$10 baronney free cup
Kenneth E.

Came in here for a quick solo dinner. Ate at the bar and while it took a second to get served, the bar tender was friendly and kind. The $10 drink was good, but a bit sweet for my taste but the souvenir cup was nice! The food itself was a bit bland but not bad. Overall an OK place to stop in for a quick dinner.

This was my favorite meal in New Orleans last week! A coworker and I stopped in after a nearby conference last Tuesday night. The restaurant was way too empty for the quality level - I can only hope it was just an off night. They had a great happy hour, so we each had a glass of wine. We also both ordered the steak po-boy, which was truly delightful, just so flavorful and perfectly prepared. She had a salad and I had fries as my side; we enjoyed both. I'd absolutely return if I was in the city again.

Shhhhhhh.......Hello? While I don't want to quite share this hidden gem of a place it's time. I've been here a few times and this place really serves up quite a meal. I stumbled in one time after confusing road repairs. I saddled up to the bar and enjoyed a cold one and their Barbequed Shrimp poboy. On this particular night, the boy enjoyed the dip (we both did) , the burger and the Etouffee. We got bread puddings to go as well. So delicious with a beautiful buttery rum sauce. A few other locals were in and they all shared their favorites. This place has a really nice wine and spirit selection as an added bonus. Can't wait to return again before the word gets out.

Great service, nice staff, great food and surprisingly chill atmosphere. Well imagined interior and fair prices.

Absolutely not. First off, the vibes were off from the moment we walked in. Our server seemed rushed and short with us, despite there only being two other tables in the restaurant. The Brut champagne came out flat, and my well-done burger was nearly raw--I couldn't take more than a few bites. Everyone else at my table had lukewarm food or dishes that just missed the mark completely. We had a reservation at 8:50 only to find out they close at 9, which felt like a setup for rushed service and subpar food. We were in NOLA for a week, and this was hands-down the worst dining experience of the trip. Skip it.

Trio appetizer of red beans and rice, crayfish etoufée and gumbo

If I could give this restaurant 10 stars I would. We were visiting NOLA for the first time and wanted to try the local cuisine. The bistro was a short walk from our hotel and had great reviews so we came for dinner. So glad we did! Our server, Ashley, was awesome. She recommended I try the appetizer trio of gumbo, crayfish etoufée and red beans and rice. All 3 of them were delicious! The decor and ambiance were perfect for a romantic dinner for 2. Many thanks, Ashley and Baronne Bistro for making our first NOLA visit so special. We will definitely be back!

Ambiance was lovely! The drinks and entrees were good no doubt, but they have the best boudin balls I've ever had in my life! And that jalapeño ranch for dipping? I could drink it by the gallon. Also it did come with 5 not 3, we just couldn't wait!

The food was excellent! I recommend the steak poboy The server was very friendly and professional. Even though it was a Friday night and the place was buzzing with people the over noise level was low. Will be back!!

We walked in to this place around 7:30 ish and we were seated right away. However with it being the Taylor Swift Eras Tour weekend they seemed short staffed and short on some food items. The atmosphere was cool like half bar half restaurant vibe. The food did take a bit to get to us and we saw some people seated after us get their food first but that probably was due to the swiftie rush and not typical. Poboy and fries were delicious would eat it again. The boudin balls were a little spicy which I liked a lot but might not be for everyone. And the red beans and rice were pretty tasty too. Over all I would try this place again but not a must for me.

Lets try this Bistro

Everything was disrespectfully delicious. Every bite had us questioning our life choices in the best way. By the end of the meal, we were all sleepy and completely defeated by how good the food was. The staff was on point, courteous, and polite. Our food came out hot, fast, and perfectly plated with consistency that never misses. My only small complaint is that the sweet potato habanero sauce isn't as thick as it used to be. I'm a little annoyed about that, but it still tastes exactly the same Cochon Butcher remains one of those must visit New Orleans spots that never disappoints. Great food, great service, and a place I'll always adore.

We ordered the black-eyed pea chili and the muffuletta, and the sandwich completely stole the show. The bread was perfectly soft, and you can really taste the difference in quality with their in-house meats. The olive salad tied the whole thing together, complementing the rich, savory flavors perfectly. That being said, the space gets extremely crowded on busy days. It's tight enough that you'll likely have people bumping into your chair or brushing past you while you eat and walk through the dining room. The biggest downside was the service at the counter. The line to the cashiers was very disorganized. Instead of calling the next person in line, one cashier was pulling people up at random, which made the ordering process frustrating. Overall, the food is fantastic, but be prepared for chaotic crowds and a messy ordering system during peak hours.

However, I know wait times can be out the door so plan accordingly. We were dropped off by Uber, but in terms of parking, it's mainly street parking. Overall, the shop is pretty small. They have a handful of tables outside and more seating inside but it's not huge -- hence the longer lines. It's also quite eclectic with serving on plastic McDonald's plates and the music that was playing. We ordered: The ham sandwich, wedge salad, and a delicious pickle cocktail The ham sandwich had excellent flavor! I wish it had a but more ham on it, but overall the flavor was 10/10! The wedge salad had too much salad dressing. I LOVE blue cheese and blue cheese salad dressing but the lettuce to dressing ratio was off. Could have used less as I felt so much went to waste. The thick cut bacon on the salad was the exact salty touch it needed and the fresh dill was such a fresh touch. The pickle cocktail was delicious! I wish I would have ordered another one! It was slightly sweet, but also salty... SO good! Overall, I would highly recommend Turkey and the Wolf and totally stop by again if I were visiting New Orleans in the future.

I come to central deli whenever I'm with someone not from New Orleans due to the fact their muffuletta is quintessential! I would like to reiterate nothing was wrong with the food , great food purely with the lady taking orders. I got a classic half muffuletta and a "glass" San pellegrino. The lady then told me open glass is prohibited in New Orleans , I retorted with "o really I didn't know that , since when?" Before I could finish The lady then yelled with "SINCE FOREVER, IM SORRY YOUVE BEEN TO BAD BARS WHERE THEY SERVE YOU GLASS ITS BEEN ILLEGAL SINCE THE 50s" which isn't true the city changed the law in 2001. She then proceeded to open my glass bottle even though I told her I didn't want it open, so I the asked if I could get another one since she was in rage mode and didn't understand that she just contradicted herself. As I asked for the second San Pellegrino, she then takes the first one and goes "NO PROBLEM THANKS FOR THE FREE DRINK", and starts to drink the San Pellegrino infront of me as I check out, making thirst quenching noises like "AHH". As I leave she can't help but remind me for her free drink again. I'm pretty sure the management witness this whole situation and I hope they do something about, that lady doesn't realize what hospitality is and needs to be fired. I did nothing to her and I bet I wasn't the first she has blow up on. But in my eyes absolutely unacceptable.

I placed my order and then went to the front of the house to grab a frozen Irish coffee. There's one six people ish table and some small bar space in the Killer Poboys area, so I sat by the bar solo until my sandwich came out. I got the grilled shrimp poboy-- it reminded me a lot of the grilled shrimp sandwich from Num Pang, which is an NYC institution I miss dearly. But the bread is much softer and plentiful. The mayo and the overflowing pickled carrots makes it a messy experience. For Gulf shrimp, the fishy taste was almost nonexistent, a testament to the good seasoning and grilling. I wish we would all be so lucky to have late night bar eats like this.

The Surf & Turf gives you get the best of both worlds (shout out to Hannah Montana). Look it up kids. You get the slow-cooked roast beef with gravy plus fresh Gulf shrimp. Shut the front door!
