This shop has been around for years and I was finally able to visit. It's in a shopping Ctr very easy to miss if you don't know what you're looking for. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. Great big smile very cheerful and helpful. The menu is small and consistent. I asked for the top 2 best sellers. Sandwiches are 5.00 and HUGE. Well made and good quality fresh ingredients. The French bread was flaky and pillowy. The veggies were crisp and had good distinct flavors. All sandwiches are dressed the same. #2 combination has pâté, butter and head cheese. This was my fav. It all just worked. A great bite 9/10. #5 grilled pork was good but a bit too sweet for my taste. The pork had a marinade paired with the daikon was too sweet for me but I'd definitely recommend it 7/10. Don't think....add it to ur list!

We are visiting from the Bay Area. Our sister recently moved to Dallas and was in search of a good banh mi sandwich. We found this through YouTube. We are so happy we found it! The sandwiches are delicious, fresh Ingridents, and the bread is everything. Crunchy and soft French bread. We got the combo and grilled pork banh mi. Each is $5. What a great deal!!! The sugarcane drink was made with fresh sugarcane. Loved it! They make everything in house and fresh daily. Friendly owners and made all of our sandwiches really fast! There are spots to sit inside but we opted to get it to go. Very cute inside decor and clean. We will come any time we visit :)

I don't frequent this part of town as much, so it's been awhile since my last visit. Recently, had to stop to get my bahn mi fixing. Good to see that that they offer the buy 5 get 1 free deal. Overall, the store was clean and very simple. The menu is just some pictures of their bahn mi, but no price or description in English. Also notice my receipt after I got home that they charge extra for using credit card. I don't mind the fee, but it really needed to be posted or at least verbally tell the customer prior. Otherwise, the bahn mi was good as last time. As it's only my son and I that like bahn mi in our family, it took us 2 days to finish eating all 6 of them. One tip to heat them up is to microwave it for about 30 seconds then to toast them about 5 min to give that perfect crunchy toast on the outside while the veggies stay crisp. Overall, I still think it's a good place to go if you're craving for bahn mi. The star deduction is more for the lack of transparency in doing businesss, such as no English description, no price, and not disclosing to charge extra for using credit card.

    So good!

Staff was friendly and food was delicious! Ordered the sugar cane juice and it wasn't too sweet, just right!

#2 Banh MI Dac Biet, Special Combination. Ham, pork roll, pate, & head cheese. Pickled daikon radish, onion, & cucumber. Vietnamese mayo, cilantro, & onion. Flavorful & the veggie protein ratio was perfect. Only $5.00. They make everything but the bread in house. Try it. You will love.

Honestly did not expect this place to be that good but the owners are super nice and its a small and close by shop for banh mi! There was not too much meat on the inside of the sandwhich but again it was only 3 dollars each! Also buy 5 get 1 free deal! I got 5 plus 1 free grilled pork and it was good! I got veggies on the side so i could go home and toast it for a minute to make the bread extra crispy before adding the cold pickled veggies. He gave a lot of the pickled raddish and carrots which i love which was great! I would definitely go again if I am too lazy to drive to garland for my favoirte banh mi place there. I also got a sugar cane drink which was sweet and tasted almost like fresh coconut juice just extra sweet. Not bad but not sure if I would get it again just because it was so sweet and had this aftertaste that I am not sure if it was normal or if its because the sugar cane sticks he had wete getting old. Either way still good but I haven't had enough sugar cane to know if thats normal or not!

What are the meats on the special Combination?

Hello, the meats in our special combination are the sliced pork roll, ham, and head cheese. This sandwich also comes with a spread of pate and Vietnamese mayo.

Is it still cash only? And is there an ATM?

Not sure about atm. But you can use credit card, but do know they do charge a fee to use it

What's the going rate for a banh mi these days? Thanks

That said, once we arrived, it was absolutely packed to the brim. Every table was full, including a private conference room, and the space itself isn't small at all. I imagine it's a bit easier to find seating when the weather is nicer, but today was freezing, which made their six outdoor tables completely unusable. My mom ordered the chocolate croissant and said it was the best she's had at any coffee shop I've taken her to. We had it warmed, and it was incredibly rich and indulgent. The coffee was fine--nothing memorable--but the matcha was to die for. They had about six people working in a very small space, and despite that, service held up well considering how busy it was. The crowd skewed younger, with lots of people posted up working for long stretches. Definitely a long-haul seating kind of place. The vibe was great: louder music, energetic atmosphere, and it somehow all worked. There's also a stuffy (quiet) room available for rent if you need it. Matcha rating: 8/10. Second best matcha I've had in Dallas so far--better than La La Land, but still not topping Tried & True Stellar, which remains my #1. This place has real character--very local, very lived-in. I'd come back 100%, probably earlier in the day to snag better seating, since once people sit down here, they really settle in.

Decor is modern and great place to hang if you plan on sticking around but they're pretty efficient on the grab and go. I love Vietnamese coffee and what they have here is excellent and best of all not too sweet. Generally I find most shops take to be made with cafe du monde and a lot of condensed milk but this here has definitely better beans and a better balance between acidity, sweetness and other flavors. It's also straight up rocket fuel - be warned, it's a very strong and potent brew but will get you going in the morning. I also tried a black sesame latte because it sounded interesting. The cream on top is nutty and rich with the sesame notes and the coffee is good too, though a bit hard to stir together, nor is it as potent as the drip but well crafted nevertheless. When I come again I think I would just pick the classic. All in all, great new coffee shop!

The egg cream coffee was great, the egg cream complemented the strong taste of Viet coffee. The coconut matcha cloud was a little underwhelming. The matcha flavor was pretty weak, so the drink tasted mostly like coconut water. For the prices, $8 is a bit expensive for a cup of coffee, but I think it's still worth every once in a while. I would try the other speciality phin coffees next time and skip the coconut matcha cloud. Overall, I would recommend if you want some Viet coffee and are in the area.

It's a beautiful spot with coffee to match. My Overall Rating - 4 Stars (Atmosphere, Coffee, Return) Atmosphere - Walk inside and you'll be treated to a beautiful, cozy coffee shop. The bright white walls are accented by blue comfortable chairs and gold lettering. There are locally sourced pastries behind glass, and Middle Eastern themed lighting hanging from above. 1 Star. Service - Port Coffee continues the trend of ordering through a kiosk when they are busy. On both visits, I wanted to order from a human so I could learn more about their concept, but on both visits, I was directed to a kiosk. Also, I ordered "for here" so I could get pretty latte art, but they made my cappuccino "To go" and I had no art. No Stars. Coffee - Given the lack of service, I came back two days in a row. Why? Because the coffee is pretty darn good. They serve your standard espressos and lattes, but I tried their Iced Mufuwar. This delicious drink was dark roast mixed with milk, cardamine, and some sweetness. That combination made me a believer. The cardamine added a light, fragrant flavor (hints of ginger) with just enough sweetness (you can choose your level). It was smooth, refreshing, and a perfect pit stop during my morning walk. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. The coffee was so good I came two days in a row. The (lack of) service did not prevent me from trying their delicious coffee. I'll be back to try a pastry. 1 Star.

I went today Monday June 1, 3:35pm staff was great! Seems they are busy and had a shelf full of online/pick-up orders. I typically walk in and see what they have to offer and buy 5lbs on average. When I asked the lady at the front she gladly went to look, unfortunately they didn't have Colombia in the medium roast, but that makes sense! Colombia is a Hot Hot item! They are also a smaller roastery, I bet it takes the staff plenty of time to get a solid roast for all those different coffees, so I never nag them for not having the coffee. The coffee is great, it's local, best of all, it's fresh. She gave great alternatives to my pallet, as I love a light and medium roast, but I need a large quantity. I got the Ethiopian Guji, usually my second choice, and she packed it right up for me. I was in and out in 5 min. They do sell soaps like someone in the reviews said, but it's just a couple, alongside with a minimal amount of merchandise on their shelves. Long story short, they are people too, and the vibe you give out, is the vibe you'll get right back. I overheard the roaster and it seems they are sweet and passionate about what they do.
