There is free parking in the structure at the Source. Went on a Wednesday for a group lunch. The place was very busy and they only had two people working the front and the kitchen. They were very transparent about imbeing short staffed and worked soo hard that despite giving an overestimate of how long it was going to take to get our drinks and food, they actually beat their estimate md time and were actually quite timely. Shout out to that team! Also customer service was amazing and that really gets a 10/10. They served a drink incorrectly; I took a sip assuming it was really my drink. They corrected the error by making me the drink I actually ordered and remade the drink they gave me for the correct patron. Awesome!! I enjoyed my souffle pancake. It was light and fruity. Would def come again. I spilled my ube latte outside before i entered my car so I can't speak to that. Had a sip of a coconut one which was delicious. I knocked down a star only because it felt a little sticky. The owner Jina, is the sweetest and all of the employees that were there that day were super nice, attentive and friendly. Felicia was very helpful and made us feel welcomed. I love everything about this place, the décor is elegant and the atmosphere of this place is amazing and clean. This restaurant is an excellent place to grab a cup of coffee or tea, have brunch, or to grab something sweet! I tried their Americano, yummy. My husband and I also ordered the Smoked Salmon Benedict and our friends ordered the Ube Waffles topped with Ube ice cream. I took a bite and it was so good! The presentation of their food is on point and the items on their menu are well priced and even good enough to share. Hi Next time I would like to try the afternoon tea which is $25 per person and includes: Macarons, sweet pastries, mini croissant cake with jam and cream, egg and cucumber finger sandwiches, ham and cheese croissant sandwiches and smoked salmon crostini, and fresh fruit. I love Basilur with all my heart. Their English breakfast milk tea is very smooth and full of flavor. I prefer a strong milk tea which basilur delivers perfectly. Returning recently from a trip to Japan, I came here primarily for the Souffle Pancakes to curb my addiction for these fluffy treats of glory, however, the Salmon Benedict was delicious as well. Lo and behold I've found a new breakfast spot to add to my list of favorites in the LA/OC area. The Custard Souffle Pancakes were extremely satisying. The pancakes were very fluffy and moist and the subtly sweet, creamy topping was the perfect combination. Magnificence in every bite. The Salmon Benedict was everything you would expect from this dish. The smoked salmon paired with the hollandaise, perfectly cooked egg and avocado balanced all of the savory flavors very well. As for the tea, I had the Earl Grey Milk Tea and that was very soothing. No flavors were too pronounced so it was an ideal taste to complement the wonderful breakfast. The location is on the first floor in the relatively new venue of "The Source" in Buena Park. Orders are made at the counter, you're given an order number and then you seat yourself. This place is located at the Source OC so there is a large parking garage with free parking, which is convenient! I came here for breakfast on a Saturday and it was quite packed around 10am but not packed enough to warrant a line. The ambience inside is nice and the cafe itself is super cute and reminds me of the one I went to in Korea. There's ample seating available. We found a small table for 2 sit at and ordered at the counter. The menu here definitely centers around the souffle pancakes. Instead of opting for your traditional souffle pancake, I decided to try the souffle pancake eggs benedict, which consisted of 2 pancakes with bacon in between topped with 2 poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. I thought this was unique and super delicious! I loved the consistency of the souffle panckae because it was very soft but not overly mushy. However, it did come out a little on the cold side instead of hot which is why I am docking a star. Keep in mind all the souffle items also take 20 minutes to prepare. I also ordered the ube latte and the ube waffle. I LOVED the ube latte and thought it was the best ube latte I've had - aesthetics and taste. I would come back again purely for this drink. The ube latte came with fruits and a scoop of ube ice cream and I liked the ice cream but I felt like I was missing some ube syrup or whipped cream. I've had this place bookmarked for the longest time and finally got to try it. We came here mainly to try the soufflé pancakes and they were a little disappointing. There is a parking structure connected to it with plenty of parking available. We called the day before to reserve a table for Sunday brunch. When we got there, no table was reserved. The menu is not very extensive and also a little limited right now so not all soufflé pancake flavors are available. I was disappointed in the soufflé pancakes because they were flat and didn't seem to be fully cooked - not big and fluffy like other places I've been to. The custard cream was good and less sweet. The pancakes were fluffy, soft, and creamy. But the portions were huge. Honestly because of my big sweet tooth I didn't find these pancakes to be overwhelmingly sweet but some people might disagree haha. The iced americano was super refreshing and really balanced out the pancakes well. However I got the vanilla latte which did not have the same effect and just made me feel heavier.
