Really good pizza! We have also had Bambinos deliver as well, they're prompt and efficient. The only downside to delivery is that it seemed like there wasn't very much cheese on the pizza verses eating at the restaurant. So the next time we ordered delivery and I asked for extra cheese.. I was looking for a great local place for pizza, so of course I went on yelp to see what was in my area. I saw Bambino's was close by and it had great reviews so I gave it a try. I ordered over the phone, a large pepperoni, sausage, and pineapple pizza w/ extra sauce. (Yes I'm one of those weird/awesome people that like pineapple on their pizza lol) The pizza was $22 and worth every penny! Bambino's added the perfect amount of toppings and they were all very fresh and flavorful! And the pizza crust was perfect! Doughy yet crisp at the same time! Perfect for dipping into ranch or marinara. Since the pizza was so delicious, I am inclined to believe that their other menu items must be delicious as well. I've been eating at Bambino's for many years. I've had many parties at the restaurant and have also ordered take out quite a bit. Two nights ago I ordered three meals for pick up. Lasagna, egg plant parmesan and cannelloni. I took two bits out of the cannelloni and found a black hair in it. Needless to say I couldn't finish eating it so I called the restaurant and told the girl that answered the phone that I found a hair in my meal. She was silent for a few minutes and then told me that all the cooks there were bald, (which wasn't true because I was just there and saw two cooks with short black hair!) and it couldn't have come from the restaurant. Then she said "it must of came from your house" and I told her that was impossible since everyone in my house had light hair! She was silent again for a few minutes and then told me that she would "write it down". OK write it down for what and who? At that point I just hung up. I should have asked to speak to the manager but I was a little upset and couldn't believe the response this girl was giving me. Anyway, I will not be eating at Bambino's again. Not impressed. The garlic bread is on a hot dog bun... A sesame hot dog bun. And wayyyyy too much garlic, like they just loaded it on to compensate for the hot dog bun. And the whole reason I ordered delivery was bc I didn't want to do dishes and they didn't include a fork or napkins. Lived in Concord almost 5 years after moving from SF. Tried many pizza places but all the places I tried didn't have a real pizza taste that San Francisco gave. My friend recommended Bambinos, which is only a mile from my house, and it is great. No other pizza compares. read more

Since we moved to near Willow Pass Rd, Bambinos has been our go to pizza spot for about 3 months. Very nice people, great service and excellent pizza. But when my husband ordered a pizza for delivery tonight, it was very dissapointing. We ordered a medium pepperoni pizza. There was very little cheese. Very thin and wasnt even cut. It definitely won't stop me from going there again but it made me sad because that's not like them to skimp on their food. read more

First time trying this place with the hubby. We were trying to find our new local pizza spot since we've moved and we have found it!! Simply put, Bambino's is amazing!! Our server, Emily, was so friendly and made us feel so welcomed and well taken care of. My kids baseball peeps go here regularly, so I was forced to go. A gem in the rough!!! Great for big groups. I was pleasantly surprised on how good the pizza is. Not our first time here. A couple of problems, but the food was good. After ordering, the waitress asked if we wanted dinner salads. We both did, my wife ordered a house salad and i ordered a caesar. Hers was 4.95 and mine was 7.95. Mine was also saturated with dressing, way too much. The spaghetti with marinara and meatballs was good, my wife had chicken. I came here today with our lunch group. I got the Rigatoni Bolognese, which was one of the specials for $6.50. I also got a Torani soda with Pomegranate syrup; the other flavors I remember were mango, strawberry, raspberry, and one or two other ones. The food was okay, not great, not bad, just average. Solid local pizza place. Usually my go to spot for pizza in Concord. Most of the time I'll get take-out, but occasionally I'll eat in the place. They've got a nice variety of beer on tap (I think 8 total). Check out happy hour for $6 pitchers of beer. Pizza is good - nice balance of crust, toppings, and sauce. They also offer several italian dishes such as pasta which seem really fresh. Lunch buffet - all you can eat pizza and salad for $6.50. One big TV and a few smaller ones where you can catch a game. Video games for the kids. Probably a great spot for team parties. Reasonably priced and friendly staff make this a great spot for pizza in Concord. read more

This was my first time at Bambino's. I found the menu on Yelp and then phoned in my order. I got a half Hawaiian and half combo. The pizza was ready when they said and delicious. I love their pizza and salads. I opt for delivery because area can look a little sketchy at night sometimes. Pizza is thin crust, fresh toppings. I had the garlic sauce with veggies & it was bomb. We also had a delish garden salad here with great honey mustard dressing.. So good for pizzeria salad. I would give 5 stars if their pasta dishes were as good but unfortunately were not:( minus one star. My past pesto was angel hair and overcook mush.. Too bad. This pizza was really good. The only complaint I would have was that there was waaay too much cheese on the pizza and the crust was just too chewy. But the sauce was really good. They were reasonably priced as well. We tried to order it again tonite but no one was answering the phone...what's up with that. If you're closed then leave a message on the machine saying to. I know I have not written very many "critical" reviews, and maybe I've just gotten lucky, but I must say this place is GREAT!!! We've ordered the pepperoni and the Bambino Special (which is pretty much a supreme) the toppings were fresh, the crust was crispy and thick and the sauce was flavorful and tasted from scratch. We come here at least once a month, if not more often. The waitresses are great - real people, not phonies. And this place is incredibly kid friendly, our boys love it. Food is great too - perfect neighborhood pizza joint, gnocchi is great too. It's nice to come to a restaurant that's not part of a big cookie cutter chain. My favorite pizza in Concord. I have not tried anything other than the pies, but I see just as many people eating the Italian pastas and other entrees as the pizza, so I am assuming they are equally delicious. I stumbled across Bambinos through Yelp, on a cold night when my boyfriend and I were too lazy to leave the house. Not only do they deliver, but their customer service is excellent. The person I spoke with on the phone was so friendly and accommodating. The delivery guy was just as friendly (I'm hoping I have an appropriate tip!). The food arrived HOT - it seemed like it had just come out of the oven, even though I live nearly 20 minutes away!!! (Which is funny, because every time I pick up food from Rocco's, it'd lukewarm). We got the shrimp appetizer, garlic bread, bolognese, and clam chowder. Everything was good! We have been looking for a great all around Italian place in Concord for the past 2 years and decided to try Bambinos tonight. The delivery was super fast (less than 30 minutes) and our meal arrived piping hot. We ordered the garlic cheese bread, Bambino's special salad, and capellini with marinara and meatballs. Small little hole-in-the-wall type pizza/sport bar type place. Being an Italian food lover, I wasn't very impressed but you get what you pay for.
