The absolutely last place anyone should buy a car. I got it in writing when I bought a car from them that I would get maintenance. Now they say "too bad, that program has been discontinued." I see that Baker replied that they are committed to working with me in good faith. WRONG. They are not. He's just saying that to make them look good online. This might be more of an industry issue....but when I bought a car here, I wasn't given all information on a few different occasions. They knew I needed the vehicle and preyed on that. First, I was told by the sales rep that the tires were brand new on the used car we bought. I ran over a nail recently and took the car into discount tire for a quick patch. The discount tire employee explained that the tire had already been patched and that none of the tires were new, not even close. He taught me to ignore the "nice tread" and look at the numbers on the tire to identify the year manufactured. Second, I was very disappointed on how they financed the deal. I take ownership of my own ignorance in the process so lesson learned. However, it'd be nice if someone there had some integrity and explained the process before having you sign the dotted line. They ran my credit six times. Six hard credit pulls instantly on my record. I wouldn't have agreed to them trying their financing if I knew that they were going to do that. I could've done some soft pulls elsewhere and got prequalified. Also, AFTER they ran my credit six times, they said the only way the deal would work is if I put $3000 down. I felt forced since my credit report was already dry taking a massive hit. Lastly, don't ever buy 3rd party warranty at the same time as buying a car. Over $1000 per year baked into a financed deal (paying interest). Horrible deal and another lessoned learned. read more

I'm very disappointed with this dealership. My 27‑year‑old son, who is high‑functioning autistic, went in for a routine oil change on March 11, 2026. Instead, he was asked if they could Zelle$60 for a deposit he did not have. (which is already a red flag) and was talked into $1,161 of services through Sunbit financing -- including extremely overpriced wiper blades and tires. He did not fully understand what he was agreeing to, and the staff took advantage of that. When I called, management dismissed my concerns because he is "an adult." To make matters worse, they deleted my Google review. This experience was unethical, predatory, and deeply upsetting. I'm pursuing this with upper management and consumer protection agencies. Jacob manager had no issue with is shady stuff. read more

So far 2 visits and both have been good. At this point we are happy that we visited Baker Nissan for service.

First ... I'm not going to name the salesperson. He's been there awhile, and I'm certain there have been many positive experiences with him. This just happens not to be one of them. Our interest was in a 2023 Ariya with 9k miles, listed at $29,800+. We've bought dozens of vehicles over the years, and do our research before visiting the showroom. The test drive went as expected, but once the numbers were presented, matters came to a screeching halt. He wouldn't budge on the price, even though the car had been on the market for over three months. We presented a counteroffer which was promptly rejected. As is protocol, the sales manager made his appearance, and once again stood by the price. Of course, we left. We had a previous offer on our current vehicle, which fell through due to what the buyer termed a "misunderstanding". Now being able to offer it as a trade-in, avoiding almost a $2k sales tax hit, we revisited Baker. Once again, the price of the Ariya remained unchanged. As for the trade, I showed him legitimate offers from dealers who actually saw the car, but what was presented to us was lower ... and we were informed that we "needed a tire". We didn't want to "steal" their vehicle, but neither did we wish to overpay ... that's what negotiation is all about. We finally realized that we were getting nowhere, so we were happy to keep our trade. That evening, I received a text from Baker, offering a few hundred dollar reduction. We again countered, and were advised that the sales director would have to look at the deal the next morning. We never heard back. As luck would have it, an identical Ariya hit the market at a different Nissan dealership that same day. It was priced a bit higher than Baker's, but we figured that if the one we looked at didn't sell at a lower price for over three months, this new one would have to go for less ... and we were correct. We visited the new dealer, and were able to negotiate a final price that was very, very close to what we'd offered Baker. The vibe was positive throughout, as opposed to confrontational. When we inquired as to whether our trade needed a tire, the salesperson checked with his manager, who stated that "they're fine". As with any major item, be it a house or a car, the actual value is not a specific number, but simply what someone is willing to pay for it. If a vehicle has been languishing at a dealership for months, there's got to be some wiggle room there. If Baker had "wiggled" just a bit, we'd have likely come to terms ... makes no sense to me why they didn't. read more

I went to this dealership because of this truck that shows my price of 42k and change. When I get there the truck is in their showroom. The salesman tells me this is the truck you had inquired about. I was like ok great. Super nice truck. Let's get started with the paperwork he started to say how the is cost was 52k not 42k then that's when I tell him this here email said this is my price as the picture shows not a bace model truck. He went on about someone screwed up on the price. I told them that wasn't my problem. You guys have to honor what you sent me, that's why I'm here! Let's just say I will never do business again. COLLISION REPAIR and EXPRESS SERVICE REVIEW ONLY I bought my car here. Wonderful experience. COLLISION REPAIR - covered by insurance after damage caused by 18 wheeler and a flying rock. It was a back and forth with the repair shop and the insurance for over a week. Took 2 weeks to fix even tho they said it would be less than a week. Communication was poor. Picked up car and 1 month later noticed that there is condensation inside the front headlight (the new $1,200 ones -they told me the price bc there was a delay) Call the collision center, bring in car and it is deemed manufacture defected part. The guy tells me I need to go to the service department to have the replacement set up. Why? COLLISION is the one that did the initial work. So me trekking over there, explaining everything and it gets set up. Insurance reopens my case and I leave my car there. Takes a day or two, go pick up the car and there is a HUGE scratch/crack on the new headlight. Thankfully I checked. Reschedule for another one. Too much work by customer to get the job done right. Service guy was helpful but still frustrating. EXPRESS SERVICE - Been here for all my maintenance work $$$$. The service is a hit or miss. But the last few times I've been unimpressed. I drive roughly 40 min to get here from in town bc of loyalty but I'm rethinking it. The service experience gets worse and worse over time. The communication. The follow up. Taken almost a year to get a recall on a harness taken care of bc the ball keeps getting dropped. By NISSAN. Asked about it during one of my oil changes (10k+ miles ago - approx 10 months) and service guy said they had to order the recalled part and the next time I came in, for service they'd change the part. So next time I call ahead, leave 2 messages, no response. Show up for scheduled oil change and met with apologies. (Guy was suppose to call me when the part came in but forgot so...). He even tells me they have the part and the guy can change it but it will be an hour and half extra wait. I wait. Still getting emails and messages about the harness recall after I believe it's been fixed. I ignore them. Went in for current scheduled oil change only to find out the harness was never changed. They just ordered the part. My advisor didn't acknowledge me for the first hour I was there. Then was mostly dismissive and I've worked with him repeatedly over the years. The hour and a half ended up being over 2 hours and still waiting.... I've given hope on this place. All the money I've put in to buying my car and maintenance (at much higher prices and time) at this place and this is what I'm left with. Service here is a joke. Guess my next car won't be another Nissan after all. Back to Toyota. read more

BUYERS PLEASE BEWARE BEFORE PURCHASING A VEHICLE FROM BAKER NISSAN‼‼ On October 16, 2024, I purchased a Ford Fusion from Baker Nissan, and my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. As soon as possible, I attempted to return the car after discovering it was defective and unsafe, but the dealership refused to take it back. By October 18, I returned to report multiple serious issues, including:     *   Toxic fumes coming from the vents     *    Gear shift getting stuck while driving     *    Malfunctioning AC and defogger     *    A burning smell from the engine     *    The stereo system not working * Bad brakes    *    And many other problems Despite these life-threatening defects, Baker Nissan refused to address the repairs until the 30-day warranty period began. I was under the impression the warranty was bumper to bumper but they denied repairs. This left me and my children in a dangerous situation, forced to drive an unsafe car that put our lives at risk. At one point, the car locked up on me while taking my daughter to the children's hospital, leaving us stranded in the middle of the road. It was only with the help of security at the urgent care that I was able to get the car off the street. This level of negligence and disregard for customer safety is completely unacceptable. Selling defective vehicles, refusing to accept a return, and delaying critical repairs shows a shocking lack of professionalism and care. They are transparent with their pricing and process. The waiting area is nice and have snacks while I wait. BEWARE OF SHEISTY SALES FOLKS HERE!! Sammy Vela is absolutely horrible. He claims to have been selling cars at Baker Nissan for over a decade. He really duped me, so he must have picked up some nasty sales tricks along the way. I had such an unfortunate experience here. The dealership had the exact vehicle I wanted, including the trim and color package. I drove 1.5 hours to get to this dealership to make a deal. They advertised the exact vehicle (the exact VIN) that I wanted to purchase online at one price. Upon arriving, they attempted to tack on almost $5,000 of dealer add-on fees. When I asked what those were, Sammy became very flustered and couldn't even tell me what was comprised the dealer add-ons. The general population is aware these add-ons are just an Internet pricing scam....basically a line on the sticker that equates to part of the dealership's profit. Regardless of the dishonest and deceptive advertising , Sammy got within $3,000 of what I was offering to pay. I turned down their offer and left. After further contemplation that evening, I called back and told Sammy I agreed to purchase at his offer. I further offered to provide him a deposit over the phone of $1000 until I could return to the dealership the next evening to make the purchase. Sammy told me it wasn't necessary and just to come in tomorrow to complete the sale. I drove back to the dealership (1.5 hours) to complete the deal at the agreed upon time and take my car home. However, upon arriving, I was told they sold that vehicle to someone else that morning. Not only was that a complete unacceptable way to treat a customer, but he also said he didn't have time to call and tell me before I arrived because he was so busy. So, I ended up driving the 1.5 hours only to be extremely disappointed. Of course they tried to sell me another similar vehicle. After having the rug pulled out from under me, I walked out really upset and refused to give my business to such unethical, inconsiderate company and salesman that had a blatant disregard for the value of my time.
