I want to start by saying the customer service from Mama Dee was SPECTACULAR. I was flooded with creative bagel and cream cheese options upon entry and I let her know it was my first time there. She suggested her favorite bagels, explained the breakfast sandwich, and she didn't rush me to order. I landed with the bagel breakfast sandwich! My custom sandwich was a lightly toasted Rosemary & Salt bagel, bacon, 1 egg, cheddar, tomato and their new dirty sauce which is house made mayo with everything bagel seasoning! The best savory bite to start my morning! I also ordered a plain bagel with plain cream cheese. That's never the wrong choice.

Got a bag full of joy this morning, and I just wanted to reiterate how truly amazing all of the flavors of their bagels are. Sure, I've not had every single one, but I have had four or five different ones. First time having one of their "spooky" bagels, and no, it is not black from food coloring, it is that way from activated charcoal powder. It was just a fun bite. Also, the employees are always cheerful and smiling and sweet, and it's always a pleasure to go in there and get a double dose of happiness.

Cute bagel spot and when you walk in the smell of Fresh bagels takes over. This place has some seating indoors and outdoor. I got a sesame bagel not toasted with egg and cheese. To me this was hard for me to eat because mine was a bit hard. It was a bit too much work to put in just to enjoy a bagel. My friend got an everything bagel with scallion cream cheese and than my other friend got one of the other bagels with egg and cheese. But neither of them had issues eating theirs. I would come back if I am ever in St.Louis again and try a different type of bagel. These are sort of on the flatter side as they are baked and boiled so they do not seem fluffy like NYC bagels. The service was good and did not need to wait long.

Okay, let me just say I'm from the east coast and I truly believe that NY has the most superior bagels... but with that being said, I did enjoy my pepper cheddar bagel with egg and cheese. My bagel seemed to have a bit more rise/fluffiness than my friends' bagels which were the everything with scallion cream cheese and an egg and cheese on sesame. You can see pictures below. They have a nice variety of bagels and schmears. I was also intrigued with getting the rosemary and sea salt! Staff were very lovely. Great outdoor sitting!

I finally stumbled upon this place by accident and rest assured, it was everything I had hoped for. Being as though NY style bagels are on the rise in this area, I was eager to get my hands on one. I came here and got the bacon, egg, and cheese with a small coffee (Peruvian blend since they were out of the house). Ordering was simple and while they were a little busy, my order came out in no time. My first bite was heaven. I got it toasted on the everything bagel and it was crunchy with the perfect amount of char and spices. Now as for the coffee, unfortunately, it left little to be desired. The sandwich was a good size, so rest assured I took my time and savored every bite! I'm so happy I finally found this place and can't wait to come back to try more things!

I was so glad to finally try baked and boiled bagels! The bagels are delicious and I ordered an everything bagel with cream cheese. It was loaded with the garlic, onion, season seeds, and poppy seed toppings and full of flavor! The texture is very chewy so I wouldn't get it toasted next time. They only have drip coffee, but it's easy to walk and stop by a nearby coffeeshop if you're craving a latte. There is much seating either, so my boyfriend and I got lucky finding a table for two.

Wow. This is a great gem in Soulard. It is located not far from Soulard Market. I was able to get a place to park on the street. It's in a super cool neighborhood, so there's a lot to take in. There is a single step before you enter, and it isn't very steep. Upon entering, I was greeted warmly. The store is small, with beautiful wooden display cases, and tables to enjoy your bagel and coffee. It has a charming black and white decor. Speaking of coffee, they have oat mylk! Also vegan cream cheese. Yaaaaay! The cashier was super sweet and knowledgeable. After I told her it was my first visit, she said "When you come once, you'll be back tomorrow ". She was so right! I got an everything bagel with veggie cream cheese. The aroma of the everything bagel was positively intoxicating, and I could hardly wait to dig in. As predicted, I am planning my next visit to try one of the sandwiches!

What an amazing, charming bagel shop. You can see and smell how fresh everything was. With a cute, quirky? Menu style, they have the best varieties of bagels and schmears. The cashier was so pleasant and nice. I favorited this place as soon as I walked out the door! I will be back!

Customer service was excellent. I ordered the everything bagel with scallion cream cheese and then realized they had a pepper cheddar bagel but it was too late to switch my order, they came up to me later and brought me one to take home to try!

Stopped in for a quiet bite at Baked & Boiled last weekend. Ordered an everything bagel with seasonal sweet heat pepper cream cheese and added tomatoes and cucumber. The spot is cute and quaint. The line was out the door when we arrived, but it moved quickly. Seating is limited, so taking it to go may be the best bet. I really enjoyed my bagel. The sweet heat cream cheese was so well-balanced and a unique offering.

Such yummy bagels!! The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. The place gives homey southern cafe vibes. They have a book full of polaroids for canine visitors which is such a treat to look through. Highly recommend this cute bagel cafe for a quick bite or picking up a morning snack for the office.

Coming from someone who grew up on the East Coast and had frequent access to Montreal bagels, I'd say these bagels are decent. The shop offers a great variety of bagels and cream cheeses, and the service and location are both excellent. The bagels themselves are good, but there's room for refinement in the toppings. I ordered a bagel with cream cheese, tomato, capers, and onion, and the large chunks of onion really threw off the balance. If they used a mandoline to slice them thinly, it would elevate the overall experience and make the presentation and flavor feel more polished.

I feel like I'm still learning new things to love about this place. Despite their relative newness, I feel like Baked and Boiled is an integrated part of the community at this point. This trip I learned that the flour they used is locally milled in Illinois. How lovely! We stopped by for our customary bagels after church this Sunday and decided to take a new route; we had two of the bagel sandwiches! Mine had delicious pickled red onions and homemade pesto and my fiancé's had a really special 1000 Island sauce. He said he wishes he had gotten his on a Rye or Pumpernickel bagel, but it was still pretty good on the Pepper Cheddar. What we've learned is that they do their sauces WELL, a feat for a shop so specialized in something else.

I love supporting local businesses that share my values. I was admiring some of the stickers for sale at the front counter, and I was told that the owner makes them. There were some fun designs. The staff here was outstanding. 5/5 stars for customer service. I had misplaced my credit card and they reminded me I could do tap to pay from my IPhone. Problem solved. On this visit, I only ordered a cold brew coffee and it was a smooth, mellow blend. It was perfect. They made it exactly the way I ordered it. Every city I visit, I make it a mission to go doughnut hunting, but lately all I've been finding are oversized, over-decorated doughnuts that look amazing but lack flavor. Not Pharaoh's. These doughnuts are all about the taste. The rich, perfectly crafted yeast dough wraps your mouth with so much incredible flavor that I was literally salivating with every bite. They are light, fresh, airy, and absolutely unforgettable. This is what a real doughnut should taste like! And let's talk about the customer service! AJ was just as sweet as the treats they serve. She welcomed me with genuine kindness, asked where I was from, how long I'd be in St. Louis, and made me feel like more than just another customer. Then, just when I thought the experience couldn't get any better, I got back to my truck and discovered she had blessed me with three extra doughnuts to try! Now that's hospitality. Thank you, AJ, for making my first visit so memorable, and thank you, Pharaoh's Donuts, for reminding me what an authentic, delicious yeast doughnut is supposed to taste like. I'll definitely be back every time I'm in St. Louis. 5 out of 5 Stars! Highly recommended!
