They to have a nice outside eating area with a couple of tables and chairs. Menu is straightforward as is ordering. Older lady taking orders is friendly and even brings the sandwiches to you if you're outside. Menu choices are basic but have the main sandwiches choices for banh mi. There is also two tables outside in front if you wish to be in the hot Vegas summer heat! The menu is quite simple, just 11 types of banh mi and 2 types of Vietnamese coffee. The price ($7.50-8.50 per sandwich and $5 for coffee) is a bit high but in-house baked baguettes and fresh ingredients make it worth it. We tried the following sandwiches: 1. beef lá lốt - this was ok, a little sweet for my taste and there was a hint of curry to it. Not what I was expecting at all. 2. grilled lemon grass chicken: the lemon grass is very present which is great however, the chicken was shredded and seem to be mixed into the lemongrass sauce. It was not grilled as I thought it might be. More like rotisserie chicken that was shredded. Again there was a hint of curry to it too. 2. grilled pork: the pork was grilled so that was nice however it was quite salty. Again there was a hint of curry to it. It is in the corner of a strip mall and it only has a few seats inside. We took a table outside. I asked the lovely lady at the register what the traditional Bahn mi was out of all their options and she stated the #3. So we ordered three of those (minus the headcheese) she said it wasn't head cheese like we were thinking but we didn't want to risk it. We waited 5 min max. The bread was warm and crunchy on the outside and super soft on the inside. A very satisfying bite. The flavor was outstanding. What an amazing introduction to the Bahn mi. The meat was seasoned so well and juicy. i got the #1 and I believe they use a spicy sauce on the inside or maybe it was the jalapeños but it was a tiny bit spicy. Best Banh Mi in Vegas!!! This is by far the best Banh Mi in Vegas because they come in super early in the middle of the night to bake a couple hundred French bread for the day. Once they sell out, usually by 1-2pm they close. They have other Vietnamese snacks here also. The Star of the show here is there French bread and Banh Mi (Vietnamese sandwich). If this is the best banh mi dat biet in Vegas, then I'm pretty disappointed. The banh mi is mediocre and pretty basic. There isn't really a wow factor which usually comes from the mayo butter and pate. Those two combined should create an umami flavor along with the different cuts of the Vietnamese cold cuts.
