I was a bit disappointed because it advertised "fried onion rings," but there were very thin fried (and dry) onions in the burger, not so much "rings." Also, it was a bit lacking in the smoky aioli sauce, but the burger was pretty juicy so it made up for it! Most of the fries were crispy! You can sub in different sides for a slight additional fee - their Cesar salad is also good! We called in for take-out, and the restaurant had our order ready no more than 15 minutes later! This is a very busy place and it seems to have a following. It's nicely decorated. Our server, Hailey, was great. She was on top of things from the moment we were seated at her table. My brother had the Caprese sandwich. It was outstanding. My sister had the pepperoni pizza. I had eggs Benedict and they were good. There is one thing which keeps me from giving this restaurant a five star rating. While we were waiting for our table I watched them clean a table after busing the dishes. The person took a napkin and ran it over the table. Our table had sticky stuff on it, so this practice may not be unusual. read more

My husband, myself and my grandson were treated to lunch by my granddaughter. The company was fabulous and fun but the food was really lacking. I had meatloaf, very pretty display but the meatloaf was nearly as hard as a brick wall and sadly I'm not kidding. My husband got fish and chips and the fish was flavorless. Our granddaughter got a Caesar salad - both my grandson and I tasted the dressing and it had no flavor. My granddaughter then asked for ranch and all of us couldn't believe the waterlines of it. I've been going to bakers crust for a few years now, mostly after work for happy hour wine with a co worker! But I wanted to give a huge shout out to the bartender Katie! She has been so amazing and sweet, we have def become friends at this point and I always feel at home when I go in there! I always get excited when I see she is working!! She's my favorite!!!! Came here for Valentines Day and had a great dinner. I liked the sweet and salty aspect of chicken and waffles. I also enjoyed the blackberry cosmo. My husband got the fish tacos. They have an outdoor patio; I would like to sit outside there when it's warmer. There was a pond right outside w/ ducks swimming around. My only suggestion is to have a white backdrop on their sign outside the restaurant so it's easier to find. read more

An overdue update and upgrade after two solid visits over the past six months. Over the Summer I had brunch on a weekday on the patio. I had the Bakers Breakfast that consisted of eggs, bacon, potatoes and toast. The service was excellent too! The patio was clean. Fast forward to late Fall I dined in for dinner on a Saturday afternoon around 330. The hostess immediately seated our party of 5 and waitress was responsive with menus and drinks orders. Since some of our party had never dined with them they brought a plate of house made Parmesan chips with dip. Yum! The dining room was less than half full. From what I could see everything was clean. The restrooms are in the rear and unisex. I found my room clean with proper supplies. The order was a pepperoni, sausage & portobello pizza, daughter chicken fingers & fries, my wife roasted chicken grinder. Our family enjoyed as well as our guest. Our waitress Amber stayed on top of clearing plates which I adored. Also she kept drinks filled. The manager Adam checked on us which elevated the review to a 4. What a cute place!! We came here because the places we were looking at had over an hour and a half wait. Called here and she said it was about a ten minute wait. We drive over snd we waited even less than that! For Valentine's Day that's amazing!!! The ambiance is comfortable. Brunch was great. They have a nice selection of drinks as well. the restaurant was nicely decorated but the food and service was sub par. My sandwich was bland and i could not cut through the bread w a regular knife. Those are about the only positive comments I can muster after the 5 of us had an early lunch on the Friday of Memorial Day. There were so many disappointments, I don't have the time to list them all here. $10 for an order of fries that were dry and tasted like they had been fried and then reheated for our group. A chicken on a biscuit sandwich where the entire biscuit was baked to a very dark brown and was just about inedible. My very small crab/corn chowder was ok but there were no chunks of crab, just filaments and a few corn kernels. The French baguette slice was dry and stale. The biscuit and baguette were especially disappointing given that this restaurant used to be known for their artisan breads. Some of the salads were missing a couple of the ingredients that were listed on the menu. Very pricey for the amount and quality of food. Will avoid this place in the future. read more

I honestly only have been here for dessert! Bring on the crepes and a nice glass of crisp white whine! Diabolotin is my crepe of choice! Chocolate mousse, strawberries, and whipped cream, need I say more??? They make them at the end of the bar and I just love watching them make these! It's super quick and you have to move fast so you don't burn them and make them just right! It doesn't take long for me to scarf down my dessert, yes, I love my sweets! Asked my girlfriend for some recommendations on places to try while we were in town visiting family. We came on a busy Sunday afternoon and were sat promptly. We were given a circle booth in the back, which was great since we had our baby with us. We order food and everything was wonderful. The bruschetta appetizer was sweet and flavorful, the goat cheese was a nice touch. I ordered the Smoked Chipotle Gouda Burger. It was really spot on. I enjoyed the chipotle aioli and the bacon, I also like how a nice spice kicked in at the end. My husband got the Bacon, Egg & Cheese Wafflewich. It wasn't bad, but we wouldn't order it again. The food was excellent, pizza had a great flavour thanks to the wood oven. The smash burger was perfect and the hand cut fries make it a great meal. I usually find I have to add something to a burger but they have them all just right. The staff were very attentive without being intrusive and that's a very hard thing to get right, Ryan was a great waiter and made sure we had everything we could possibly need. The manager, Taylor, heard it was my first visit and came over and introduced herself and told me a bit about the company and let us sample some of their delights! A truly exceptional touch! Our server Carlos must have been having a bad day because our service was the worst I've had in a long time. We felt the negative vibe from him when we sat down. He was rushing us to order and after that we never seen him again but in passing to other tables. He never once came to ask us how we were or if we needed anything. The toast came out cold and hard. I asked for butter and got the same thing, cold and hard and unable to spread on my toast. The potatoes were to crispy and had no seasoning on it. The omelet was very basic, I mean very. We had to ask for the other part of our order because it never came. We had to ask for the manager who said she'll bring it out in a togo bag and not charge us. Katie @ the bar was very courteous and I've only had good experiences with the other servers. The pseudo-rustic aesthetic with stone top tables next to a wood-fire oven sells the vibe that this place could almost be a log cabin in the woods - but with working AC. Said it comes with mashed potatoes, artisan bread, & onion rings. There were about 4 very tiny onion rings, the meatloaf was very dry & not at all good, & the bread was terribly burnt. Upon questioning others in our party, at least 20 ppl said their their meal was just ok or terrible. The French toast was good, but the side of bacon was flimsy and not very tasty. The Asiago chicken was very good, and the club sandwich was as well.
