This place is a wonderful addition to the neighborhood. The interior is cozy and the service is always great. The staff have always been very courteous. The food here is excellent. The Pad Thai is excellent. But what really impresses me is their sushi. They have some great rolls and it adds variety to the menu. Very good food and service. We started with the Crab Rangoon based on Yelp recommendations and it was spot on. More flavorful then any I've ever had, amazing! My girls had miso soup and it was packed full of tofu and seaweed which I love. My husband had the Tom Kha soup which he said was very good. For our main entrees I had the garlic chicken which rarely impresses me anywhere. Here it was pack full of flavor. My husband liked the Pad See Eiw and said it was very good but he did which the noodles were a bit crispier. My girls shared the combination fried rice and it was full of flavor and lots of meat. Sauce was not typical orange but more vinegary. Also ordered the Rama chicken - very little effort & flavorless. As a new sushi lover I was looking for a place to go when coming home to visit my parents. My mom said she has driven by many times and thought we should give it a try. Well I am glad that we did!! First thing that you should be warned about is that it is very tiny inside, so don't consider going there with a huge group. But for a Friday night the ambiance was very nice. All of the decorations are cute and the restaurant gives off a very calm feeling. The waitress was such a sweet lady and really knew what she was doing. As the only waitress there serving about five tables she was attentive from everything starting with filling up our water constantly to making sure our orders came out quickly. I got traditional rolls (The Philly and Golden California) and both were delicious! Prices are reasonable. I really hope that this place stays in business as its often hard in this neighborhood to keep a small business open! I defiantly recommend this place! I really wanted to like this place, but I don't. The Tom Kha soup was more brothy than creamy, but had a good flavor; the basil fried rice was very very greasy, and so spicy I couldn't even taste any of the other flavors I should have; the seaweed salad was decent. Also, I ordered through GrubHub, and got a notice one hour after order placement that it had been delivered. Ummm....no, it hadn't. Waited 15 more minutes (since that would've still been within the delivery window stated on GrubHub)....nothing. So I call the restaurant, and ask about my order - she calls the driver, who says it'll be 10 MORE minutes. When I asked why I would've gotten a delivery notification, she sweetly told me that that means "on its way".....when I told her this was the first time I've had this issue with GrubHub orders, her tone completely changed, and she said "Well he'll be there in 10 minutes!" Nice, good job trying to boost your delivery times. I don't give my business to places like this. read more

I feel like my favorite Thai dish (Chicken Pad See Ew) is pretty much the same everywhere I go. If it doesn't taste the way it normally tastes, I would qualify it as a bad experience. Food quality was amazing but service was lackluster and this is why I have given such a low rating. My girlfriend and I were visiting this restaurant on a Tuesday night, were greeted rudely by a younger woman and told to sit anywhere, through our meal service she acted very coldly upon us and did not speak with a nice tone, even to the end it seemed as though she was unwilling to act nicely towards us while we witnessed her smile and carry herself with a positive manner to other guests in the restaurant. We are unsure if this attitude was due to the demographic we presented or something otherwise but the negative service was reason enough to say despite the quality of food we will only be returning for take out and would not recommend sitting in the restaurant for a meal. read more

Wow! What a gem of a neighborhood place. I've been there twice and have had their Thai food and sushi. The Thai food is tasty and the menu is pretty diverse. The sushi was really fresh and VERY reasonably priced. The fish is fresh and the sashimi is generously cut. Service is good, the waitress was friendly and patient. There were three of us for lunch so we each ordered one of there lunch specials, not to many specials but the menu itself was fairly large. We tried salmon rolls, tuna rolls, and spicy salmon and tuna rolls, all delish! We had salmon, tuna, and a white tuna nigiri, again ALL very tasty! I would also recommend the non sweeten green tea! We were so excited to find this new restaurant two blocks from our house! The food was excellent--for takeout on a Saturday. (No, this was not the Ritz Carlton.) We don't do sushi, so can't rate that. For the Thai food, it was all extremely fresh and flavorful. I was particularly impressed by the high quality of the chicken breast used everywhere there was chicken. Service was outstanding and friendly. I could eat Pad Thai all day long, and loved their version. There was a coupon for a free egg roll if the order was more than $20; I expected ONE egg roll and was pleasantly surprised to see an order of three. I highly recommend this for the area. I had the Tom Ka soup which was watered down and had nothing in it but mushrooms and one small piece of chicken. My entree was Orange Chicken. It looks and tasted like it had come out of a frozen bag meal that had freezer burn. The peas were all dry and withered like they had been kept in the freezer too long. My husband had the Ocean fried rice and they waitress said they were out of scallops so it only came with shrimp but still cost the full price. $40 for two people was too much for this blah meal. read more

The crab rangoon was delightful - stuffed full of cream cheese, yum! I ordered pad see eiw with chicken and loved it. The guys ordered the teriyaki selections, which came with choice of chicken or beef, vegetable tempura, and a small side salad. We were a little turned off that they don't allow substitutions, but otherwise the service was acceptable and the food was great. We're looking forward to trying it again. read more
