Hands down the best bakery in Telluride! I showed up a little too late (around noon) to try their croissant donuts, but I was still able to snag a chorizo breakfast burrito and a turkey & green chili croissant. The breakfast burrito was solid - hearty and flavorful. I do wish there was some salsa to add on top, but it still hit the spot after a morning out. The turkey & green chili croissant, though, was absolutely out of this world. I've never had anything like it before - the buttery, flaky croissant with that savory filling was just perfect. Easily one of the best I've ever had, and I cannot wait to come back just for this again. If you're in Telluride, this bakery is a must-visit. HUGE donuts! About twice the size of what I'm used to. Their internet was out so it was cash only - thankfully my husband almost always has cash on hand when we're traveling. I'm kind of surprised there's not more places to get treats in Telluride so this was one of our only options. This is a great restaurant though because you can grab a bite to eat and dessert. however, we only had dessert. The desserts were OK. Everything was just a little dry. Maybe they were baked the day before? I think that's why the ratings aren't a little bit better. Baked in telluride was not quite what I'd hoped - but it's a great spot for quick food! My hope was it would be more like a local bakery with that kind of feel. They do have lots of pastries, mostly your general grocery store bakery type options - I saw donuts and Rice Krispies among brownies and croissants. Great grab and go section too which was ideal for me, as we were heading to the airport and time was a factor. I purchased some tasty banana bread for the flight too. We came to Baked twice during our stay in Telluride. Staff and service were a-ok. The donuts and sweets are really good. The donuts tasted good and went well with the milk we bought. There is indoor seating but we opted for the outdoor seating both times. There isn't much but it's perfect during a summer morning. Inside can be a bit busy with lines getting fairly long. Came here during a trip to Telluride and got the coffee cake tres leches and biscotti. The portion sizes here are enormous. I liked the flavor and texture of the cake very much. It didn't keep very well though. By day 2, the cake had disintegrated into the liquid. read more

They have a very robust bakery case with tons of fresh pastries but when it's out, it's out so make sure to get here early. they do have grab and go options available for burritos, bagels and quiches. This hidden gem of a coffee shop really needs an appropriate blast on Yelp! (The Yelp search tool for food and coffee missed this!!!) Anyway, we stumbled upon Baked in Telluride on a quest to find a cure for my caffeine withdrawals. What I initially thought was a cannabis shop (hehe) turned out to be a fabulous bakery! The food is fabulous and the coffee tasty (but not strong enough to cure my addiction). The price points are typical for Telluride. A 16oz coffee and slice of banana loaf ran just under $11. Non dairy milk options are available (Almond and Oat but no soy) for $1.50 additional. There is plenty of seating both indoor and on the patio for people and puppy alike. I did become a repeat offender to BIT as we also brought home some fresh Vienna Rolls and Blueberry Loaf. Baked's dining menu includes soups, pizza by the slice (portion size friendly), tacos, breakfast burritos and sammies. Reasonably priced compared to establishments along Colorado Ave (main strip). The only downside is the service. The staff are not quick, so prepare to wait a bit for any style coffee that isn't straight up drip. Wonderful food, the service is fast and kind, and they always know when your drink is low, the whole place is very welcoming, once you walk in the first thing you see is the giant cabinet of pastries, I got the peanut butter cookie, but the rest of the pastries are all good too. It's a "serve-yourself, go to the counter and pay and leave a tip on the screen" kinda place; the cashiers are always pleasant. There are always a lot of people moving through so things can get a little disheveled over by the cases of pastries: tissues strewn about, etc. While we've been coming here for nearly twenty years, I don't believe I've ever sat at one of their tables (inside or out), so I can't say anything about actually eating here. read more

If it feels like your food was made by some high school kid summering through Telluride, it probably was. This joint is super convenient and the baked goods are reliable and easy. If you order off the menu however, I wish you good luck, and before you sit at a table make sure you wipe it clean. We ordered the Chicken Echiladas which were as tasty as the oxygen they will sell you a few stores down and although I requested the bacon be left off the Turkey wrap they merely took it as a suggestion (and ignored it). Maybe the food just tastes different at such altitude but I suspect that was not the case ;) Again, this place is super convenient and sometimes the lines move fast enough where the two registers will keep things moving but perhaps it is unfair to compare it to the other places in Telluride. Bakery in telluride. The inside is a little industrial and in the evenings the baked goods do run out! But we went both in the evening for a quick dinner (meatball sub was HUGE and flavorful) and also went for breakfast. Lots of donuts and pastries and to go sandwiches. Our kids loved the option to stare in front of the donut case and choose their favorite. I had a chili cheese roll (basically a cheese bagel) and my husband had an apple fritter. All of the items were fresh and large. They were about $2.50-$3.50 each. You can also grab some ready-made breakfast sandwiches and there are about 8 tables outside you can snag to enjoy your quick bite. The market is just next door, so we grabbed our drinks there, but they sell a large selection of drinks as well.
