Alex in Telluride has a little of everything which can give you mixed results. We devoured a collection of baked goods some better than others. The crispy chocolate donut won the day - fortunately calories do not count in Telluride. The coffee was very average and the joint appeared to be understaffed. But the calories and sugar satisfied.

Good selection and pastries were tasty. I had an apple fritter and daughter tried the green chili roll. We also bought cookies that we ate later that were huge. Downside was the coffee - just plain bad! I had a mocha and ended up dumping it after 2 sips. Daughter had a diff latte and thought the same thing. We ended up walking over to coffee cart next to gondola and got coffee drinks there.

I'm kind of surprised there's not more places to get treats in Telluride so this was one of our only options. This is a great restaurant though because you can grab a bite to eat and dessert. however, we only had dessert. The desserts were OK. Everything was just a little dry. Maybe they were baked the day before? I think that's why the ratings aren't a little bit better. The ambience has a fun vibe and there's some really great local artwork if you're into the abstract.

We came to Baked twice during our stay in Telluride. Staff and service were a-ok. The donuts and sweets are really good. The donuts tasted good and went well with the milk we bought. There is indoor seating but we opted for the outdoor seating both times. There isn't much but it's perfect during a summer morning. Inside can be a bit busy with lines getting fairly long. Outside is busy as well but you can get lucky and have a slow morning. I'll be sure to be back when my family returns.

Great breakfast here two days in a row. Awesome breakfast sandwiches. Service is cheery and helpful. Seat yourself after ordering and they'll call your name or bring it to you. Typical sandwich shop atmosphere. They have all kinds of pizza slices and full pies. Right down the street from the Victorian Inn. 3 minute walk.

Welcome to Josh Eats Telluride! This morning, I went to Baked in Telluride, and got the Chorizo and Egg Burrito and the Chocolate Do-sant. The service was friendly, the ambiance had lots of paintings, and the food was delicious, with me crushing both of my items! Next up on Josh Eats Telluride, whatever I have for lunch!

Be prepared to wait a very long time to check out! They have a very robust bakery case with tons of fresh pastries but when it's out, it's out so make sure to get here early. they do have grab and go options available for burritos, bagels and quiches. They also have a full menu that you can order from. They are not too staffed so you will need to pass through the one cashier and the one barista if you want to order anything there.

This hidden gem of a coffee shop really needs an appropriate blast on Yelp! (The Yelp search tool for food and coffee missed this!!!) Anyway, we stumbled upon Baked in Telluride on a quest to find a cure for my caffeine withdrawals. What I initially thought was a cannabis shop (hehe) turned out to be a fabulous bakery! The food is fabulous and the coffee tasty (but not strong enough to cure my addiction). The price points are typical for Telluride. A 16oz coffee and slice of banana loaf ran just under $11. Non dairy milk options are available (Almond and Oat but no soy) for $1.50 additional. There is plenty of seating both indoor and on the patio for people and puppy alike. I did become a repeat offender to BIT as we also brought home some fresh Vienna Rolls and Blueberry Loaf. Baked's dining menu includes soups, pizza by the slice (portion size friendly), tacos, breakfast burritos and sammies. Reasonably priced compared to establishments along Colorado Ave (main strip). The only downside is the service. The staff are not quick, so prepare to wait a bit for any style coffee that isn't straight up drip. I had to remind the staff each time I ordered ....I'm not high maintenance, just a coffee and almond milk please......

Pretty awful! Donuts tasted day old and dry, cheese danish also dry and tasteless. Do not recommend this place whatsoever.

The outdoor patio is pet-friendly, so we were able to enjoy breakfast outside with our dog, Luna. We both had breakfast sandwiches, and they were cooked perfectly. The English muffin was especially good and really made the sandwich. Since we placed a to-go order, we didn't have much interaction with the staff, but everything was ready on time and the overall experience was smooth. We'd definitely recommend it for a quick, delicious breakfast in Telluride.

Some things I wish I had known before I came: -- There is no soup available on Sundays. -- Their breakfast menu is not available on Sundays, just their Sunday brunch, which was not explicit on their website. Ended up getting sunchokes with an over medium egg to go. There's no good place to stand as you wait for your order. Once I got my order I had to doubled back to ask for a napkins and eating utensils once I realized they were not automatically included. The food itself was delicious, and I appreciated the cooked greens that came with as well.

Great Breakfast Spot Before the Durango & Silverton Train Ride…read more After reading some of the mixed reviews, I wasn't sure what to expect, but fortunately my son and I had a great experience. The bagel shop is conveniently located just a 785 foot walk from the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad depot, making it an ideal stop before boarding the train. We arrived early in the morning, well before boarding time, so there was no crowd and service was quick and friendly. We both ordered the big breakfast bagel along with a beverage. The sandwich came loaded with egg, bacon, sausage, and cheese on our choice of bagel, and it was served promptly. A nice bonus was the 5% discount for paying with cash. Most importantly, the food was delicious. The bagels were fresh and flavorful, and in our opinion, far better than grabbing breakfast from the fast-food on the other side of the tracks. Some reviewers have commented on the prices, but given the location next to one of Durango's biggest tourist attractions, the pricing seemed reasonable to me. Convenience and location certainly add value here. If you're looking for a tasty, satisfying breakfast before enjoying a ride on the historic railroad, I would definitely recommend stopping by this bagel shop.
