I recently had a CMR/BMR performed on my 3rd Gen Tacoma at this shop. While I'm glad the job is finally complete, I was quite disappointed with the quality of the work and the lack of attention to detail. A few issues I noticed: - The OEM plates were not fully or cleanly removed (see image). - A random Phillips-head screw that does not belong on the truck was installed. It appears to be barely holding something in place and does not look secure at all. -The front body mounts were completely forgotten and not reinstalled (although this was caught before I drove away). - The hood was left unlatched. - Both engine splash guards were damaged during the rushed reinstallation of the front body mounts. - The welds look unprofessional and do not reflect the cost of the work. For a $1,300 job, I expected much cleaner and more professional workmanship. The number of oversights made the final result feel rushed, which was especially disappointing considering the shop had my truck for two full days and I picked it up on the third day. I would have expected more attention to detail and a thorough final inspection before the vehicle was returned. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Ordered a 3.5 inch BDS lift kit for my 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500 and only got partial of the lift kit. They didn't bother to leave me a note or send a email saying that I was only going to get partial of the lift kit. I took what i thought was the complete lift kit to the shop to have the truck worked on. Shop called me telling me that I was missing the upper control arms and some other hard wear. I had to pay more for the control arms and the missing hard wear somewhere else in order to finish the lift kit job on my truck. I called Battle Born to cancel or refund me the missing control arms. It has been two weeks since I last contacted them regarding my refund and nothing. Still have the partial of the lift kit with me. On top of that one of there employees was giving me what I felt was attitude. Customer service rep on the other hand was nice though. I just want my partial refund. Great tire and suspension shop that competes with the best and wins on component prices and installation costs. Wes got me in there with in a week and had A full rear Icon suspension build out w/ "U" bolt flip on my 08 OC-TO Tacoma TRD off road (4X4) including front coil over adjustment & aliment etc. done the next day. Also replaced steering rack and it is driving smooth and straight again. The only issue keeping this from being a full 5 star review was the steering wheel just barely off center 3-4 degrees after rack install. I'm absolutely sure they will make this incremental adjustment next time I'm in there. In fact they will probably call me to get it done. As a former Toyota LandCruser Assn. Vice President who has had his head in a ton of off road shops over the last 30 years I can state that Battle Born Off Road is right up there with the best of them. Had a bad install job on some suspension parts and now having to pay to take it to another shop to get it fixed. The other shop got under the car and showed me the issues with the install. If you want to pay $1400 for the worst, carefree installation you've ever had come on down! Had $4,000 Kings installed and JP scratched the hell out of them, literally banged every corner he could just getting them in there. Showed them photos and they didn't really care. On top of that he clamped down on the reservoir logo that is heat treated from the factory. Dented it in and then didn't tell me about it. Once I complained about that and showed them photos the next day they replaced the logo for me but literally just slapped a new one on there and called it a day. It doesn't look the same, feel the same it literally looks like you can just grab a corner and pull it off, definitely not how it looked before they damaged it and it will honestly never look the same. They also didn't really care. Everything with them is just an oops our bad type of deal. Zero accountability. When I showed up my fogs weren't even installed and nobody knew what was going on. The level of awareness from everyone there is just nonexistent. The owner Chaz just walks around making IG videos all day and doesn't even know that his employees are cutting corners. Or maybe he doesn't care either, probably. My rear leaf pack was put together in the most lazy way possible by a different guy who needs a chair to sit down in while he works who apparently they're trying to fire because he works slow (of course I got that guy lol). Plastic trim that was cut was cut crooked and shock orientation in the rear had to be adjusted. Also the famous BBO body mount chop that they do sucks, their welded plate doesn't even cover the entire section and leaves a gap exposed. Brake lines were not clipped back into their correct spots and left dangling, bolts were not marked etc. Even asked them to keep the King boxes with the custom molded padding it comes with (so I can use the boxes later to ship the shocks for rebuild from Accutune) and they even failed to do that by giving me empty boxes. The cherry on top of all of this is that they don't even do alignments in house. So after installing new parts (that they've damaged) they drive it the few blocks away to AArrow Alignment (probably rubbing and causing more damage along the way) for them to align the vehicle when they get around to it...yeah when they feel like it. So your truck sits there for a few days is what that can mean. You don't get a print out from them showing your alignment specs, nothing. They don't even test drive it. BBO test drives it and they literally will just say it's good to go to get you out of there. Arrow aligned my truck 4 times and every time they said it was good you wouldn't make it one block away before you realized it was not good. They tried to say that Buddy himself did it and it was worse than before. Nobody suggested that maybe they sold me some bad tires that had a radial pull or anything just kept sending me back to arrow which meant I wouldn't have a truck for 3-4 days at a time. We did that 4 times... Alex the sales rep over there seemed solid at first but honestly I think he was just covering for the bum work they did. A nice sales rep means nothing when the guys in the back don't care. So yeah, if you want to pay $1400 for installation on parts by guys who are going to do it in the laziest most sloppy way possible then this is your shop. If you value your time and money like I do then do yourself a favor and avoid this shop at all costs. read more

If you are looking for any modifications to your vehicle this place is it! Trevor was able to help me stay within and even under my budget for my trucks suspension upgrade. I first checked there website and spoke with him on chat shortly after I was able to explain to him what I was looking for and he sent me a couple of options to pick from. It's definitely a reliable shop that isn't here just trying to screw people over on prices.It felt like this shop was mostly trying to help the client rather then make a bunch of money off them. (I had a couple shops before this one not even want to help me because I had a low budget) He was able to get my parts within a week and my truck in the shop in two. Took them about 3 days to finish my Tacoma. I ended up getting bilstein 5100 front 2.5inch shocks, and 5160 bilstein with add leaf icon 1.5 in the rear. So to me. When it comes to a service type company. Customer service should be keen into getting a customer into the door. First and foremost. Then from there offer other things and so forth and most importantly..... Be friendly and ask the customer if they need help with other things. With that said.... Let me explain my experience. Let's just say I never made it in the door. Because of the lackluster customer service help I got through one of there sales rep online. Or just don't know how to answer questions. They have a spring sale going on for the boy mont chop. So I asked questions. How much is it? How much is it if I already own the plate to weld on? No reply... So an hour later I asked if they are open on weekends and if so can I schedule an appointment? And they said the also had so option upgrades like gussets for the frame and rears. So I asked about that and how much? Later in the day he replied back with a simple "$160" Seriously? He only answered 1 of the questions. I later replied back and asked him about the other questions and the pricing for everything else? His reply later that evening. "$160 without plate and $190 if we supply it" At that point he already lost my interest. He couldn't take 2 minutes to answer my questions. Lock me in with pricing. If you're looking for a shop to do some work on your vehicle, I highly recommend Battle Born Offroad. I took in a set of rock lights I had purchased on Amazon. I miss calculated the amount of wire extensions needed to complete the job. The owner ordered the extensions for me and had them to the shop in less than 24hrs. The tech who installed the set of lights did a perfect, professional job of placing the lights for optimal lighting , and tucked the wires, he even walked me through the app set up to operate the lights. Their work areas, showroom, and even restrooms are clean. This shows me they take great pride in their work. While waiting for my truck to get done, I was able to see some of their other builds, such as Razor off road ATVs, Broncos, Rams, Hummers, Jeeps, and 4 Runners just to name a-few. Absolutely horrible. The owner likes to post deals on FB Marketplace, confirms you have the item or deal and say they will send a quote via email, and then ghosts you. Would not recommend letting anyone from this company touch your vehicle. The work they did previously was ok. Not great, but ok. I was sold a "full" skid plate set, but it didn't include the gas tank? How is that FULL? They were conveniently located, but now I will drive all the way across town, or across the state, to someone I trust to work on my vehicle and with a company that keeps its promises. Buyer beware! As soon as I posted this review, they suddenly reached out saying they "had that deal for me" but the fact that I had to post this to get them to response, speaks to the kind of business this is. The owner was excellent when I was looking to purchase a lift and tires for my F450. Answered all my questions and gave me a great price on everything. Then I got all my parts delivered and found out that they sent me the wrong Carli track bar. Also one of my 6 tires wouldn't balance. This is where I found out that their customer service sucks. I both messaged and emailed them several times with no response. A few weeks later they sent me an email saying that I need to ship back the bad tire and then they would send me a new one. Then I asked them if I could pay them for a new tire and then they could refund me when they receive the bad tire back at there store. I also asked if they could send me the proper track bar and return the one they sent me. NO RESPONSE. I sent another several emails with no response. They ghosted me. As a business owner myself I am beside myself as to how a company can stay in business with such horrible customer service. read more

The customer service stops as soon as your credit card clears on the parts order. I went with a lift kit, coilovers, and a set of UCA's. Shop said it was a two day job.. 7 days and 1 rental car later I was able to pick up my truck. After the project was complete, I had a question about an inconsistency with the agreed upon build and I was immediatly ghosted. Your money is better off elsewhere. read more

These guys were great and knowledgeable about off-road vehicles. I needed to get an ECGS bushing installed on my Tacoma and they got everything handled from that point at a respectable price. Keep in mind they were one of two shops in Vegas that I had contacted to do that job. Every other shop I contacted especially on Yelp did not provide this service. Just a note, I spoke with the staff and they said they did not directly manage this page so I messaged them on Facebook. Just wanted to post a review for these guys since they provide quality work.
