Ordered pizza at 7:25pm for pick up was told 25 mins. I arrived a few minutes before 8pm. Still had to wait a few more minutes for pizza to be ready. When they bring out my pizza it is the wrong pizza. Not what I had ordered. Said they would remake what I had ordered. So now I have to spend another 20-25 minutes waiting for another pizza. I used to work at a pizza place and when we would mesd something up we would make it right plus something additional than just remaking the pizza. Free pizza next visit or discount on next visit, something to show we were truley sorry and appreciate the customers. But I got nothing like that from them. Show customers that their time is worth something, it's not our fault you messed up. Most likely not coming back. Ordered my pizza @ 4:18pm today 7/2/14 it's 5:55pm still no pizza. My girlfriend calls in they put her on hold as they had a conversation and not answer, she hangs up and calls back and gets nothing but excuses from employees and the manager. Your having issues on finding a driver to do something as simple as the manager jumping into the car and doing the job himself.. as a GM of a restaurant I would do anything keep my customers happy and take care of them cause word of mouth on yelp is the worst thing possible. My husband and I were looking for an Italian cuisine spot for dinner on our way home from the Bay Area. Bambino's came right up in my on-line search. Being first time customers we didn't know what to expect. Just opening the front door was the first clue in finding out what a great place to dine! The patrons already seated gave off a cheerful vibe and the air smelled like being in an Italian Mom's kitchen! It was family friendly too. We were greeted immediately and seated shortly there after. The place was busy, but large enough so the tables can be spaced out to avoid feeling crowded. They have live music and dancing on the weekends too. The menu had lots of tasty options. Hubby ordered tortellini with pesto. I ordered the Salmon Caperi which came with wonderful and flavorful broccoli. Both our dishes were delicious! We also had salads and cheesy garlic bread. Hard to give a good review when you show up an hour before closing, take a seat, then get told the kitchen is closed. Beer list is lacking, wine is cheap. On a previous date, called at 2pm to order a pizza, was told there was no driver. Called again a few hours later, still no driver. Called again a bit later, was told it would be at least 90 minutes. Was hungry for some italian Food tonight and remembered that Bambino's changed there menu and added some new pasta and chicken dishes, Was very surprised to see how packed it was on a Tuesday night, Chef Isma Pal was happy to see us and offered some ideas for dinner other than Pizza, Which by the way is the best pizza in the bay area, My wife and I started off with an appetizer of Pan-Roasted Shrimp Served with homemade bread my god this was so good it reminded me of a expensive Restaurant in the city a good signature dish I'm thinking why is it on the appetizer menu either way great dish at a good price we later followed up by house salad which always good after that Chef Isma recommended the Chicken Parmesan which was so good however was enough for two people the Chicken Parmesan hung over plate. My wife had her favorite beef raviolis with a new sausage meat sauce (New on the Menu) that was to die for, No way to finish off this dinner we took half of it home. Unfortunately, I have to change my opinion of this place. I don't know what is going on over there, but we had a few bad experiences in a row, culminating in a bout of food poisoning for me and my entire family. We were dining in on a weekend afternoon and the first pizza we received that day took 35 minutes to arrive and was not fully cooked. It was still doughy in the middle. We were very apologetic but sent it back. 20 minutes later, the waitress, who was very nice, brought us another pizza. We ate, everything seemed fine with that one. As we left the restaurant, I felt like there was a heavy rock in my stomach, but I thought maybe I just ate too much. By the time we got home though, my family and I were all fighting over the bathrooms. Not cool. read more

Great service and atmosphere! The Chipolte cream sauce chicken wings were delicious. My friend and I shared two different types of pizza and cannelloni. My friend had a draft ale, and I had a draft lager. Both were delicious. A couple of things about the pizza. Ingredients tasted very fresh--but, the crust bottom was a little too soft for my taste. I prefer a more "New York style" crispy crust. I think that would but the pizza into an "excellent category". In addition, they do not offer a classic "Margarita" pizza. Although, one can create an individual pizza. If they are not planning on adding a "Margarita" pizza, they should at least offer fresh basil leaves to the customer. The pasta for the cannelloni was very fresh and tender. The default sauce for the cannelloni was a Bolognese, which in my opinion, is too heavy for this particular dish. A marinara or a white sauce as a bechamel or mornay would have been better. I will order something lighter next time. I will go back. read more

The pizza and service here are exceptional! Natural and homemade ingredients goes into their food and the staff are genuinely friendly and personable. I can't rate the pasta because I haven't had it, but the pizza is top notch. It comes with a pretty thin crispy crust already, but I ask for it even thinner and they always oblige and produce a NYC-worthy pie (though it's cut into smaller pieces so you can't do the fold-over). They also deliver to a pretty wide area and take coupons from other pizza places. All in all I think this is a top-notch restaurant for Concord. Highly recommended! read more

Bambinos is awesome. I go here for lunch often and it is super nice. They have an excellent all you can eat lunch special with a salad bar. It is cheap too...like 6 or 7 dollars. The service is quick. I have gone for dinner a few times and it gets busy with the softball teams, and the whole environment is very fun. They recently got their liquor license so they have a full bar now which is good because now we can drink there and which is bad because now we drink too much. The fireball shot machine is pretty appealing and dangerous! The owner (I think his name is Ish but I call him Bam) is super cool and friendly. They sell awesome paintings and the whole atmosphere is family owned and friendly. Definitely good Italian food for lunch and dinner! read more

We love Bambinos!! They have the most amazing sautéed Mushrooms ever! We especially enjoy happy hour when pitchers are a bit cheaper. The pizza is simple and tasty. Came here the other night with my brother his wife and our kids, this was my second time here. I have no idea why this was only my second time here! Definitely will not be my last! First of all, Emily, our server was wonderful and kind, she was great with the kids, even making my son chocolate milk when it is not a menu option, just to keep him satisfied because he was a tired grumpy boy. My husband, kids and I eat at Bambino's at least once a week. When it opened, we were amazed to find great pasta, pizza and made to order Italian entrees in the old Aladino's location on Willow Pass Road. The pasta is all fresh and homemade - what a difference that makes in flavor! Bambino's salad is one of the only local restaurant salads I will eat - it's always fresh and very clean. And they make all of their own dressings. We've all agreed that their pizza is the best we've found locally - the crust is fresh, the sauce doesn't have that "tomato paste" taste and the toppings are generous. The icing on the cake is the staff, including the owner, Ismael, who has always been incredibly flexible in terms of special requests, and treated us from the first visit like welcome guests. read more

I love this place!!! It's only about 6 blocks from my house, so nice and easy for me to have lunch there several times a month. They have a fantastic deal for lunch; All You Can Eat Salad Bar & Pizza!! They have a great salad bar with lots of fresh toppings. And the pizza is pretty good too. And they run that special until 3:00PM everyday during the week. And an A+ for customer service. On more than one occasion the owner has had the cooks make me a couple of slices of italian sausage pizza, because he knows I'm not always wanting pepperoni. Very nice!!
