Good food. Pad Thai always has great flavor and fresh ingredients. The curries are also a great choice as well.

I've been going here for a while and love how hot (spicy) their food is (5 is REALLY hot...and I like it hot). Tonight, however, I went in to order a late dinner, and the doors were closed and locked at 8:45pm when the hours state that closing time is at 9pm. This is absolutely ridiculous, but their loss as I took my business elsewhere tonight. They need to get their things together and follow their hours if they want to keep customers. Edit: Went again tonight (Saturday) at 5:50pm and they're closed and phone with a busy signal. Closing time isn't supposed to be until 9pm on Saturday. Today is even Small Business Saturday and they're supposed to be participating. So irritating! read more

We ordered their vegetable pad thai mild and spring rolls. First impressions of the pad thai were that it looked as if it lacked seasoning and did not smell as expected. The vegetables did appear to be fresh and colorful. The taste reminded me of vinegar with a sweetness. Hmmm. . . just not sure about this one. On the other hand the spring rolls with sauce were rather good. It was excellent that they had the order ready on time. And the food was hot. There is no other Thai restaurant in the area. Meh. Mediocre at best. I'm in town for a few nights on business. After a long few days, I needed a night at the hotel with takeout and a beer. This place was close. I was bummed they don't offer delivery, but alas, I'm not in Chicago anymore. Whomp whomp. Pick up it is. I went for my usual...panang curry with chicken and crab rangoon. Crab rangoon were good. Lots of filling with a decent sauce. But the panang curry. I'm not sure it was really even curry. It tasted more like some coconut milk with some heat. I like heat, don't get me wrong. But I like my curries mild. This was more than mild and it was seriously lacking in any real curry. The chicken was also fairly dry. Such a bummer. read more

Best Thai food! They're quick and friendly. I've never eaten in, always do take out. Food is hot and perfect every time. Usually about a 10-15 minute wait each order, which is perfect. They don't mind doing substitutions to fit dietary needs. read more

We found this small little place while we were out shopping one day and we were so impressed! The food was delightful, we had the green curry and the curry pad Thai (both with chicken). The flavors were excellent, the veggies and meat were fresh and not over cooked. You can adjust the spice however you like! read more

My husband and I cannot get enough of this place! Family owned with Amazing food! You cannot go wrong with the Bangkok rice or Pad Thai...and their hot and sour soup is my fave...so so good! My husband and I stopped by here recently. I've always driven by this place and wanted to check it out when I used to live nearby but never got the chance. We started with some crab rangoons. I really didn't care for them. They were too thick and reminded me of eating tough pork rinds. I had some Thai tea and thought it was alright, only because I've had better at many other Thai places. For the main meal, I don't remember what my husband got but his tasted pretty good. I got the Pad See Ew and it was surprisingly delicious. I'll admit, I didn't expect much from this little joint in the middle of Jenison. We ended with a banana rice cake for dessert (my family makes this stuff too) and it was good and as expected. I would say that overall, we had a good experience and I think the food was pretty good. If I was in Jenison and craving Thai food, I would definitely eat here again. read more

My all time favorite restaurant in the area! When I found this gem 9 years ago, I didn't realize that it was going to ruin all other Thai restaurants for me! I grew up abroad and was so disappointed by most of the Asian fare available here. While I know it's not totally "authentic" (they use a wider variety of seafoods and meats), it's pretty dang delicious. The beef is always cooked so that it's crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. The vegetables always have the perfect amount of crunch, and don't lose their color. I love how fresh everything tastes here! Try the Thai specialty options! My favorites, in order of how much I like them (favorite at the top): 1. Masaman Curry with beef (because its sooo much better with beef!) 2. String Bean Curry (loaded with fresh ginger, and such a simple and satisfying dish.) 3. Green Curry (ask for extra basil! It's worth the small extra charge.) 4. Crispy Rolls (my son cries if I take a bite out of his. They're that good.) 5. Thai Iced Tea (you'll never go back to iced coffee after this.) 6. Peanut Curry Noodles (I prefer them cold, so I take them to-go and eat later. More flavorful this way.) I have been to the Jenison location and the downtown location several times. It is definitely worth the trip to come to the Jenison spot. The menus are the same, but I think Jenison must have better cooks, because the food tastes so different at the downtown location. (Biggest complaint there is that they don't cook the beef the same way. Their beef is rubbery and flavorless.) Oh, one more thing: this place knows how to do spice levels RIGHT. I LOVE spicy food, and most people's "hot" is my mild. If you can't do the heat, then ask for a mild plus. I order "extra hot" everywhere else I go, but here the "hot" actually makes my nose run. A medium is a comfortable heat level for me, but my husband always gets that and considers it "very spicy". Lol. To each their own. read more

As other reviewers have mentioned, this food is consistently delicious. We come regularly, and it always turns out great. Just be prepared as you order the spicyness for your dish. Hubby likes things pretty spicy, but medium is pretty much all he can handle. I also like some spicy, and Mild + is just about right. If you don't like spice at all, mild is just that, mild, and it won't surprise you. We usually get the Pad Pak and Pad Se-Ew. Great stuff! read more

I've probably introduced 10 people to this restaurant and every one of them always wants to go there any time we make dinner plans. I've eaten nearly everything on the menu and have preferred every dish I've had at Bangkok taste to every comparable dish I've had at any other Thai eatery (besides the regular pad thai, in which a place in Troy, MI has one that's equally good). The portions are great as I'm a overweight man with a big appetite and always leave content without the need for 3 appetizers (even thought those are great too). The constant stream of carry out orders being paid for at the counter just goes to show the quality of their food. So looked on Yelp for some food near where I was staying, and this place popped up. It's located in a strip mall but don't let that scare you away. This was some of the best Pad Thai I have ever had! Favorite thai food restaurant in west michigan. This place has a lot of really great options on their menu. The price is about average, but you get a ton of food with your order. The staff is super friendly and they always remember you when you come back in. As others have said, careful when ordering spicy dishes. I went with a friend , and he ordered a ginger beef, and I got the Thai basil with chicken. His only had water chestnuts as a vegetable. Mine only had broccoli. Best asian inspired food in Hudsonville / Jenison area hands down.

We just spent 3 years in Guam and had access to a lot of great asian food, including Thai, so we know what's good. This place does a good job for the most part. I had the panang chicken and it was a tiny bit salty and not as thick as I am used to. Also, the rice was not Jasmine rice, but not a problem once added to the sauce. I have not tried the other Thai places in the area, but I would come back to try another dish for sure. It is also a good indicator for this place with someone picking up take out every 5 minutes or less, they were busy for sure. The bonus for eating in here is the waitresses are HOT and equally great at there jobs. Nice girls and attentive waitresses. read more

The food is usually excellent although I was not happy with the change to my peanut curry. It was usually made with green peppers and green beans. N4, medium with chicken!. Best thai food I've ever had and one if my all time favorites. Don't order it spicy unless you have a crazy high tolerance to spicy food.
