A super cool spot that offers breakfast style food all day long. It's located in a little mini food court hall style out off Lombard in Beaverton. We ordered the chicken fried steak and the Mac Daddy. The chicken fried steak was well cooked and came with mashed potatoes that they put in a waffle maker, which was neat. The Mac Daddy was a mav n cheese type dish that was cooked in a waffle maker giving it the waffle shape. Both I'd the dishes were delicious and the staff were very polite.i would definitely come here again to try some of their other items. read more

Ordered the MVP, monte cristo, and three lollies (sausage, cinnamon, and red velvet). When I read the reviews, a lot of people said that the sausage was amazing and I thought "how can a sausage be that good?" Well I was proven wrong! Probably the best sausage patty I've ever had. Absolutely delicious! For some odd reason, I was craving a monte cristo which is why I ordered from this place. I probably wouldn't get it again. After eating the MVP, this was subpar. Both sandwiches were a bit soggy when it got to me but it doesn't bother me. I know it probably would be better if I ate it fresh there. The cinnamon and red velvet lolly were quite dense, almost cake like. I really liked the cheesecake icing on the red velvet. My favorite has got to be a toss up between the sausage and red velvet lolly. It was a fun meal. read more

The service was great. But my food was given to someone else and I had to wait close to 30 min to get my monte cristo sandwich. People that came after me got their food ate, left and I was still waiting. When I did get my sandwich, the bread was burnt. So I picked at the meat and cheese and ate the hash browns. I was bummed because I've been wanting to try this place. They did apologize twice for the long wait. Not sure that I would go back. My orange creamsicle was refreshing. read more

There were 3 of us who met there for brunch. The total for the 4 items plus 2 drinks and a generous tip came to $79. It took almost an hour before we got our food. 3 of the 4 items we ordered were, for some reason, duplicated leaving us with 7 plates of greasy sub par dishes. My Home Fried Potatoes were terrible and I couldn't finish it. The next day I see in my bank account that Batter Up had charged me an additional $97!! 176 dollars for really bad, greasy food and terrible service. Finally after leaving several VMs, I did get a call back. He was helpful and pleasant and thankfully it was easily rectified. This is why I'm adding a second star. read more

The first time my partner and I came in, we ordered the country fried steak, some mac n cheese balls, and chicken & waffle dish. That time we definitely ate with our eyes and were way over stuffed haha-- still delicious. We visited the second time yesterday and got the Beaverton Restaurant Week for 2019 dish to split: Maple glazed pork belly with home fried potatoes, 2 eggs and a waffle. WOW! It was the perfect amount for us. The pork belly was one of the best we've ever had: very tender and juicy. The syrup that came with it was specially made with the dish and it tasted much lighter than normal syrup, which I thought complimented the more heavy food very well! It's like a miniature food court and I love the shared tables and chairs. You can sit anywhere. The parking is a bit limited, just street parking but I had no trouble finding parking around 9am on a Saturday. Definitely will keep coming back! read more

This meal was AMAZING! The staff were so accommodating and nice setting up for our walk-in 9 top! I couldn't believe how quick everything came out and the quality of everything we ate. The waffle pops are a great idea to taste test a couple different flavors, the pumpkin spice was SO fluffy and soft with crispy edges. The drinks were all better than we even expected as well. Had quite a crowd develop when we were there for an early lunch (it was the first of the three restaurants open at the time). Too many choices that looked yummy, and both savory and sweet options. Love this new spot!! Wide open space, lots of seats, windows and choices for food as well. The sides of the venue can also open up for fresh air to a patio with not a lot of road traffic. And the food here was delicious. The thyme infused maple syrup was interesting but just the right balance of flavors to get just a hint of thyme but not be overpowered by it. We decided to share the MVP which had a quarter pound of sausage, egg, and cheese between two waffles. We were both worried it would be too heavy and filling, so we opted to split one... but it wasn't heavy at all. Waffles were crispy and airy, filling was just enough... and I wish we had gotten two to try instead... I kept thinking of other ones I wanted to try! My Wife and I went to Portland to take our daughter to the Zoo, we we're running late but decided to stop in for a quick breakfast. The woman that took our order was polite and it was pretty busy, we had to ask for our table to be bussed and it was wiped down with a wet rag that was used to wipe 3 other tables before ours, ok whatever... Now we sit and wait 25 minutes before I finally had to ask when we would get our food as 25 minutes is a long wait for some waffles and eggs, I was then informed it was going to be at least another 20 minutes.... No warning from the lady that took our order nothing so we were expected to wait 45 minutes before even receiving our food! I had to request a refund as we were on a time crunch which they accommodated but the man that gave the refund was rude and all he could say was "It gets busy on the weekends" if you are in any kind of a rush definitely steer clear!! read more

The food is delicious! My husband ordered the chicken and waffles, my daughter ordered a sausage egg sandwich and I ordered flavored waffles. Our food was piping hot, and quick. The spacing between tables was great (no bumping into someone to pull your chair out) and it wasn't super busy. The people were really friendly and let us take our time when ordering. Both the waffle sandwich and Lolly Waffles were good! The cinnamon lolly was my favorite, it was basically the center of a cinnamon roll but on a stick. The red velvet was a nice cake on a stick. The pizza one was just a larger mozzarella stick with a marinara dipping sauce. The waffle for the MVP sandwich was fluffy and soft which I really liked. The only negative part was the menu picture was deceiving; we had one patty versus two like the picture. The hash browns were different and delicious. I couldn't tell what kind of extra seasoning was used. Nice casual food stall located underneath an apartment complex with open seating. I would come back again to try other items on the menu. Tried Batter Up today. Great selection of breakfast food that is tied into waffles. The location is small but plenty of inside and outdoor seating. Kid/family friendly. I had the fielders choice, comes with a large variety of choices from eggs, bacon. Sausage, hash browns, ham and of course waffle or French toast. They have interesting treats like fried Mac and cheese balls. Not for me but for those that love Mac and cheese go for it. I would suggest that you come early as it picked up quickly after 9am. Well worth the stop , plus there is a bar right next to it in the same building so you get yourself a Bloody Mary as well. Be carful where you park check all signs or you might get towed. read more

Okay, so I am very new to Oregon and I am a breakfast fanatic. Let me just go ahead and tell you that this is the place you want breakfast at! Okay their spin on a Cornish (we all ate them for breakfast with syrup as a kid) ITS WITH A FREAKING WAFFLE instead of the cornmeal used for the corndog and it's beyond delicious. I also got the country fried steak, with eggs, and French toast! When I tell you that this is the freshest meal I have ever had in my life!! wow! This is mad with fresh ingredients and love. Imagine my happiness when Cheryl D. Wrote a 5 star review of this waffle truck on the west side. Amen. Dragged my friend there today around noon. No line. Empty clean picnic table under an awning. Armed with espresso purchased elsewhere we settled on an Ace ( bacon, egg, cheese, syrup) and a Monte cristo ( ham, turkey, Swiss, strawberry jam) $6.50 each. What a deal. And went halfsies. Both were really flavorful. Perfectly cooked. Honest. And ready lickety split after ordering, too. I liked the wafting scent of laundry soap from the laundromat across the way too. Added to the ambience. The lady explained their bacon sausage to me ( I asked what it was made out of). Ponderosa Provisions grinds pork and bacon for them to produce it. Will have to try that next time. The man gave us a punch card. Rainy days, he told us, are two punch days. Cool. Soon the hot dog place next door will open and their truck says espresso so maybe we can access that there when we are getting our waffles here. I think you ought to try them.
