This place is right by the beach and close to the aquarium so it's convenient. They serve smoothies and a variety of food. Pretty pricey in my opinion for what they serve but I think people come here for the experience of beach dining. Plus, it's located in a pretty touristy spot so to be expected. I ordered the salmon with salad and homefries and a pineapple smoothie which came out to $36 (including tips). The salmon was a little dry but the pineapple smoothie was delicious. Food was average especially for the price point. Ordered garlic shrimp with eggs, and for $16 I only got 3pcs of shrimp, 2 eggs, and 2 cups of rice which is pretty sad. Coffee was good though. Very small shop off of the island. Flicked with several birds trying to gain access to food that people throw out to them. Remember it's not ethical to serve them food, but people do that anyway. We did not order any food there however we did order their pineapple smoothie inside an actual pineapple. With taxes, it runs around $10. It's a bit sweet so ask them to make it less sweet. I believe they added sugar to the drink. There is several tables where you can sit with your order and enjoy your food / drink. Be sure to bring your own water bottle. They charge you $1 for an empty cup if you need water. The staff here are nice, however some are not. However, maybe it was that time of day. Supposedly you can get a good view of the Friday evening fireworks here. Definitely worth a try if you are walking around the beach. read more

I love their garlic shrimp plate. Its so flavorful!!! I took 1 star off because of the consistency of the dish. I love it so much that I ate their 3 nights in a row. The first time I had it, it was so bomb, from flavor to presentation. You can tell from the first picture. But the other two times weren't as good. I am not sure if they have different chefs but everything seems a little less in term of unique flavor, texture of the shrimp , and presentation. I still love it but not a wow experience like the first time. The price is reasonable. The line is very long but food is served really quick. They have pretty good live music band. read more

Everyone absolutely loved this place! We were a group of 6 looking for some variety at a reasonable price with a view and BBC checked all the boxes. The food was great, I had the burger loco moco and it was a sight to see for sure. At first I thought it was the biggest plate of gravy I'd ever seen, but after digging in I found some decent rice, a perfectly cooked egg and a really great burger patty. We also had the sword fish, both people eating it thought it was the best fish they had on our trip. We couldn't leave without trying Kalua Pork...although it's pretty easy to prepare, it's hard to make it memorable. They make it good here, I liked it more than every other place I had it. Fish and Chips was an impressive dish too, I mean fries are fries but on this visit they had some nice long cuts of mahi-mahi breaded perfectly. The view alone is worth a visit, I mean you can't get more on the water than this. Who cares you're on picnic tables and there are no servers because you are practically on the water. I wasn't overwhelmed by the price either, for being so close to Waikiki and the water it felt about right. The food being as good as it was made it more than alright. Enjoy! read more

Waiting in line took forever at around 7pm on a Sunday night with maybe less than 10 people ahead of us. The food came out fast though after ordering. The Mango smoothie tasted like the mango juice from Costco mixed with shaved ice. The quesadilla with kalua pork was ok. The kalua pork had good flavor but the cheese did not have any flavor to it. Queen's Surf-n-Turf Plate came out better than I anticipated. Regular flavor on the steak with salt and pepper and the good part was that the steak was not tough. The garlic shrimp was not the best. The sauce had good flavor but came out Very Salty. Even too salty for me and I like salty foods. read more

The line moves VERYYYYY SLOWLYYYYY here. Looks like there's only 1-2 people working. The cashier takes orders AND makes drinks, so cashier needs to finish making drinks before taking the next order. Seems like they're using this method as a tactic to make it look like a super busy, hot place via a constant line formation but you will lose customers doing this. Although it doesnt look like much from the outside, this restaurant was one of my favorite spots. Not only is there such a scenic view of the ocean and the city skyscrapers, there is also a cute lil patio with lights and the food is quite good. Also, at night from usually 5-8:30 there is live music. Tonight, there was a lil luau with Hawaiian and other islander music and professionals doing hula. My family's 4th and then maybe 5th time tomorrow to come here and have a beautiful breakfast. We travel and find gems worth looking for and this was a lovely gem that comes from OAHU. This place is away from all establishments and has a beautiful view for group photos. The staff are incredibly friendly and kind towards all customers. I strongly support these types of businesses and the food is plenty to have a great breakfast. I will come back tomorrow because it's worth the journey to take my family to OAHU and finding a place that is nicely established as this. I will grade it with an a big F for fun-loving delicious. We live in town but love going to tourist town for Barefoot's breakfast burritos. They are filled with potatoes, cheese, roasted veggies, and bacon (you can add a protein). The cafe is right along the shoreline so you get a beautiful view of the surfers. read more

Okay okay so this place was INCREDIBLE! The beef from the cheese burger was so favorable!! I've been avoiding burgers our whole trip because we can get those anywhere in CA. However, man do I regret getting one on our last day; wow! So good! The pineapple smoothie was a bit pricey at $12 for barely any smoothie. We ended up tearing the pineapple apart and found lots of meat at the bottom of the pineapple and it was absolutely delicious! The fries were a perfect hint of sea salt and crispy! The wait time was very quick. No seating due to covid but we found a bench in the park next to it. Perfect view of the ocean and delicious food! I recommend 10/10! read more

Everything at this place is good which is really surprising since it looks like some random city park building. I think they have the best pancakes on the island. They have blueberries and strawberries on top. They are kinda stingy with the syrup. They used to have big bottles of syrup available but now they give you two small packs. Regardless everything is super-fresh. My girlfriend usually gets the shrimp plate or make your own omelette. It used to be awesome to sit there and watch people surf, but the city put up a fence while they fix the eroding sidewalk - which seems to be taking YEARS! Not barefoot's fault, but still sucks. We were very excited to try this place out as it has a couple of seemingly great vegan options. I got the vegan tofu poke bowl and was very disappointed. It was just a plate with plain white rice and weird tasting tofu. Nothing "bowl" about it and no other toppings at all. I've had great tofu poke bowls but this was not one of them. Definitely not worth the price. My boyfriend got the spring rolls, they were good but the price for 3 tiny spring rolls was just sad. The sauce was nice and spicy. A little disappointed I never found this place on prior trips to Hawaii!! Its counter service and has plenty of tables so you can sit and enjoy your food RIGHT ON THE WATER!! You're not gonna get a better location than this! And with a place like this, its be natural to assume the food wouldn't be good but quite the contrary, I was super impressed with the food! I had the catch of the day plate and my wife had the catch of the day sandwich. Amazingly fresh fish, simply prepared (grilled) is hard to beat!
