Came to try their chicken tenders and didn't know they had smashed Burgers. So I had to try both. They have multiple options. Just depends on what you're craving. I wanted to try their Mac and cheese, so I got their Mac and fries plate. I was not disappointed. I didn't get it too spicy cause I wanted to enjoy my chicken and I got medium, and there was not much heat. There are different options of what heat you want Add to it. Next time I'll try the next level up. The fries are well seasoned and pretty tasty. The mac & cheese is not the best mac & cheese I've had. But it's enjoyable. The Smashburger was really good. For this one we got the burger with the chicken tender. To try something different we went ahead and got the lemon pepper. There's different options for that. You get a hot, but we just got it regular. And it was really good as well not a fan of lemon pepper, but I really enjoyed this piece. The service was great. They kind of guide us on what to get. But I think anything you get there will be pretty tasty. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is only indoor seating. But I noticed a lot of people come in and take out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Located in a somewhat seedy appearing, dilapidated plaza, this place was actually refreshing to find. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside is clean and spacious.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Ordered the hot chicken Caesar salad burrito and this was a five out of five. Chicken was good, burrito was moist and flavorful and was a large portion. However I'm giving this place a 4 star instead of 5 because of the price. Burrito alone was $18!! Also got the tender plate that comes with three chicken tenders, a piece of toast and fries. Food was delicious and it comes with a bunch of extra packets of sauce which I always love because I'm a condiment whore. This was $17! 4/5 for taste though Also got a banana pudding for dessert. Cost six dollars and didn't really taste like banana unfortunately. Give this a two out of five. Front cashier was George who helped us and he was friendly and helpful so that is always appreciated. Would be back!

The first I got their bogo deal on Uber Eats I was pretty satisfied with the portion (although the chicken is pretty dry). The second time, they skimped so hard on the chicken; there was maybe 1/2 of a chicken tender on the loaded fries. And it was still dry

Great fried chicken and Mac n cheese! A little pricey for a fried chicken burrito ($16) but they give you whatever level of spicy you want and lots of extra sauce! I was definitely full! The waitress gave me the recommendation of adding Mac n cheese to my fried chicken burrito and it was so good! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Trendy decor and it was playing Rambo on the big screen.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Truly a bright, clean, and tasty restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]But no bathroom, even for customers.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This place is to expensive, I got 3 chicken sandwiches by themselves and it was almost $46, the sandwiches aren't that big either for the price, I know a lot more place that I would go to before coming here ever again Ripoff

Hi I am a big trisha fan and came from the bay area excited to try Bangin Buns, unfortunately i didn't realize the trisha options are only at the sherman oaks location. I didn't realize but the customer service was still friendly. If you like spicy i recommend the hot bangin because the medium was not enough. Either way! I was happy to try the famous bangin buns!

GOOD CHICKEN, I Liked the loaded smash fries and the Mac and fries ! Highly recommend for all the chicken lovers

Ive been to the location on Sherman way and it never disappoints. So when I found out that there was a location closer I was really excited to go . [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is very clean, the music was really loud , but I guess it's ok .[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The place was empty but the girl behind the counter seemed busy because it took her a bit before she came to talk our order . Food came out daily quickly and my kids were pretty pleased with their order . I wish I could say the same for mine . I ordered the Cesar chicken salad , it was gross , the entire salad was drenched in dressing . I tried to eat it but I couldn't. The Mac and cheese was runny and had no flavor . The Kraft Mac and cheese tastes better .

    Chicken tenders

chicken quality changed drastically. It's very dry and does not look appetizing. Doesn't seem like it was cooked properly. The breading looks nasty. Customer service was not welcoming. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Tables inside were dirty even though it wasn't busy. They could spend some time making sure it at least seems clean on the surface.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Inside establishment

My teen son found your place on Tik tok so we gave it a try. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Clean establishment, service with a smile[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] . We would have dined in however, [[HIGHLIGHT]]Air conditioner temp was way too cold, so we got food to go.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Strawberry lemonade was a hit, smash burger and tender medium definitely enough heat hot honey tasty we will be back

    Bangin Fries-Medium Spice

The food was pretty good. I got the Bangin Fries with Medium spice and it was actually well made. The fries were a good crispiness (I tend to be picky with my fries lol). The chicken was also really good. I was unsure of the spiciness of the food and I would say that its the type of spice that builds as you keep eating.

We stopped in on a Sunday around 11:30, no line and very quick service! Finished eating and left around 12:05 so we must've lucked out with no line. We got two double cheese burgers and the loaded fries. The burger had impressively thin patties with a really nice char on the meat skirt, well seasoned, and perfectly crispy. The buns were quite small and a bit smooshed, but they were soft. It came with some fry sauce and pickles as well, overall a good burger. The fries had a good amount of toppings (cheese onions, fry sauce) and were nice and crispy. Kinda wish the onions were slightly more grilled for some extra flavor! Would probably go for plain next time as the loaded fries and burger together had similar flavors The interior has a few benches for seating and single bar type seating around the perimeter - I could see it filling up if there's a big line of people. Would like to try the chicken sandwich and brussel sprouts next time we stop by!

The taste of a burger so consistent and familiar, that my tastebuds can traverse continents and taste fermented shark in the Netherlands, broiled Mackerel in Kyoto, or a cheeseburger in Reykjavik. The Big Mac stays the same. I went to LA to taste, apparently, the best burger in LA at For the Win. I paid $25 for two smash burgers and had high expectations. After all, when you click this joint on Google Maps, a fancy review pops up. Nice! However, when the smash burger entered my cave and caressed my buds, my mind instantly recognized it as a Big Mac. Therefore, my brain could hardly differentiate between a McDonalds burger, and the "best" burger in LA. I haven't eaten at McDonalds in 14 years, but my mind still knew what a gentle and warm face looks like. So overall, it was alright! As the reverend Shane Gillis says "Not Bad". The service was good tho. And the ambiance was a bit weird because the music was off. Haha bye!!!

Parking: Street parking was super easy on a Sunday afternoon, I was able to pull up right in front and park on the street. There is a Super A across the street and ample parking around for free. Ambiance & Food: This reminds me of an old school burger stand. Those were the best burgers and this one did not stop that trend. As I walked up, we were warmly greeted and given a quick rundown of what which burger. They did have specials (I will get to that in a second) which we were intrigued, but for the sake of perspective, I ordered the Goldburger and both regular fries and curly fries with a bottle coke. The Goldburger is naturally a double, but my gymrat protein brain added that extra patty. They use a 70% to 30% mixture for their burger which makes the burger oh so decadent. The picture I took doesn't do it justice. The moment you bite into the burger the combination of burger juice, aioli, burnt skirt, all come together in such a harmonious fashion. It was remarkable. Though fries are not one of my strong points, both fries were crispy and I haven't had any other experience with Curly fries other than Jack in the Box, but these were so much better. I went ahead and dipped the fries in some homemade Aioli and dang, what a combo! Back to those specials, the current special is CHILI, I was intrigued so they gave me a small container of it to try. Man, if I wasn't watching my caloric intake, that would have been the move. It was rich and chunky and not to soggy which some always comes. Give it a try as they said it will be around for sometime. Other than burgers, they do have hot dogs as well. So worth trying both next time. To be perfectly honest, this brought back so much nostalgia for me, I used to go to school in the area and this brought a lot of those memories back. So getting back to Amboy...This vital burger spot was exactly like in all the other videos I've seen and it didn't disappoint. We got the DH, Amboy Burger, regular fries and truffle fries. That's a lot of food for two people and well worth the price. The DH is as big as you could imagine. They cook it medium rare, which I love...that beast of a burger was so juicy, they should hand out gloves when eating it or at least a 3" high stack of napkins! You have a slight dry aged taste to it, but I am partial to the really funky dry aged. I am talking 45-60-100 day dry aged steaks, but this was just as good for a hamburger. The truffle fries were massive and could easily feed 3 people, maybe 4. We got there just in time to get the corner booth table and watch the line get longer and longer. The Amboy itself was good, nothing special and it reminded me of Bob's Big Boy hamburger sauce, which was a good memory to get back to. I think the most unique aspect are the heavily, sesame seeded buns. They were very soft, but held up to the DH 1/3# burger patty very nicely. I happened to be in the area, and even though I'd already eaten, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to finally drop in. Irv's originally opened in 1946 as Queen's Burgers, located right on Route 66 on Santa Monica Boulevard in WeHo, and was deeply ingrained in LA's historic car culture. In 1970, Irv Genis bought the stand and renamed it Irv's Burgers, and it quickly became a legendary late-night spot for rock icons like Bob Dylan and Jim Morrison. By 2000, Sonia Hong took over, famously hand-drawing doodles on the paper plates alongside her signature slogan, "Just for you." After closing in 2013 and again in 2018, Lawrence Longo partnered with Sonia in 2021 to bring the brand back to life. They've since expanded quite a bit, even opening locations in Malibu and Las Vegas. On a staff recommendation, I ordered Irv's Original Roadside Burger Double ($11.25). Honestly, it was just okay. While a certain amount of grease and salt is expected with a burger, this one crossed the line into being a bit too salty and oily. On the bright side, the sesame bun was excellent, and I loved that they kept Sonia's legacy alive by printing her classic doodles on the tray placemats. While I'm glad Irv's was saved from history and is expanding, the food itself felt pretty so-so. The outdoor tables were also a bit dirty during my visit. I still love that classic roadside burger stand aesthetic with the outdoor stools, but unfortunately, I won't be in a rush to head back.

To say I'm super bummed is an understatement. I am so thankful that I happen to stop by for lunch and visit this location one last time. The same manager was there on the last day as when I went the first time two years ago. The staff there was always amazing, friendly, and the food was incredible. I think it was the Chinatown location that didn't work for them. However, the good news is that they do have three other locations and if you have never been, I suggest you check Kroft out if you love burgers, especially smashed. The other locations are in Long Beach, Anaheim, and Rancho Cucamonga. I wish them luck and I will definitely be stopping in their other locations if I am ever in the area.

Waited another 10min, while I saw other people picking up orders, so I checked in again. Same response, not ready yet. Another 10min passed by, now I'm seeeing people who came after me get their orders before me. Asked the staff again for my order status. The order pick up window person shouted my name to the kitchen each time I checked in. Finally the 3rd time they responded, they start arguing, apparently my order was done a long time ago, and it was given to someone else. It took 30min to figure out that my order had already been done and given to someone else because there was no communication between the kitchen, order staff or pick up staff. no apology, just got my food after the argument 3minutes later...Food was average, definitely not worth a 30min wait.
