. When my food arrived (half an hour later how hard is it to make tacos?), I was again reminded that they were closing "soon". And then the sweeping under my feet began. Ordered 3 entrees for Take Out. One of them was a Tostada, no meat, no sour cream. When we got home my daughter discovered that there were no beans, so it was basically a salad for $5.49. When I called the location, and explained what happened, the first person hung up on me. I called back and asked for the manager, who told me "what do you want me to do?" I said reimbursing the price of that entree seemed appropriate. She took my name and said she would pass it on to the manager. Needless to say I do not have a positive feeling about returning to this location to even request a refund. I took the time to complete a corporate feedback form, providing the above details and expressing my displeasure, No surprise, I have not received any communication from them, That's does it for this chain, Ill take my chances with Chipotle. read more
