    C4) SSBL (Pandan Grass Jelly)

This summer heat has been brutal to say the least but what better way to cool off than with some chè. I got the pandan grass jelly which was milky, creamy, filled with big pieces of grass/pandan jelly and not too overly sweet. So fire! They also are always having bogo deals which contribute to the long lines (which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Honestly the only thing keeping it from 5 stars is that they're ALWAYS sold out of their baked items (most notably the palm sugar) The last 3 times I've tried to get the palm sugar they were sold out.

Possibly matcha drink but I can't remember.

I was flagged by Yelp about posting to the wrong business. So sorry! Gomenasai! This place is great. I need to give it props. We went after a delicious Taiwanese dinner. We had delicious dessert and drinks at Bake & Che. When I order with my in laws who like to eat, we order variety! Multiple drinks, desserts and bags of ice! They're generous with ice that you add to your drinks. I really liked my pandan pudding that actually tastes like natural pandan. I hate fake coconut, banana, grapes and, now, pandan. When you have the natural version, you only want the natural version. They also give you sugar syrup to dress as much as you like. Worth trying. Get there before it gets too busy later at night.

Stopped by Bake & Che today to take advantage of their promo and ordered the House Special along with the Chè Thái. Both were delicious! The House Special had a great mix of flavors and was fresh and satisfying. The Chè Thái was the perfect way to cool off on a warm day--refreshing, lightly sweet, and packed with a variety of tasty ingredients that made every bite fun. The staff were friendly, and the promo made the visit an even better value. If you're looking for a refreshing Vietnamese dessert or want to try something different, I'd definitely recommend stopping by. Looking forward to coming back to see what else is on the menu!

I found this on Yelp because I was craving Filipino halo-halo, but ended up with Bake and Che's house special. I ordered it 50% sweetened (honestly, I should have ordered 100%). It was very good. Their refreshing dessert was served with small ice and not crushed. It had beans, durian and jelly (yum!). It was very filling! The place is very cute! They have tables that can accommodate big groups and service was quick. I also bought packaged roasted macadamia nuts in their shells that were delicious. It's a lot of work to open the nuts so that will be my first and last purchase. I can see this place being busy and just a fun place to hang out with their refreshing dessert.

This place had a huge line! I ended up placing the order online and waited for 10 min which I thought was way faster than waiting in line. I ordered: 1x C3) BM (Three Color) Less Ice Less Sweet I loved that the ice came on the side and I was able to adjust it. I adjusted the sweetness too.

Sampler cakes - palm sugar, cassava, pandan, taro & mung bean

I went to Bake & Che for the first time yesterday and loved it so much that I came back again today. Both visits, I ordered the Avocado Che for myself and the Thai Che for my boyfriend. Yesterday, I wanted to try some of their baked goods, including the palm sugar cake and cassava cake, but they were already sold out. I'd recommend coming earlier if you want the baked goods, as I stopped by around 7 PM on a Saturday and most of them were gone. Today, I came earlier and was able to grab their sampler, which included palm sugar, cassava, mung bean, taro, and pandan cakes. Everything was delicious and not overly sweet. My favorites were the palm sugar and pandan cakes. The Avocado Che was excellent. The avocado was incredibly creamy, and all of the jellies inside were delicious. I thought it would come topped with the green jelly pudding shown on the menu, which I assumed was pandan pudding, but mine didn't include it. I still really enjoyed it. The milk they use is so flavorful, and the drink itself isn't overly sweet. I also tried a few bites of my boyfriend's Thai Che. It was refreshing and tasty as well. One thing I liked is that you can customize the sweetness level and choose whether you want the ice mixed in or served on the side. The only downside is the size. The cups are smaller than what I've seen at other places. I believe they're around 12 ounces. The Thai Che was $7 and the Avocado Che was $8, which is typically what I pay elsewhere for a 16 ounce drink. I'd definitely keep coming back for the Avocado Che and the palm sugar and pandan cakes.

Pretty good che (Vietnamese dessert). You can adjust the sweetness. I tried it with no sugar as it's already sweet to begin with and it's not too sweet (perfect). Ice on the side to make it nice and cold when you're ready to enjoy. The house special had durian in it, which I liked and small pieces of jackfruit.

I come here for one thing only... the pandan coconut jellies. They are sooo good and only about $1.75 each. The sweetness level is not overbearing at all. I love that they each come in their own disposable container so it's perfect to buy a bunch and share! 10/10!!

Brought my grandma and I'm happy to say this spot has her approval haha that in itself should mean this review actually has 6 stars cause grandma be picky. We both got the C1 dessert, and I also got an order of the pandan durian layer cake and an order of the taro cake. The pandan durian layer cake wasn't overwhelmingly pungent with durian, it almost felt like they just brushed the cake with some durian if that makes any sense. The taro cake was delicious! I think they may have warmed it up a little and I enjoyed the bits of taro in it. We came in a Saturday afternoon and was able to park in the lot as well as walk right up to the register. I think 5-10 mins later there was a line almost to the door and all the tables were taken up. My grandma has already decided that we're coming back hahah so I guess I'll have an excuse to try something else other than the C1 dessert!

Palm Sugar Cakes (Box of 20)
    Angela L.

The palm sugar cakes were perfectly sweet and have a honeycomb mochi like texture. An order of 20 was packaged in a nice box perfect for my work gathering. Each piece generously sized. Bright and inviting space.

Service was super quick and easy to order online. If you are ordering online, they package everything to go. Ordered the flandan cheesecake (Pandan) and green thai soy pudding with less sugar. The pandan flandan cheesecake was not too sweet and had a slightly caramel aftertaste to it. It is more of a flan-like cake than cheesecake. As most of their baked goods do not require advance preparation, orders are prepared super quickly. I would not hesitate to ask for the status of your order as it may already be ready.

Does the special house milk contain dairy?

    pretty sure it is

Just curious. How many pieces of jackfruit in the Che Thai? I got 1 in my cup yesterday.

I felt like very little of anything.

Will I be able to walk in next Thursday afternoon and order a 30-piece cake box on the spot or do I need to order ahead?

I would order ahead as some items do sell out

Is Rosemad Bake & Che open already? It says can not accept orders online. Please let me know!

There open but their not taking online orders I think.

I had their Starry Night blueberry series drink recently, and it was so tangy, sweet, and refreshing in the summer heat. I loved it, and I really home they keep it on the menu. I am also a huge fan of their signature blend. I LOVE strong, earthy teas like oolong tea, ember tea, hojicha, etc. and their signature blend if one of the most unique earthy blends I've ever had. It's earthy but still has a unique sweetness, almost like a mocha or a coffee with a hint of cocoa. It pairs super well with their coffee jelly. OneTea's ember tea is also the absolute best in the area (and trust me, I've tried them all and keep a list...). Crazy strong, so strong I get it at 75% sweetness level instead of my 50% sweetness that I get everywhere else, and it pairs wonderfully with the golden boba, the sweetness of which balances out the earthiness of the tea. The guava slush was pretty sweet, syrupy, bright, and fruity. The milk teas were sweet, smooth, and caramelly. I added a creamy whipped Hokkaido top to the taro milk tea but wasn't getting much taro flaves from the milk tea itself tho. The drinks were all ok but nothing too special so for me this place eh. Guava slush $5.90 Taro milk tea +0.90 milk cream $5.55 Hokkaido milk tea $6.25
