Their sticky rice was similar with the one i used to have in the childhood,since i missed it a lot a years and years. I tried many stores in my place,couldn't find taste like here. What a hidden gem in a somewhat worn down shopping center. I just wish this place was bigger. My mom is absolutely the worst to take out because she is so picky. However, higher spirits answered my prayers. I did not fail her this time. She has been talking about the bun mam from here, NONSTOP. I also really enjoyed their banh canh. This is my 4th time eating here at Bap's kitchen and it won't be my last. I can never have enough of their pickle white eggplant that they have in the Togo conditioners. banh canh tom cua here is to die for!! my mom said they cook it the traditional hue style which is so cool. its hard to find good authentic vietnamese foods that actually value quality. i ate the banh canh tom cua togo and it was so good i had to come back. on a rainy day i came in with my mom and we both got a bowl to eat. the bowl they gave us was HUGE and very yummy but we could not finish it because it was just so much. maybe they gave us extra since it was cold and rainy. the meat? super soft. the cha? super good. the shrimp? huge and crunchy. anyways, very nice staff, clean and lovely place, multiple tables to eat in, and their menu is extensive. i will definitely return to try all the other foods they have. read more

Honestly, everything tasted like Togo food, but not at a Togo price. The egg rolls were so bland and had no hints of flavor in them. Corn was okay. Stir fried noodles with beef was oily and bland as well. I love small businesses, so hopefully they redo their recipe or make some adjustments, and I'll give this place another chance. read more

Highly recommend this place! They are known for the goat dishes but its not my thing so I haven't tried it yet. I ordered Bún Mam, Bún Bo Hue, Banh Canh Tom Cua, and spring rolls. The portions are huge and price is very reasonable. My favorite is the Bun Mam. It comes with a lot of seafood. I can't barely finish my bowl. My very first time here got to know the restaurant through my colleague, and it wouldn't be enough to say DELICIOUS!!! Their "canh cua rau ngot" is one of the best taste I've tried in most auth Viet places, plus their price is amazing! I also ordered pha lau, and OMG it was really goooooooood!!! I must come back here for their xoi man, sticky rice chicken, appetizers (all of them are my favs), soups (all of them too)... Well pretty much a whole menu LOL! Another big plus is: THEY ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS!!! Unlike other local places around the Little Saigon area that try to either avoid taxes by ACCEPT CASH ONLY, or, try to "sell" more to you by "MINIMUM X AMOUNT", THEY TAKE CARDS!!! You end up leaving the store feeling happy coz the guy at the register is nice and smile to you. The only FYI is the parking is one way another. Ordered 2 large goat hot pots for my family of 6 members and it was delicious. They gave us a lot of meats and soup, flavorful. The flavor is similar to the flavor in Vietnam. Decided to stop by this place after finding it on Google maps pretty close to my house. When I arrived, the store was very small and only had enough room for about 4 sets of tables and all were filled up. They placed a single table right in front of the counter where you ordered so I took it despite it being a little awkward as there were always people going up to pay or order an inch from my seat. Nevertheless, service in general was delightful. My cashier was also my waitress and she was attentive and very kind. I ordered their nui xao bo with minimal expectation and was impressed. Normally I am not a big fan of ordering this dish outside and much prefer making it at home due to how greasy it can get. But I felt like Bap's kitchen nailed this dish in their own skillful way! Great presentation, grease control was easily noticeable, the penne pasta was all evenly cooked and smoky, cubed steak was well seasoned, and the cilantro and bell pepper pieces just made the dish overall very fragrant and flavorful in addition to looking appealing. Their portion was well worth the money; in fact I was so full I had enough to bring home and make it my secondary meal! My family tasted a few pieces and said it was a lovely bit in their taste buds. I have not tried any other dishes there yet but this one so far got my belly well fed! read more
