This is the second time I've been and it did not disappoint! Everything is made from scratch and is absolutely delicious! The first time I had the cucumber cooler to drink and ate potato skins which are made with chorizo and the Mac attack add pulled pork and bourbon onions. Tonight I had the strawberry basil lemonade and my friend had a house made diet cola. We shared the spicy smoked Hawaiian pizza, truffle fries, and Mac attack add fried chicken tossed in buffalo sauce. Our first course took a little long and the manager came out to apologise and give us some compensation. We didn't complain or anything, so I really appreciate proactive service like that. If you like whiskey blackberry bourbon lemonade on a hot day hits the spot. The sweet one though, Toasted Pecan whiskey sour tastes like butter scotch juice. Not a fave. Chicken biscuit and gravy is unique. They can use more seasoning on the sauce. I would skip the chilenquila,nachos are too soggy under the pork. Cinnamon French toast crunch can feed the whole table and is worth going just to have that when you have a sweet tooth. Service was great both waiter ans bartender took great care of us. read more

My boyfriend and I came here last night for dinner and it was AMAZING! Our server, Sebastian, was super sweet and gave us recommendations on what to order since it was our first time coming here. The deviled eggs, hummus and tots were TO DIE FOR!!! My boyfriend said that the Smoked Brisket Sandwich was delicious and Sebastian recommended the Apple Cobbler Bread Pudding for dessert and it literally tasted like heaven in my mouth. Service was great, and the servers were friendly. My shrimp and grits were good--not amazing, but enjoyable enough that I'd eat them again. My child's chicken tenders were dry, and the fries were cold, so he didn't want to eat them. The bottomless drinks were a nice perk, though the sangria was just okay. We had a fantastic lunch here. They serve brunch on the weekend, but the menu also has salads and sandwiches and the like if you want more of a lunch than a breakfast. There were a number of things on the menu that appealed including their brisket/short rib burgers and their steak salad. But after all, I wound up ordering from the breakfast part of the menu. We sat at the outside bar as it was a lovely -- cool, but sunny day. Our server Heather was a delight -- with personality plus. I ordered their chicken n waffles. It came with four nice sized pieces of lightly battered, slightly spicy, buttermilk fried chicken along with two thick pieces of yummy candied bacon. The waffle underneath was light and fluffy. Along side was a small ramekin of bacon butter and a mini pitcher of bourbon maple syrup (I couldn't taste the bourbon -- which was fine with me). It all was delicious. I ate half (and took the other part home for breakfast the next day). My husband ordered the Cuban Eggs Benedict -- two extra large poached eggs, ham, roast pork, and cheese on top of Cuban bread that was all topped with Hollandaise sauce. The side potatoes were great, too, -- small fried smashed whole baby potatoes. He said he'd order this dish again. And took half home for breakfast, too. Right now they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays due to staff shortages. The other days they are open for dinner -- with added brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. This place is a definite keeper. Can't believe they've been here this long -- and this was only our first time here -- but they had closed intermittently (due to COVID) in the recent past. Drinks were good - I ordered the Agave Fizz (anything with Prosecco is a must for me) the hubby ordered his usual Old fashion and 3 drinks later - It's safe to say he enjoyed them! Batch Chicken wings w/ Buffalo sauce - 7/10 Buffalo sauce was good- the chicken wings were small Main dishes - My girls ordered the Mac Attack w/ chicken - 6/10 the flavor was good - they made a mistake and didn't read correctly because they thought they were ordering Mac & cheese and it was a gnocchi dish in Mac & cheese style. Gnocchi is super filling and only a few can be eaten until you start actually feeling like a gnocchi! Chicken & Waffles w/ bourbon syrup - 5/10 Ehh ... I did not really enjoy this dish. It was okay- honestly nothing great about it and the bourbon syrup is definitely a unique one. The bacon was delicious though! Batch Attack Burger 8/10 The flavors of this burger was great! Super juicy and very messy to eat!! The fries were delicious!!! This was my hubby's dish but I couldn't stop stealing his fries!! Yes they were that good! An absolute must try! Dessert- Peanut butter & chocolate crème brulee- 4/10 Yikesss - it sounded good but was a major miss with my daughter she said it is good enough to have a few bites of but that's about it. Nothing crème brûlée about this dish as it was all peanut butter and a chocolate sauce on top. Peacan Chocolate Chunk Blondie- 6/10 good, indulging and very filling. My overall take of this place - definitely a great spot to have some drinks and appetizers, listen to some music or watch some sports. read more

This place had a great vibe on a Saturday night. It was pretty busy and had a 45 minute wait, but we were able to get a seat right away at the outdoor bar. Service was pretty slow, but everything we got to eat and drink was really good. My husband and I shared the gnocchi mac attack with fried chicken. It was cheesy and cooked perfectly, although the chicken was lacking spices. The impossible "meatball" hero was super flavorful, it tasted just like meatballs. The fries were seasoned nice and crispy. The cocktail list was pretty great, plenty to choose from. For dessert we had the blondie, which was more like a chocolate chip cookie, it was a good ending to our meal. There's plenty of parking and a lot to do in Delray Marketplace surrounding the restaurant, to make for a nice night out. read more

Reservations are easily accessible via OpenTable. Arrived and table was readily available, greeted by Andrea who was such a doll. Our waitress Dori was sweet and attentive. Food was OK, unfortunately my burger came way undercooked for my liking but after sending back my husband's hangover hash for an undercooked egg I wasn't going to do that to them. Automatic service fee added to check for using credit card regardless of asking customer prior whether it's cash or card. They had a very nice and good value happy hour! Wait staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. Overall excellent value! Outdoor seating was extremely comfortable and relaxing. My family and I had dinner here on a Wednesday night. My only regret is sitting outside because it was hot and buggy, but that was our fault for sitting outside in Florida in July. Service was great. The hostess was very accommodating moving us to a new table to make it easier for my mother in law to sit. She also brought our high chair right away. Our waitress was very friendly and fixed the one food mistake they had right away. I got the Batch Burger, which was fantastic. It was supposed to come with truffle fries, but I was instead brought the regular fries. The waitress fixed this right away. And honestly both types of fries were delicious; however, the truffle fries come with this smoky garlic aioli which was delicious. Also, the pecan-whiskey candied bacon just might have been the best part of my burger. My husband got the bison burger which he also enjoyed. The table also got a regular burger and a salad with chicken, and everything was so good. They also have a happy hour though we didn't partake in drinks this visit. read more

So I took my husband and family to the restaurant on past Sunday which was Fathers Day. As you can see from the above pictures I this was our meal. Now the appetizers were the avocado toast and deviled eggs. I never had avocado toast as my appetizer but I was so happy I did. Avocado toast usually my meal it was smoked and very delicious. Now the deviled eggs were good just needed a pinch of seasoning and I don't mean salt. For the meals I had the Cinnamon French toast Crunch and how I expected to see the meal was it being crunchy. However, I loved the way they made it and my husband and cousin even got some of my item. My husband chose the impossible scramble which he did not care for and stated its should have been cooked more. What can I say about chicken & waffles is they're all the same in my cousin words. First time visiting. Drove up to WPB to visit family who just moved to the area. We were all new to Batch and wow...we were SO impressed with the service and food. We started the afternoon off with the bottomless mimosas and shared a plate of nachos. They were amazing (and filling)! For lunch/brunch, I ordered the Chilaquiles and the rest of my family all ordered the Cuban sandwich. Chilaquiles are one of my favorite brunch plates and this one blew me away. The pork plates the bottom half of the skillet and is really nicely marinated with a BBQ sauces, but it was also topped with amazing Mexican salsa and chips, avocado and fried eggs. It was killer. The rest of my family really loved their sandwiches. To finish the meal, our waiter brought us all a nice gift (bottle opener) and a card for a free drink to encourage us to return. I told myself I'd never go back to Batch after multiple horrible experiences at the one in Fort Lauderdale but the Delray location definitely won me over. The manager Jennifer was amazing so on top of things. Our server Natasha was excellent and so attentive and friendly. When I saw the "Please Seat Yourself" sign I thought I was going to get another bad experience like the one I've had before at the Fort Lauderdale location but I was pleasantly surprised. this is the original Batch Gastro Pub in Delray Market Place. Happy to say the toasted pecan whiskey sour is now included in the happy hour prices. That is why I hadn't been there in a long time. Caution: the tip is included in the bill. They do not tell you that. Noticed my bill was higher than it was supposed to be. When I questioned the waitress she said, oh, the tip is included. Beware. I want to preface this review by saying we had a good experience here a few months ago. So we were happy to go back. We were a party of five. Four adults and my 1 year old who sits in a highchair. I made a reservation for five people. We were seated at a small table for four and before I even sat down, I asked the manager if we could be moved to a larger table as we were five people not four. She told me that they typically do not count a highchair in the party total for seating purposes. I told her this makes no sense. Despite being in a high chair, my child is still a person who takes up table space and eats food and that I really wasn't interested in having a meal with my child sitting right on top of me, sharing a space meant for one person. She told me that there were two large parties and that there were no other tables we could be moved to. It was the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant with my toddler, and we go out with him at least twice a week. Sitting right on top of me, close enough to grab the food off my plate because we had no personal space at all. Our party ended up splitting up, leaving the table with my son immediately after ordering, and as soon as we were done eating because it was so frustrating to be crammed in at this table. I did the correct thing by including my son in the reservation total, as I do at every single restaurant. It makes no sense for a restaurant to completely disregard him as a person taking up space at a table. No other restaurant has ever had an issue with this. If we had not needed a high chair we would've been seated at an appropriate table for 5 adults. Further, my reservation was originally for the following evening (Saturday), but our party switched plans on Thursday to go on Friday instead. When I modified the reservation on Thursday, every single time slot was available on OpenTable for a next day reservation. If the restaurant was so packed by these two big parties that they could not appropriately accommodate us, I should not have been able to make a next day reservation, that's a total mistake on Batch's part. Shortly after making the reservation, I received a voicemail from someone at the restaurant and I called back to speak to them. The employee told me that they were checking in on all their reservations because they were having two large parties and they wanted to tell me that I couldn't guarantee a specific table location in terms of inside/outside and typically not high top or low top, but that I would be guaranteed a low top table due to the high chair, but there was no mention of potentially not having a table big enough to accommodate my party. Not to mention the entire restaurant, both indoors and outdoors is absolutely infested with flies at the moment. It was disgusting. Flies were constantly landing on our plates and drinks. The woman behind us had a fan to steer them away. It seems that all of Delray Marketplace is currently infested with flies, so while I don't solely blame Batch for this, it definitely contributed to our overall displeasure. And on top of all that, we all agreed our food was very mediocre. The burgers were tasteless and our plates were skimpy on the fries. It was the worst experience I have had at a restaurant in a very long time. I was told by my party that the manager came over to apologize at the end of the meal, but I had already left the table with my son. She didn't take anything off the bill or offer us a complementary item so while I appreciate the sentiment, we still paid for a very aggravating and unenjoyable meal. For all of these reasons, we will not be returning. --- I'm editing my review in response to the owners comments. All I did was repeat what your manager said to me verbatim. And clearly you didn't count the high chair in the seating total because we were seated at a 4 top with 5 people. I was never quoted a wait time for another table indoors, I was told there was no other availability when I asked. I was offered a larger table outside, but as previously mentioned, the entire vacant table and area was buzzing with flies. So like any sane person, we denied that offer. You're correct, you didn't have the table to accommodate my party, so Batch should not have accepted my reservation. There was no way to solve the problem because it shouldn't have been created in the first place. I did not "want to be sat immediately", we had a reservation and the other members of my party were already seated before we even arrived. No discussion happened until I saw the table that my party was already sitting at. As stated before, I will never return to Batch, but I don't appreciate the owner implying that I am lying or somehow misunderstanding a situation that he wasn't even present for. read more

On a very quiet night, had to ask 3 people over 15 minutes to put the Panthers game on. Everyone said ok, no one did anything. Not sure what bar doesn't show the local team playoff game and instead has poker and college baseball and doesn't quickly change it for the one group of people who came to watch something. And guys, what's with you constantly being out of some beers? In short, Batch is going downhill from the service to the menu.
