Cute secret garden patio with a roof. Nicely shaded during mid day.

We came here just for the $7 happy hour (Tuesday to Friday. 3p to 6p) and was blown away by the quality of the food! You can't get a better deal than this in Yorkville. We loved the hummus and falafel the most. The hummus was well balanced and came with a good amount of pitas and mixed veggies! The kiwi chili margarita was refreshing and very well balanced. Definitely a must when you're in Yorkville.

Bar Reyna is a nice casual dining establishment with limited downstairs seating and a spacious upstairs area. We were seated by the door where the seats were a little wonky, looks like one chair leg was taller than the other. The music is also on the louder side. We came in time for happy hour and the hummus was mediocre. The Kiwi Margarita was good but it was too much on the spicy side. The Reyna salad was good! The calamari was good as well but had very small portions. Don't recommend coming if you're here for dinner but okay for drinks.

Tried this spot with my friends a while back. The food was good, portions were small but delicious. We had a reservation but had to wait really long to be seated which we didn't love, but we got dessert on the house to make up for it. This place is definitely more of a date night vibe than it is a girls night place. Keep that in mind when making a reso! Def worth trying

We arrived around 2:30 in the afternoon, we were greeted immediately by the hostess and we asked for a table for two. The hostess went to her seating chart, poured over it, excused herself and went to the back. She came back a few minutes later, looked at her seating chart again, the proceed to seat us on the back patio. I found the whole situation odd, the front bar section was empty, the back patio had 2 tables of two, the rest of the patio was empty tables. Once seated we ordered the falafel tacos and Spanish fries. The tacos were grilled flat bread with falafel balls, Fresno chilies, picked red onions, a great sauce topped with a crispy element. The falafel balls were really good, nice crunch and great flavor. The fries were super thin crispy strings, topped with chorizo and cheese. Served with chipotle aioli. The fries were seasoned well, had a nice crunch and the sauce added a touch of heat. They were really good. Three o clock rolls around and they pass out a happy hour menu. I was hoping to try a margarita on the happy hour menu but the server was no where to be found. Once she appeared again we just asked for the check and left. Great food, meh service

Always a great night. Servers are lovely and the music is on point! Got two different cocktails. They were beautiful but not really my jam. The fires are always a winner! Mmm these were the Italian ones. The ceviche was nice and I really liked the cauliflower bravas. But hands-down if you go here what you must get is the lamb baklava. It is out of this world! It sounds really strange but the saltiness of the lamb meat with the spices and then the crispy pastry and then the slightly sweet sauce that's on top is unreal. For dessert we tried the ricotta fritters with an orange blossom sauce. They were nice but really sweet so I don't think I'll fantasize about them later. Also prepare your soul the ceiling is so beautiful!!

First visit to Bar Reyna back in October 2019 was superb. I've always wanted to revisit and here we are in August 2021 and my second visit wasn't the same. The dishes were underwhelming this time around and didn't really wow us. Grilled prawns were probably the highlight of the night (and I specifically visited for the lamb baklava and Lebanese tacos). 5 stars for the amazing service. 5 stars for the cute ambiance. I'll probably revisit Bar Reyna just for the drinks (or maybe try their brunch menu next time).

Food: 4/5 Atmosphere: 4/5 Service: 4/5 I went there for my friend's birthday. This is place cute and cozy. Food was great and delicious yet it was bit slow. Great place for a date or small intimate gathering with friends. Recommended. I would love to try this place again when the patio is opened.

Intimate is how I'd describe this place - I would not come here if I was starving but it was a good place for small sharing plates. The best bang for your buck would be the dips and the fries. We came in a group of 4 but everyone around us was on a date. We were seated a bit later than our reso so we got dessert on the house, super kind and friendly servers. The hummus, halloumi skewers, spanish fries, and labneh were delicious and everyone enjoyed.

This place was lovely! It is located in one of the best neighborhoods in town and has such a lovely ambiance! The menu was quite large and diverse considering it is a tapas style menu. The cauliflower croquettes were lovely, as well as the Lebanese tacos. We also got falafel and Spanish fries which were full of flavour! The one word that comes to mind when describing the menu is: unique I am definitely looking forward to returning here again in the summertime when the patio opens up

Went here knowing that the portion sizes would be small and more like tapas style. Some dishes were bigger than expected and others were extremely small like the one lamb shank for $10 and it turned out to be only 4 bites. I'd say don't go here unless you're looking to grab small bites and drinks with friends. The quality of the food was superb and there was not one dish we didn't like. Service was quick too and attentive.

This place is probably good for a drink, but definitely not if you are mainly looking to get food. I found that the staff were pretty rude and we had to call them over several times just to order. Additionally, the food was very basic with small portion sizes, and wildly overpriced. The bill ended up being around $35 per person and I left just as hungry as when I came in (after splitting 5 dishes). Again, the vibe was good for drinks and chatting, but definitely would not go here for the dining experience.

Really like the hidden patio out in the back - it's a really nice feature and I like its intimate and cozy vibes. There are so many lounges that are really hyped up but fall short on their food. However, Bar Reyna's food and drinks are actually pretty good. My favourite by far was the lamb baklava. Very creative, very tasty. Wish the portions were bigger though, especially since it was $10 for two pieces of lamb baklava. We also got the calamari and Lebanese tacos. Both were also really good. Prices were on the higher side unfortunately. For dessert we got kaffir lime and saffron baklava. Very pretty and decadent dessert, although my stomach felt weird after eating it. Drinks were really well done. They weren't watered down like so many cocktails out there. My favourite is the P.S. I Love Me.

Probably one of the cutest patios in Toronto. Bar Reyna is tucked away in Yorkville and has a beautifully decorated patio with lanterns and plants all around, resulting in a warm and cozy environment. A great place for a date! I went here for brunch the other day and shared a couple of dishes - Lamb shank Benny : an interesting twist on a benedict, and honestly not what we were expecting when we ordered it. There is a portion of lamb shank served on a fried chip on a bed of Cauliflower rice. Quite a lovely taste and the lamb didn't taste gamey at all, which was a pleasant surprise. Portion was quite small, however. - Baklava French toast : would highly recommend this dish! Not overly sweet (which is a nice change from 'traditional' brunch dishes). It is served with a lovely orange blossom sauce and vanilla ricotta. Not to be missed! Would also recommend making a reservation as it does get busy during brunch hours on the weekend

Great for lunches, especially during patio season when the third floor roof is open. At night, it's moody and dark, lit by candles on the table and the tvs at every corner with sports playing or generic videos. Dishes that I always get are the creole blackened chicken, avocado kale salad and truffle fries. The sunset soda is also a great, cheap and low calorie drink. Honorable food mentions are their featured (at the time) crab dip and the salmon aburi sushi.

It was a Sunday night , the day after Valentine's Day and it was packed. Good thing we had reservations. Despite how busy it was we were seated right away and our server Sarah was an absolute gem. Our drinks came out quickly and well made. They have a great wine list and we took advantage of it. So, ambience - check. Service - check. But it was the food that blew us away I started with the Wagyu carpaccio that emma's to die for. Just perfect with the crostinis. The my wife had the avocado bowl with salmon and I had the mushroom striploin. Both meals just freaking delicious- these folks have it down to a science and the food was off the charts. Some people may disagree because it's a chain restaurant but when they hit on all cylinders, which they have every time we've been there, it's awesome. Cactus Club - highly highly recommended. I think I have a new favorite Toronto restaurant. We booked…read morethe patio and the hostess double checked if we still wanted to be seated out there since the temperature cooled down a bit but we were fine sitting out there. It was even better because it wasn't an open patio but more like a room with huge open windows. The decor was very cute as well. We got to interact with many employees besides our server as some came to check on us, bring out dishes, or clear our plates. Everyone was so nice and made the experience even better. I saw the refrigerated meat wall displayed in the back and asked a manager if I could take a picture and he offered to take us inside so we could see it up close but our Lyft driver had just gotten there. Every interaction with each person we came across was positive. Our server, John was awesome. He took the time to explain to us the differences between the types of steaks since we were a little new to eating wagyu or kobe beef and wanted us to enjoy the food since we would be spending the money on it. He paid a lot of attention to detail which was super nice. He switched out our white napkins to black ones to match the dinner vibe, grabbed a mini stool for us to place our purses on beside the table so they wouldn't take up space on top or sit on the dirty floor, and came to check on us several times. We enjoyed everything we ordered. The cocktail and mocktail were perfect for each of us. The oysters were refreshing and the Caesar salad was perfect. The potatoes were so yummy! I'd describe it as a fancier deconstructed baked potato. Before cooking, the raw cut of the strip loin was brought out to us so we could see the marbling of it. Our steak was cooked to a perfect medium and didn't even need any extra sauces to supplement. There were a small number of pieces that were completely all fat that were hard to eat but overall the steak was enjoyable. We were waiting to ask our server for a dessert menu when a dessert dish was unexpectedly placed on our table with a "Welcome to Toronto" written on it. We had told John it was our first time in Toronto when we first sat down and this was a sweet surprise. It was their signature butter cake with white chocolate cream and caramel sauce. It was SO GOOD. Like I was scraping the bowl for the last pieces good. It was a perfect way to end the night. Overall, we really enjoyed the experience and would love to come back again the next time we are in Toronto. I would highly recommend this place for anyone visiting as they go above and beyond for their patrons and the food quality is amazing!

The transition from the street to the interior feels deliberate, and the low-key energy of the room encourages lingering. The cocktail menu leans heavily into Asian-inspired flavors, and that is what makes it stand out. Every drink feels thoughtfully developed rather than relying on presentation alone. We tried the Cloudy Oolong, which was especially memorable with its rich tea flavor and creamy cheese foam that added a savory depth to the cocktail. The Strawberry Tetsu offered a dessert-like profile without becoming overly sweet, balancing fruit and tea notes in a way that felt refined and well composed. Each cocktail arrived beautifully presented and balanced, making it easy to appreciate the amount of care that goes into every glass. The menu is creative without being gimmicky, and the flavors are well integrated, with each drink offering something distinct. On a Valentine's Day brunch visit, the atmosphere alone was enough to justify the reservation. The kitchen demonstrates genuine competence: dishes arrive with care, the pacing is unhurried, and the mise en scène -- from tableside presentation to that now-famous thirteen-layer chocolate cake -- reveals an establishment that understands the theatre of fine dining. That towering slice of chocolate cake, in particular, is a masterstroke of marketing and pastry craft in equal measure; it draws the eye, earns its reputation, and very nearly steals the show. Where LOUIX LOUIS gives one pause is in the cuisine's ability to fully match its surroundings. The cooking is accomplished and reliably pleasant, yet seldom rises to the level of genuine distinction one might hope for at this price point. Dishes satisfy without surprising; technique is evident but inspiration, at moments, feels held in reserve. For the corporate traveller or the visitor seeking a polished, geographically convenient showcase of the city's skyline, this represents an entirely sound choice. For those seeking an experience whose flavours linger as long as the view, the kitchen has room yet to grow into its magnificent stage. Service is attentive and well-intentioned, though it can occasionally want for the depth of knowledge that elevates a good meal into a memorable one. LOUIX LOUIS is, in sum, a very good restaurant striving -- not quite yet arriving -- at greatness. The bones are exceptional; one hopes the culinary vision will, in time, catch up with them.
