My new favorite pizza, eat in or take out. My first time last night. The wait was a bit longer than usual for take out but it was a Friday night. We had two medium pizzas..half pepperoni, half meatball and a meat lovers. The meatball was the favorite. The other two a bit salty for me but still very good. The place is fairly large and nicely decorated. The college aged women they have working, about 10 of them have obviously been trained and do a great job. Barrow's is going downhill. For years it was our go to place for pizza, wings (salad, pasta, sandwiches, etc). But lately pizza has been really greasy and flavorless and wings fatty. I just tried to place an order at the power and US 60 restaurant, when I explained to the young lady on the phone the last digit of my CVV2 number has worn off and I could not provide it to her she said go into the light or get your glasses, wow!!! I guess Barros pizza has no consideration for the elderly. This young ladies attitude was horrible. I had a couple of pizzas delivered. They were delivered within the time bracket predicted. The pizzas were terrific! The crust is so fluffy and delicious! The sauce is also great! I got mine with extra black olives and put some garlic sauce on it from my fridge, as I'm vegan and ordered no cheese. Better than any other nationwide chain pizza place. I placed a delivery online order and it said 70 minutes until delivery. An hour and a half later I called and they told me or was pick up. I argued because I had my email with a 2.50 delivery charge. The manager got on the phone and told me I was wrong. What happened to the customer is always right. If I had time I would go and prove it to Taylor the arrogant manager. He is unprofessional and has not only lost my business but those of many neighbors and friends. read more

Ordered a pizza, wings and salad for pickup. Went to pick it up and I knew there was going to be a problem as soon as I gave the girl at the counter my phone number because she asked for it again. Then she left to go ask someone a question. She comes back and tells me that she gave my order to someone else with the same name (even though the procedure here is to ask for a phone number and not just a name). So I had to wait for them to remake my order. This is not the first time this location has screwed up my order. Another time they had my order sitting off to the side, even though they said it was still being made. By the time they realized it was just sitting there, it was cold and I had to ask them to remake it. Only nice thing this time was that the manager gave me half off. Web site is down, unable to place an order. Asked wife to place the order. Arrived, the order could not be found. Asked them to look under Tina d.... Or Jim D.... only two in all of the west coast. Told, she cant do that, unless I know for sure. She is not giving away the pizza to the wrong person. I will not go back and have a 14 or 15 year old talk to me like that. This BARROS pizza location is nose diving fast. Increases in prices coupled with far less cheese on per pizza equals a managerial/owner/fanchisee decision to increase profits while reducing overall operating costs, therefore lowering the quality and value of their pizza. I waited to write this and ordered several times over to be sure this was not an isolated incident. Sad to say tonight is the very last order I will place and I will not order from this Barros location again going forward. I'm nolonger and simply not a fan of their regression to lower value and lower quality standards , nolonger consistent with the original Franchise vision. I understand business have to struggle to survive sometimes but not at the expense of the customer. This is my opinion as I have been a fan of this location and quite frankly, its nolonger a good option and will prefer Costco pizza at 10.00 for a large pie that at this m,oment in time blows the pants over this Barros current product. Went for lunch with my sister and was disappointed to see that they got rid of the salad bar and instead give you a lot of lettuce & croutons, a small amount of tomatoes and grated cheese. Overall everything was very underwhelming. I also got a slice of veggie pizza which turned out to pretty much be mushroom only, good thing I love mushrooms, oh except they were very thin, not so fresh mushrooms. Barro's is on the expensive side. This location is good but most of the time greasy pizza. I order the XL pizza, 24 wings with salad. The pizza is nice and hot when I pick my order up. I was reading the reviews about the salad. I never had a problem with it just being croutons or all lettuce. Now one thing I have had is the wings over cooked. Fried to death! This location is convenient but not one I would choose. But if you like brick oven cooked pizza, try the Barro's on Mckellips & Power. read more

The very rude girl working the counselor told me they have a large pizza 24 wings special for $26, I told her when I placed the order they should have informed me for two dollars more I could've doubled my wings. I just had a piece of pizza when I came home, and it was delicious. However, while I was eating, I felt a HAIR in my PIZZA! I hate being negative, but it was so gross and so unsanitary. It was IN the pizza and definitely was not mine, nor did it belong to any of my family members because we're all either blond or redhead. This was a thick, black, long hair. In. My. Mouth. Ugh! I enjoy the pizza, but the fact that I found hair in my pizza makes me never want to eat from there ever again. Went in on Friday 25th of march. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE service. Teenagers behind counter on phones, and just laughing and screwing around, all tables hadn't been wiped down, trash all over the floor. They forgot to put our order in to the back so we sat for 30 minutes while they all stared at us and couldn't figure out why we had no food. Went in bathroom, GROSS GROSS. I'll leave it at that. Finally someone came over and figured out they messed up bad. Half ass apology. Very very disappointing. Someone needs to get this staff in order quickly. read more

This entire place is dirty. There are napkins and trash all over the floor, the place is completely dead.... they have enough people on staff to do a quick lobby sweep. The brand has gone down hill. Crispy wings come soggy, the salads have less to offer than a drive thru at McDonalds. The pizzas aren't often cooked evenly, and thoroughly. I don't know if the family doesn't care anymore, or if in their quest for building a chain, they lost track, but the feeling is simply no one cares there. The Gold Standard in the valley is Nello's pizza. If you go there, you get an incredible meal every time. After that is Venizia's pizza, they care and try hard to make a great meal.
