Visiting out of town and decided to grab pizza and this place was down the street from where we were stay and boy oh boy was is good!! 1. Had phenomenal service from Kylie who took our order at the counter and also checked in on us throughout our dining experience! She was funny and had great recommendations (sweet chili wings)!! 2. The pizza was to die for! Very cheesy and cooked so perfectly! We got sausage and pepperoni, very fresh ingredients! We also got wings half hot flavor half sweet chili (recommended by Kylie) the sweet chili were definitely my favorite such good flavor, wish the hot flavor was a little spicier! Overall had a great experience! Heard the have locations in So Cal, but they said the quality was the same, so I will have to find out for myself! read more

Came to this Barros after a football game with my son's team. I had never really been to a Barros before. In fact, I've only had a slice of pizza from another party in the past. But we've ordered 25 pizzas at a time from a different location and experienced bad service. So trying this one out, I was a bit hesitant. But this location set a different tone. From the time we got here to the time our entire group left, the manager and other employees made sure our party was ok. Which I thought was great because honestly at places like this, they could care less. We ordered a few pizzas... cheese, pepperoni and combo, along with their salads. Absolutely disgusted! Here for lunch with friends.A person, I think female enters with a large male child and even larger beast of a dog. Appeared to be some kind of pit bull. After walking the dog around the room, sat at corner booth by front door. The beast stank. We could smell it 20 feet away. These people appeared to be friends with a female employee who joined them several times, was laughing and talking with them. The dog was wearing some type of service dog apparel, but there did not appear to be anything obviously wrong with owner. Dog barked and growled at times. I have long heard that Barros has great pizza but disregarded the compliments for years for reasons my wee little brain can't fathom. Maybe some built in prejudice because it looked like a place my family went when I was a child?? Who knows where the silly notion began...but my distrust has been rendered foolhardy. Recently we had a scary movie night at home, which called for pizza. We decided to try Barros because they deliver and we don't like the Dominos types of delivery pizza. Short story...the service on the phone was friendly and prompt, the delivery was as well, plus the pizza was delivered piping hot. Then... I bit into this pizza that I was so hesitant to try for the last 4 years... YUM!! What a waste of 4 years driving to distant locations for a good pizza when it was only a couple miles away AND has free delivery!! This is very dangerous. We decided to try Barro's after our gym session and most because we had a free large pizza coupon. It was Friday night and the place was packed! We did not realize it was a order at the front and pay. Was told that the pizza would take about 25min but everything else would be delivered. We seated ourselves at a table and shortly after was brought our wings and salad. From the food to the service, everything was great. I've been to a lot of the Barro's locations and I am never disappointed. Every time we are in AZ it is one of the few places that we MUST go to while we're there. Literally every pizza I've tried is delicious. Our favorites are the BBQ chicken and the Hawaiian. Of course pepperoni is always a great choice. Their wings are great and their salads aren't too bad either. If you're looking for quality delicious pizza you have to try Barro's. read more

Another try and still gross, soggy and disappointing. Pick up a piece of pizza and literally half the piece falls down, toppings come right off but mostly the crust is super thin and beyond soggy wet. Ordered pizza, wings, pasta, and a salad online for delivery. Got my delivery without the salad. Called I for the missing salad, was told it is kept separate in the fridge and sometimes the delivery person forgets. Was not offered a refund for the salad but was told it will be delivered by the next delivery near our area. 50 minutes later Still waiting for the salad after we have already finished our meal. I give them the extra star for their delivery, it's always quick and the food is always hot. I simply wish their wings were not so dry and flavorless, they need to improve on that. Their pizza I feel is good but a bit too salty for my taste, but then again I'm from New York and will never be satisfied. This was our go to spot until the last time we ordered food here. My wife placed the order for a pizza and a few other things, and the person who made the pizza apparently was having a bad day or wanted to play a prank and decided to mess with the food. The bread included with the spaghetti was "glued" to the underside of the lid with a wad of mozzarella (which doesn't normally come on it). Hopefully nothing else was done to the food but no way to trust it again in my opinion. After speaking with a manager, they essentially tried to blow it off as a mistake even though it was clear there was some ill will at play. He then went on to admit that he hears the workers routinely whine and complain about having to prep customized pizzas. We won't be going back, and with kids like this working there, messing with the food, I would suggest you steer clear as well. read more

I was quoted 30 min it took over 60 min to get my food which was annoying but somewhat understandable. What makes me annoyed is they know they are behind making the pizza so they let my wing order sit on the counter not under a warmer for 45 min until my pizzas were done so they were cold by the time my pizzas were done. I know this because I ordered in store and knew my order number written on my wing box that I watched sit on the counter in the cold. An apology is a free 2 liter. I like the bread the pizza is made on. It almost tastes like brick oven but not. It bubbles up towards the crust and is soft. Its not too thin and not to thick. They also load a good amount of toppings. Usually my order is ready in 20 minutes. My only complaint is that whenever I request crustless pizza (spread toppings to very edge) they they always say no problem but when i pick up my pizza they do not actually do it. Its very disappointing. This has happened to me a couple of times already. This time i checked at the counter when I paid and brought it to their attention. They agreed it was not crustless and offered to make another but I didn't have time to wait. I appreciated the offer none-the-less. read more

honestly food was fine. but order to go. We got there had ordered ahead of time and was just going to dine in. they have an arcade area in the back that my 4 year old loved. however, within 5-10 minutes of being there one of the waitress went back there and told him to go back to his mom (me). She did that 3x practically trying to pull him away. Then to top it off, they are all like vultures. there was probably 4 booths filled and FIVE waitress went on patrol and circled the entire restaurant just waiting for something to do. seriously? I am not sure if that was a management call or they decided that themselves but it made my family extremely uncomfortable every time they would go by and make eye contact while we were eating. the second we got up to go, all five of them came in to clear the table. not all of us were even up out of the booth. Overbearing, uncomfortable and overstepping. I'm pretty patient but don't tell my kids to eat or go sit down. that's my job as their mother. read more

Poor service and communication. Was having a great Friday till I found out my favorite pizza location on Riggs/Mcqueen was unable to deliver due to water main break. After obtaining my cross streets the manager told me this location on Highley/McQueen could take care of it. After spending 15 minutes on the phone with a GM & manager at this location was told I was out of delivery distance. They let me know I could pick up the pizza. I explained what happened on my previous call, but it didn't seem they cared about the poor communication between the locations. I rely on delivery as way to keep my family safe during covid, so this experience left me frustrated. I had visitors in town and we decided to give this new pizza joint a try. We came in at 1 pm. The dining area had only two other guests. We ordered at 1:10 and received two gluten free pizzas at 2:02. It was anything but enjoyable trying to have a nice conversation with my guests while our 4 year olds were getting hungrier by the moment. I can eat gluten so just ordered two individual slices which they handed me straight away but they sat there for 52 minutes while I waited for the rest of the tables food to arrive. There was no apology or explanation. I asked about 30 minutes into it if the food would be coming out soon but she said she would check and never came back. It would have been some consollation if the gluten free pizza didn't resememble cardboard with toppings. I was embarrassed and felt bad that they left hungry. read more

We stopped in for lunch and got a Barro's special with added sliced tomatoes on the side. The wait was a bit longer than 20 minutes, fortunately we got a pitcher of kilt lifter to bide the time! When the pizza came and they brought out a bowl with the sliced tomatoes there were about enough for 1/2 a pizza. There should be, at the very least a full tomato slice for each pizza slice. Nevertheless, the pizza had great flavor, just the right amount of sauce and cheese. The crust is excellent with a nice crust and slight sweetness. Hmm it's just so-so. The pizza tasted very good. It was piping hot and had the right amount of toppings. Butttttt there was a huge layer of grease on the top of it. And it took sooooo long. They weren't even busy.. and we had to drain each slice of pizza onto a napkin before eating which isn't all that appetizing.. The place was kinda dirty. Table stain was coming off and caused that sticky forearm feeling yuckkkk. We opted out of a dirty high chair and put my toddler just on the booth bench (which was also dirty but was atleast cleanable). The breadsticks. Yeah, id pass on those. They were boring and overcooked. Crunchy af and cardboardy. Marinara sauce was good. Pizza TASTE was good. But idk. I'm going to try them again for sure but I have mixed feelings! We ordered a medium pie for pickup around 7 pm on Sunday October 9th....simple enough with pepperoni, sausage, and pineapple. When we opened the box it was obvious the kitchen staff was having some fun. There was a huge amount of cheese in the middle...I mean A LOT (1 inch thick) Underneath the center was a glob of pineapple, not spread out. The only pepperoni and sausage were placed in ring around the edges. It was impossible to eat without utensils because the excess pineapple in globs made the undercooked crust soggy. I don't mind a messy pie, but this was an intentional attempt to screw up a pizza. Someone had fun making it the exact opposite of how it should be. It was no accident. read more
