    Oreo s'mores cookie
    Pawan S.

Amazing small bakery right near my house. This was a small hidden gem that girlfriend found while buying me some baked goods for my birthday. We decided to head back here and try some more things and it did not disappoint. The Oreo s'mores cookie was amazinggggg. I never ever like my cookies cold I always prefer them warmed up, but this is the first time I've ever gave a cookie a 10/10 while it was cold. The way it perfectly captures a cookies and cream taste while also having the aspect of s'mores is amazing. The Dubai chewy cookie is very unique because instead of mochi they use marshmallows. I will say it's not as sweet as I would like it but the pistachio flavor it gives is perfect. I'll give it a 8.9/10. The service is also very nice and they explain every item in detail. Will definitely be coming back here more often as it a local spot.

Cute shop! I stopped by after seeing countless ads on IG for their dubai chewy cookie. I also saw they sold butter and needed to restock so I decided to stop by. The price for Dubai chewy cookie is higher than normal but the size is bigger and they use better ingredients which makes up for it. The taste could be a little more flavorful tho. I wish they used more pistachio creme. I didn't know which butter to get but the worker was really kind and suggested which butter to get. I have yet to try it but I hope it is good. I want to go back to try their daily menu option.

This bake shop is a MUSSSSTTTTTT TRY. Run, don't walk, I'm tellin ya! I went for the first time today and I was in AWE of how CUTE the interior is! Compleeeeeeetely starstruck I absolutely love cute stuff, and seeing it all just made me giddy and brightened up my day. Additionally, the customer service is so warm. The cashier today showed me the menu, gave me details about the ingredients of the items I inquired about, and was just so kind and patient. I ultimately ordered a chocolate stuffed mochi, a plain butter mochi, a fig and cream cheese financier, and a s'mores cookie. I got home and took a bite of both mochis and my eyes lit up with delight! Soooooo so so so yummy. I've had mochi from Hawaii before, and this was the same quality! I have yet to try the financier and cookie, but I am sure without a doubt that they are really good as well. This place is gonna be my new obsession.

I've heard nothing but wonderful about this place, but their hours of operation never seemed to match with my schedule - finally today I was driving by after picking my daughter up from school for an early day and saw that I had ~15 minutes before they closed! Yeah! :) It's a small storefront, decorated wonderfully with bright colors and a French motif that showcases their many pastry and cookie options. I tried their signature Dacquoise, a creation with red bean and their creamy homemade butter between two soft crumbly pastry layers. Super tasty, but it is a huge chunk of butter so it would be hard for it not to be. ;) My daughter decided on a chocolate banana eclair, of which we both agreed was wonderful. Must love banana, but if you do then you will find this beyond expectation. :) I picked up a chocolate chip cookie (see pic - it's not your average cookie) for my son, and a [edit - fig cream cheese financier] for my wife. ;) We'll see how they like them later, but given the quality of ingredients used and the attention to detail put in I'm sure they're top shelf. Update: They were all wonderful! :) If you're planning on stopping by be sure to check their hours ahead of time, but I promise that you will enjoy the experience and the product, these are true French pastries.

Tucked off a main street as you head toward a more residential area, The Baking Room is easy to miss from the outside, but once you step in it makes instant sense why people love it. Parking is in the back and the exterior is pretty unassuming, but the second I walked in, Christmas music was playing and I took in the whole aesthetic and my first thought was: this is cute. Emphasis on cute. Cozy space, and you can definitely sit down and enjoy your treats instead of doing a grab-and-go. It's bright, white, and welcoming. The owner behind the counter was genuinely kind and helpful, and the vibe inside was surprisingly social. Locals were chatting, swapping recommendations, and comparing what they've tried and what they really liked. Now the pastries: elevated, thoughtfully done, and not overly sweet. I grabbed an Oreo cookie plus an Earl Grey-orange brownie mini cake. That Oreo cookie honestly melted in my mouth, rich, balanced, and straight-up delicious, and the Earl Grey-orange brownie mini cake was a fun, refined twist without being a sugar bomb. If you like refined desserts (flavor-forward, not overly sweet), put The Baking Room on your list.

What a hidden gem in Cypress! This Korean owned bakery uses high quality French butter for their baked goods. Their signature pastry is the dacquoise, which is essentially a soft puff pastry. I loved their version of it filled with red bean and a thin slab of butter. It was definitely the best pastry of our haul. My second favorite was the original scone -- it was dense but soft and flavorful inside. The financier was also very good but probably my least favorite of the three. You can definitely taste the high quality ingredients they use and the care they put into their work. I cannot wait to come back and try their other options!

Scones are my go-to pasty, so the moment I heard about this bakery's opening, I was beyond excited. I've had decent scones before, but never one that made me want to come back. I drove all the way from Los Angeles and even arrived an hour early because I couldn't wait to try it. Parking is limited, but there's plenty of street parking nearby. The shop itself is quaint and tastefully decorated. I was warmly greeted and ordered a variety of scones along with clotted cream, a fig and cream cheese financier and a stick of French butter. The financier instantly took me back to Korea where I devoured financiers from Bricksand - though this version feels even more refined. The cake was so delicious that I didn't even mind skipping the candied fig, which was a bit too chewy for my taste. The scones, however, are the true stars here. Perfectly baked, flavorful and comforting - an absolute must try. Even my British boss gave them her stamp of approval! I'm thrilled to have finally found my go-to scone bakery and can't wait to return.

We finally had the chance to visit their storefront after being customers through their Instagram and it did not disappoint at all! The bakery was so adorably decorated and you can tell this is really something the owners are passionate about! We were helped by a very sweet worker/owner who was thorough in explaining each pastry and giving recommendations. We ordered a fig and cream cheese financier, a matcha red bean butter mochi, as well as a lemon pound cake. Super delicious and unique flavors, all hitting the spot! I wish we lived closer so we could visit more often

This place is a dream, let me add another five star review. French baking at its finest. Pastry case to drool over. Sunny, easy to find. Cute decor, although I took mine to go. I can't believe I left without the deconstructed scone topped treat that looked AMAZING, but I will be back for it. Family run and polite service is extra appreciated. I said yes to a fig and cream cheese financier, caramel and butter topped scone. Win and win.

This place is OUT of this world. We ordered their two most popular items - a set of dacquoise and their scooping scone. The dacquoise is kind of like a mixture between a cream puff and a macarons. The strawberry flavor was our favorite - and comes with a delicious strawberry jam filling inside the cream filling. The cream filling is a firmer cream that was divine. The scooping scone was PHENOMENAL!!! We ordered the fruit flavored one and it comes with crumbly scone bottomed with mixed berries. The cream is so smooth and buttery and you can taste how premium the ingredients are. The service was also amazing and interior of the bakery is so cute and aesthetic. Highly recommend!!

Such a charming little bakery that uses incredible French butter in their pastries! My absolute favorite was the scooping scone, seriously delicious. The scone base is perfect, and the cream they make is unbelievably good. Plus, if you're hunting for Le Beurre Bordier butter, they actually carry it!

Can definitely taste the quality here!! Mixed dacquoise are nice to share, scones are bomb just difficult to eat Nice for a unique treat! ============= $19 for a set of 3 Dacquoise and a a butter red bean scone Dacquoise 4.5/5 I have made Dacquoise myself and had them in Seoul and Taipei, so I have a particular style I enjoy. The ones at baking room are a little denser than I like (like mine fluffier), but the buttercream is on point! Milk Dacquoise - can really taste the milk and butter Blueberry - the blueberry jam in the middle ties it all together Salted caramel - nice hit of butter and chewy, soft caramel inside The buttercreams are on the buttery side so they will melt a bit if you leave them somewhere warm, but they're not greasy. Red bean butter scone 74837/5!!!!! WOW. I do think it's the butter that is what makes this scone amazing, but damn it's good. Red bean is not too sweet, teensy bit chunky, goes really well with the butter. It looks like there's 2-3 tb of butter on this lol no regrets Scone is crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. There's no physical way to eat this other than removing the top and biting the creamy layers with one scone piece. Thank you for offering this one! I rarely see this flavor in oc. The owner is very nice and explained things when I asked. If they could have labels with pricing, it would be helpful so I don't have to keep asking questions haha They also had a scone cream layered cake thing which looks interesting. Would prolly get the chestnut one and share with 4 people lol Kind of a small spot, but what they lack up for in size they make up for in flavor ! Had I brought my laptop, I could have been working haha One big ish table but I can only see 6 people working/reading here max. They play light Korean music!

Most everything costs between $3-5. What a steal! I ordered their new item -- a banana latte made with their own banana syrup and cold foam to go with a double shot of espresso. It was tasty though seeing the old timers with their hot brewed coffees and bean buns made me wish I'd gotten something hot too. All in all, I had a great time at Cafe Bleu and can't wait to come back and try some new things. There are lots of tables and plenty of room to meet up with friends or work or do your homework.

Anyone I've offered a Manmi cream puff to agrees with me. Cream puffs are 75 cents each. They're big and are generously filled with a custard cream. I usually pay in cash, but you can pay with card (except American Express) if you're okay with a small processing fee. There isn't much seating in the bakery, but there are a couple of chairs and tables to the left. From my experience, people usually just come and go. I had never tried Botox before in my life, but I decided to get it for the first time yesterday as well. I don't think the results have shown yet, so I'm planning to post a review once they do. I didn't try the custard cream bread because my younger brothers ate it, so I can't really comment on the taste. I also haven't tried the pecan pie yet. Lately, Dubai chocolate cookies have been extremely popular and trendy, so I asked whether this bakery had them. They said yes, so I bought one for $6.75. However, when I tried it this morning, it was absolutely not a Dubai chocolate cookie. It was basically just a chocolate pie. There was no pistachio flavor at all, and no pistachios inside--just a very ordinary chocolate pie. That part was extremely disappointing. Also, yesterday I asked the bakery if they could provide paper plates so we could cut and share the pastries, but she said they didn't have any. Other bakeries usually provide paper plates, so it was disappointing as well.

The drinks were the most ordered from what I've seen. I ordered my drink and it was actually prepared already but my buzzer never rang. I watched what I thought would be my coffee stay there thinking it may be someone else because my buzzer had no buzzed at all. I finally went up to ask where my coffee is just for them to hand me the coffee and say they are waiting on my bread. What bread? It's literally in the bag that I'm holding. So that kind of annoyed me. But things happen. Service was still good like last time. The garlic and cream cheese bread threw me off. The saltiness of the garlic bread with sweet cream cheese worked really well. However there was a bit too much sweet cream cheese for my liking but a combination that worked. The mochi corn had custard and corn. It was pretty good. Not something I'd be addicted to. But it was good. The sweet potato was disappointing. The sweet potato inside tasted like regular potato.
