I have complained on several occassions on the misrepresentation of the $2 off if you take the survey on next visit. I atttempted to take the survey and it is not available. I have complained to the manger at your store stating this is false advertisement and he had no answer for me. I asked for the $2 off and he referred me to the owner. In fact, the cashier did not even know what I was talking about. Obivisoulsy, no one reads what the receipt states. Until this is removed I am requesting to receive the $2 off since it is printed on the receipt. I have been to your restuarant several times and you have not made good on applying the $2 off. You are being dishonest and not honoring what is in print. It's false advertisement!!! read more

As far as fast food goes, this place has the option to be healthy if you want it. The beans are whole, not refried with lard, the chicken and other items don't seem too greasy, and if they are serious about no freezers, additives and all of that, that's whole food turned into fast food, and I haven't seen many options for that in this fast-food, convenience pumped country. While I don't think their food is amazing, I picked up a party pack of fajitas for a work event and they went over well. There is TONS of food, sauces and condiments-they really give you all the fixings. You can mix between flour/corn tortillas, black/pinto beans and it feeds about 10 people for $69.99. To get individual fajitas without the salad, or chips and salsa it would be more than that, so it's really a deal. The chicken and fixings are actually decent quality for fast food, and it's a cheap way to feed a crowd. Both times I've picked this up for the office, the ease of ordering over the phone was appreciated, and the service has been stellar. The food was fairly tasty compared to other quick catering options, and all the guys gobbled it up happily. I was able to eat really healthy by skipping the tortillas and just having chicken with salsa, salad, beans and a few chips with guacamole and salsa. The party pack is really a people pleaser, and they happily accomodated my 'onions on the side' request for an allergic co-worker. And as their name states, it really did taste fresh. read more

We were having a small event at work, and while we typically use some standard catering vendors, I wanted to do something different. I had heard that Baja Fresh delivered, so we went for it. I would highly suggest them for any office events you have or small catering opportunities. The food was great, came hot, and everyone loved the fajita options, along with the salads, chips, guac, and salsa. It was a definite hit and a nice change from the boring package sandwich, chips, and bad cookie most of my co-workers have to enjoy. The service at this location was also great. read more

Yay for all the free chips! Chips offered while I wait, chips offered with my to go bag. Unfortunately the chips have a slightly off after taste, but can't complain because they're free. The salsa bar was clean and well-stocked with at least half a dozen varieties including two hot salsas, a green salsa, mango salsa, pico de gallo, cilantro, jalapenos, and lime slices. Chicken burrito could have been better. Not the big fat burrito I was hoping for (i.e. Chipotle sized): light on the fillings except for too much pico de gallo and lukewarm at best. However, the nachos were impressive. A small order of carnitas nachos came heaping with pork, cheese, guacamole, and sour cream...filled up the plate! This location isn't as good as the Baja Fresh I last visited in Long Beach, CA, but decent option for a quick meal under $10. read more

Vegan Alert***** With the E.Coli outbreak at Chipotle, I've been grabbing a burrito here! When I wasn't vegan I always got the Burrito Ultimo. I love the grilled veggies in it! It's like a fajita burrito! When I told them I didn't want any dairy or meat in it and asked to add beans and avocado they were super nice and accommodating! No judgy looks! And it's less than six bucks! Their beans have no lard and their chips are fried in canola oil! Yippee! Chipotle used to have bacon fat in their beans! I really like that they give you chips while you wait and more chips in your "take out" bag! Chipotle charges for chips! If you order a side of beans, be sure and tell them not to put cheese on top! This applies only to this Baja Fresh. Their fajitas are off the hook and quantity was generous. Baja Fresh locations are always an ok meal, but for some reason this location goes the extra mile. All the ingredients were fresh. I've had some "not so fresh" ingredients at other locations (Gresham). The food here was very enjoyable and you can tell they are into you having an enjoyable meal. I think I'm done with "Blah Blah" Fresh. I get what they're trying to do and I can see why so many people go there but honestly the food is so salty I just can't handle it. Instead of a salsa bar they should put in a walk-in clinic with an EKG monitor and a defibrillator because someone is going to have a heart attack in this place. I'm giving two stars because they used to be great & hope they will again. I have supported them throughout COVID & they kept many of their employees. The last couple of months though, they have new inexperienced cooks and my last SIX orders have been wrong. Every single item... wrong. I only order two items and have minimal ingredients, still they leave something out of don't remove what was requested. Not sure if the regular manager is there anymore, haven't seen him in there for a while but hope he gets on top of this, I can't go back until I hear they do. Ordered catered Fajitas for office. Had 10 people (mostly men). Service was great when ordering and delivery. They were on time and everything was fresh and still warm. Quantities for most things were great, but I chose two meats and we ran out of both. Also, small container of guacamole and pico for 10 people not even close to enough. Okay, I do enjoy the food at Baja Fresh. It is better than the other options for fast mexicanish food in the area. My gripe with this place is the parking and lunch crowding. There is only one real entry and exit into the shopping complex where this restaurant is located and at least 5 places to eat. I try and walk when eating at these places, but those times when driving is required it is always a hastle trying to leave with so many people navigating the parking lot. So, say what you will about me, but I love the Pork Carnitas Nachos from Baja Fresh! As of late, I have stayed away, not because they're not yummy, but because I was sick & tired of being burned by the incompetent staff that was literally screwing up my order EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!! The two stores on Barbur are the culprits, not this store, this store has restored my faith that people do listen to your order, & can perform the task of getting your food to you the way you order it. I have gone here a few times now...... I didn't want to jump the gun & give them a good review until I saw some consistency. Seriously though, how hard is it to make Nachos with nothing on them but the meat & cheese? I ask for no beans, pico, sour cream, & guacamole on the side. If I didn't they would be soggy by the time I got them home. Sheesh, it's not rocket science!! They have done it every time! Maybe the employees from the other stores should spend some time there for some remedial training! Oh my goodness! I saw a poster in the store for the new Primo BBQ Chicken Salad. The poster made it look so appealing! As I was waiting for my order, I knew the real thing would probably be a little bit of a letdown. But guess what! My salad look exactly like the one on the poster! It had tons of huge chunks of avocado and tomato and the chicken was very moist and drizzled with the barbecue sauce. This Baja Fresh completely exceeds my expectations. When I think Mexican food I immediately jump to Baja. I visited a different Baja Fresh recently and it wasn't the same. It felt like it was ran completely different. I've come to this specific Baja Fresh enough to where the employees know me by my name, not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. Haha! With that said the customer service is amazing, it seems like they enjoy to work there! Lots of smiling faces, fresh food and cleanliness puts it over the top for me! The staff are efficient and friendly, there is a good range of items to select from, the menu is reasonable priced and orders are prepared quickly. Baja Fresh is great! The food is fast and fresh and there is a variety of salsas to choose from. My favorite dish is the chicken fajitas with the flour tortillas. I bought a deal through www.sharingspree.com for my husband and I to have a dinner together. The deal was $7.50 for $15 to spend at Baja Fresh. This is my Baja location of choice! The manager, Israel, is super! He's very friendly and he runs a tight (but friendly) ship! The staff are cheerful and this location is one of the best run Baja locations--it's clean and the salsa bar is well maintained. The crew always get my order right and they seem happy to be at work! This location offers up friendly, professional service and great food, too! I go out of my way to visit this location; in fact, it's the only Baja that I visit now. Just like every Baja Fresh Ive been too, this one is just closest to my home. When Im in the mood for some fresh pico de gallo, I will hit this place up. I usually stick with the taco combo (2 tacos, beans, rice) and its enough to keep me full for the rest of the night. This is as close as I will get to fast food, and its really fast (5 min wait), but it tastes like something you would get at a traditional sit down restaurant. read more

Rarely would I Yelp about a chain restaurant, especially not fast food'ish...but this was a great experience. They guy at the counter, probably a manager, was unbelievably accomodating. Nothing extra or anything, pretty simple order, but so vibrant and energetic. The place is spotless and the food is great. I wish I lived around here, as we spent 12 dollars and got a 40 experience.
