I didn't even know this was in Ann Arbor. It almost is hidden and only the locals know about this spot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very spacious and it is located in the plaza with Zimmerman and tjmax.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was meeting a friend and wanted to get a BLT. Doesn't disappoint because it was pretty good. The service was good too! I recommend. It is a nice fresh local spot

Super quick device. I ordered online and it was ready in 15 min. Great variety of bagels. I love the spinach and feta! [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are also plenty of seats for those looking to chat with friends or even study.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Still the BEST bagel shop I've ever been to is Barry's Bagels. I'm not a huge bagel fan but this place can't make a bad bagel. Great flavors and options make Barry's a favorite of adults and kids alike. Very comfortable and well-organized layout after the remodel. Their prices are reasonable and the service is fast and friendly. Lots of staff to serve you. They allow you to sample the cream cheese if you're not sure of the flavor you want. I really should stop in here more often. It really is exceptional.

Barry's bagels is a good bagel indeed. The service is very efficient and even though it was late morning they had a large selection of bagels of all flavors. I like all bagels, guess I'm not to discriminatory. My favorites would be the everything, the half salt, plain, banana nut, garlic, onion, well, as you can tell I could go on and on. The line is very long usually out the door in the mornings but it goes very quick. They are very efficient and the people that handle the food don't handle the money so it's all good. I didn't give it five stars because for me there's nothing like New York bagel company but Barry's bagels is great and I would recommend you give them a try!

Been coming to Barry's for a very long time...2 decades. Love Barry's but today's visit was a huge disappointment. The quality has gone greatly downhill (haven't been recently due to moving out of town). My go to has been a everything toasted with scallion cream cheese and jalapeño slices. Todays bagel was oddly hard on the outside, barely any everything on the bagel, the girl who made my bagel grabbed a handful of jalapeño from a jar and slapped them juice and all on my bagel...so gross. Jalapeños yes...with juice no. Friendly ness has never been a thing at Barry's...it's more Order, be quiet, pay...don't engage. And, before owner rebuttles my experience. My bagel is not the way is it due to being toasted.

The selection of bagels is great. I ended up getting the spinach feta one which was really delicious. I got an egg and cheese and the sandwich itself was good too. The service was really friendly and quick. Overall this is a great simple bagel shop and does what they do extremely well.

Clean, friendly and fast! Amazing bagel selection, wonderful, strong, hot coffee. Excellent stop for brunch! Well maintained restrooms, too.

Good but does not quite have the NYC texture inside out. I had the lox sandwich. I ask for toasted but they forgot yet it was fresh. Multiple seating and charging stations. Order at the far end of the store not at the cashier.

Same sentiment for their vegan chocolate chip cookies and other vegan baked goods. Sad that I don't live in Michigan purely because I'm not near Bakehouse 46. All their cake and frosting flavors are thoughtfully curated. Some of them that are not the standard ones are switched out every month, including one new vegan flavor. During the month I was there, it was lavender which I was skeptical of but it was actually delicious! They have cute mini sized versions of I think most of their cupcakes too, which is so great! I heard their banana pudding is amazing and is a best-seller. Can't believe even their ice creams are so delicious! The vibe inside sitting down is cute and perfect to enjoy a sweet treat or chill, like any other cafe. Even the customers who come in know their stuff is so good and I noticed the store draws in quite a "sweet" intersection of people. I think I actually witnessed the customer interaction right below this but imo I thought they were being kind of unfair and entitled, so this seems like an anomaly, because the desserts are truly wonderful as I saw other customers also found. The girl who worked the shift when I used to go in -- I had gotten her name but have forgotten it now -- was so sweet and good at her job! If you have allergies or restrictions, like gluten or dairy free, this bakery is very accommodating and a must-try; but even otherwise this bakery is worth going out of your way to try!

Sad excuse for cupcakes with "extra" frosting. They have less than the business owner photo with…read morethe regular amount of frosting some years ago. She claimed they had extra frosting because they had more than what was in the case, which was literally a star dot of frosting. I can't believe how downhill the cupcakes have gone since they bought out Cupcake Station. Cupcake Station would be ashamed of what this has become. The cupcakes were a melted mess. Girl at the counter claimed that she could not give us extra frosting or a refund. I took them because I had used my birthday reward and she couldn't answer whether I would get that back, but I shouldn't have because I'm not gonna eat those or show them to anyone else. They should be embarrassed to put out products like that. If you are going to have only one person working, they should have the knowledge and authority to do everything that comes with running a store. I'm done with this place. $40 for that!!

There's plenty of parking but it does get quite busy on Saturday morning/noon. The place is pretty narrow and small. The offerings are nice but there were not many flaky pastries. I'm used to the huge glass case varieties from Tous les jours or Paris Baguette and love the flaky pastries or novelties the best! Yoon's was bread and bun heavy and their prices overall were higher (if you can believe it!). I did try this Cloud cake $6.50 that was out of this world good but the strawberry jam part was too sweet. The hazelnut cream sandwich loaf (3 small servings) was so beans good with my favorite type of cream that only Asian bakeries can get right! My only complaint is more cream, please!

I saw an ad for a Grain Latte (mi-su-ga-ru) and was so curious how it would taste. I haven't noticed it anywhere else (other Korean bakeries), so had to make a trip just for the drink, along with their other goodies. Omg, from the first sip, I was transported back to my childhood. I used to drink the multigrain drink that would come in powder form. But this drink was elevated by the espresso. What a perfect combo! Now this latte isn't sweet, so if you are looking for sweet, this won't be the drink for you. I had my hubs try it out and said he could taste espresso with an aftertaste of the grains- not something he would order, himself. But I'm definitely going to! He ordered the pistachio latte and I could tell it's very different from other ps's I've had from Monday Coffee Club or from Yemeni coffee houses. It definitely has that light, Korean, nutty taste that isn't strong. The baked goodie, I'm happy to say, has expanded and they offer so much more than they did since my last review. They've added a few nice tables and chairs, so you don't have to leave to enjoy your pastries or coffee, unless there's no spots. Highly recommend Y if you enjoy desserts that's not too sweet.
