The twist they take at Bar Cicchetti in Mediterranean cuisine that meets your classic Italian favorites are out of this world! When you walk into the dimly lit restaurant you are greeted by kind hostesses. They led me and my guest to the grand staircase to our table overlooking the main bar and restaurant below. The wallpaper and single light over each table was a nice touch for the dark second floor! With it being their opening day we ordered some of our waitress' favorite dishes she had tried so far! I think the chicken croquettes were my favorite thing I have had in a while. They were salty and savory and the perfect dish to start out with. We also loved the cauliflower and fried burrata appetizer. I can't wait to come back and try more of their tapas and lite bites. This place is GOOD, everyone. I can't think of a better spot to go into this location in Deep Deuce. It's a huge multi-floor space that can fit a lot of people with a modern and instagrammable style. Food comes out very quickly from the kitchen. Atmosphere is awesome. Everything tasted good and okay but not great. My favorite was the queso fundido. I like this place. Good atmosphere and drinks. The food was mostly good, but the bartender forgot half our order so we had to wait half an hour for it. Also had to wait a long time for the bartender to see if we needed more drinks - they lost a lot of money on alcohol our party would have ordered with attentive service. We got crab lasagna that looked like the bottom of a rubber boot and must have been two days old. It was inedible. Despite our not eating it, the bejeweled bartender just took it away and did not ask why we didn't like it. Everything else was fairly good. I might be back for a drink and an appetizer but it's just simply not good enough to spend $100+ on for dinner. read more

Im so sorry to whoever else was there the night I went because I'm sure they had the same awful experience I did. I'm truly so embarrassed since we had a party of 7 to celebrate a young lady's birthday there, poor girl. Shame on the manager and staff. I can't help but to feel ashamed on your behalf. This has got to be one of the absolute worst and poorly managed establishments I have ever been to. A very poor excuse of a bar/kitchen. I don't even know where to start, there's just a multitude of things that went wrong that should have not gone wrong had there been a competent set of managing personnel & staff. I guess I'll start with the drinks: the employees seemed very lost, hectic, & confused. I asked if they had Martini&Rossi and they looked me right in they eyes and told me yes! of course they had that! Then 20 MINUTES later he brought me a random white wine Im guessing. The chaotic bartender came over & i had to explain to him what Martini&Rossi was & that he had poured me the wrong drink. The whole time he seemed in disagreement which was confusing to me. It's just champagne. After that I asked him what was in my cup and he looked at me with the most bewildered look & said the most unprofessional thing that could've probably came out of his mouth, he simply replied: "I don't know, I poured it but I pour drinks all day so I'm not sure." What the hell was in that glass ? Til this day I do not know. That was strike 1 for me because the whole encounter with the bartender was super unflattering. Anyways I asked for a water and they brought it out an hour later. At this point we honestly didn't have a waiter anymore, the one that took our orders initially had left and not one soul came to check on us or ask for other drinks or any other orders for food. We literally had no waiter/waitress. That was strike two for me, the confusion that was racing through my mind at this point was incredibly frustrating. But the cherry on top, strike 3, was the food. The food was definitely not worth what they have it priced at. The pizza tasted like your moms typical garlic bread whenever she makes spaghetti on a weekday slapped on with some olives and mushrooms. But the gag is we waited two hours for SOME of it to come out because it turns out half of our tables food NEVER even made it to the kitchen. The guy that "took" our orders literally never put HALF of them in. I got there at 8 & they gave us HALF of our food two hours later at 10:20pm. Completely & utterly unacceptable. I sat at that table for two hours, hungry out of my mind and my food never even made it on the ticket. Even the birthday girl was missing her food. This was definitely the most unpleasant bar/kitchen I have ever been to. Had it not been that girls birthday dinner I would have simply gotten up the moment I had my first interaction with the bartender and walked out of those doors. On my way home, still on an empty stomach, I stopped by my local Taco Bell and ate a delicious chicken chalupa. At least then I had food on a plate. I will never be coming back here, I hope the manager wakes up and makes changes so this place can be efficient because last night was an incredibly distasteful circus. read more

The food was good. The gnocchi had flavor, but no sauce (dry). The apps were interesting, good luck getting more toast points for the dip. The service less so. Efforts were made to compensate us for the mistakes, but it took an hour + to get our drinks refilled. At least 3 items ordered were unavailable after they had been ordered. We were in a party of 6 and 2 of the 6 had to send their orders back because they were wrong. 1 had ordered lasagna to find out they were out of it then replaced it with ribs and were brought a cheeseburger. 30+ minutes after the rest of us had out food the ribs arrived. The excuse was the "rush", but the restaurant was as merely at capacity with no one waiting for a table. We had a 7:30 reservation and 2+ hours later we got out checks. I am hard pressed to return and get if after reading this you have a similar experience then I guess you will know it isn't a one off. read more

I cannot say enough good things about Bar Cicchetti. We had the pleasure to dine on opening night and met Chef Fabio Viviani. I've known Chef Jonathon since his first farm to table Ludivine and his passion for atmosphere and cuisine hasn't wavered. These 2 men are amazing and they are masters of their craft. We tried an array of cuisine and nothing disappointed. Crudités, chicken croquettas, crispy cauliflower, lamb meatballs, and Patatas bravas were all perfectly cooked and each was full of flavor. The local green salad had the perfect amount of dressing and flavor. For our entrees we enjoyed the Nishyobi Akaushi Steak cooked to a perfect med/rare and the smoked paprika caramel added just the right sweetness. The sweet potato mash that comes with it was amazing! Slow Braised Pork Shank: out of this world!! Falls off the bone and glazed to perfection. The fingerling potato salad in a vinegar dressing was the perfect side for this dish. Drinks, food and atmosphere make this a great addition to OKC. read more
