Hired this company for local move. Carlos and two other guys were my movers. I arranged my moving on July 30th 9AM, but Carlos rescheduled to 3pm. Then he showed up 6:30pm on July 30th. Then his crew were not able to move every items that they supported to move b/c he brought a small truck. Then he asking $350 for a small piano. He refused to move the piano to the living room (despite it is included in the piano moving fee), and my washer and dryer to the second floor. He promised to show up tomorrow (July 31st) at 3pm to move the reset of my stuff and finish up everything. On July31st, he didn't pick up the phone until 6pm and told me that he will show up by 7pm. Then he showed up 8:30pm. Then he refused to move my stuff and left. July 31st was my last day to leave and clean the house. I need to reschedule many stuff on Friday night. Despite my desperate situation, he just drove away with his guys leaving full of stuff behind. Then told me he would show up at 8am on Aug 1st. On Aug 1st 8am, he then as predicted didn't show up and didn't pick up the my phone call. I needed to hire others to finish the rest. On Aug 2nd I called and let him know that he missed two important items: 4 mattress supporting rods and a small GPU computer. He never called me back regarding these two missing items and never said sorry for what he had done. I needed to shop another bed frame and computer. His rate is $170/h (3 guys) with travel. It is never the cheap rate. He does promise speedy moving, but his crews were slow and not so careful of items. Lack of details, Late and no responses. Very much unprofessional, irresponsible and incompetent. Avoid this company at all cost. DO NOT HIRE HIS COMPANY FOR YOUR MOVE!!! PS. I have sent a certified mail to its PO Box that was written on the receipt, and it came (8/25/2020) back due to closure of the mail box. Again this business is bogus. read more

One of my good friends recommended this moving company to me, after having a very difficult time locating a reasonably priced mover. I called them and was able to speak to someone right away regarding my upcoming move. The customer service was phenomenal from beginning to the end of my move. I was able to get a free quote over the phone with precise details of what their services offer. I really appreciate Carlos & Nes in accommodating our move into their schedule on such short notice. As my friend mentioned they did take excellent care of my furniture and belongings, we were very impressed with how each piece was moved and packed into their truck. If you are planning a move, and you are considering Armando Moving who seems to be located on Toyon Road, in Burlingame, I would choose another company without question! They wrap your furnishings, in plastic and feel that is appropriate. It is not. I had damage to my Plasma Screen and other pieces. When asked for relief with the little insurance that came with the move, Armando became abusive with threatening comments about me and where I live. I can not receive any minor compensation, through his inspectionand insurance, unless I need a Police officer to be with me if he decides to check my claims as per the Public Utility Commision requirements, due to his threats. In addition, although his helpers were cordial, they are very slow. Took Ten hours to move me in from Burlingame to Palo Alto. And I had to help~! I don't yelp and I created an account to talk about hands down, the best moving experience I have ever had. If you live in the Bay Area, you've probably moved a few times. Ness & Carlos showed up on time promptly at 9am with more blankets than I've ever seen. The blanketed and shrinkwrapped the staircase, ALL of my furniture, EVEN THE GROUND WHERE THEY WERE WALKING INSIDE OF MY HOUSE/APARTMENT. They were quick, extremely friendly, incredibly gracious and had great attitudes. Price was completely fair and less than apps like Lugg etc. I wish I had these guys for my previous moves, and will be using them for every single one moving forward. I had hired Bay Area's Best Relocation Services back in October through Angie's list to move a free piano from Campbell to San Jose. They did an amazing job of wrapping the piano with sheets, moved the piano making sure of no property damage, Strapped the piano to the truck n safely drop it in my garage. After refinishing the piano i decided to call them back as they did a great job. This time it was even meticulous. They wrapped it in a blanket, saran wrapped it and strapped it to an electric dolly that helped them maneuver the piano step by step all the way to 3rd floor. They guys again did a great job taking care of the piano and my home.! definitely calling them again if i move anything! Thank you Carlos and friend.! read more

Bay area relocation came through for me in the clutch. I had a moving appointment set up with another company and they stood me up. I was so stressed out because it was the last day I had to move out. I call a few moving company out of desperation to see if i could book an emergency appointment for that day. I had no luck until I reached BABRS. Carlos assured that his crew would be out within the hour and to my surprise they were. The move went smoothly. I hired Bay Area Best Relocation Services for a 2 bedroom move last month. This was my first time getting professional movers so I did a lot of research and ended up going with Carlos and his team. Throughout the whole process, from me being a pain on the phone to setting up the furniture in the new apartment, they absolutely killed it. I was looking out for movers and obviously didnt want to go with the BRANDED one's whose charges exorbitant so turned to YELP and found Ness and his team who had very good reviews and called them up. Highly Professional and they try to do it faster (not slower like others who try to increase the hour count). They didn't even spend time or took a break during lunch hours, I was so pleased with their work that I had to request them to take a break. Very friendly and trust able. Armando and his crew were very ethical, nice and professional in moving my studio. I had about 35 boxes, 6 huge plastic containers, queen bed with mattress, ottoman , rugs,lamp and etc. I was expecting the job to be done in 2 hours but for some reason it took 3 hours exact. I liked the service because him and his crew were nice, no talking they moved things fast. They shrink wrapped my big picture frame , my bed and the mattress. They even unassembled my bed. Gumba Carlos told me they could squeeze in my piano move on Saturday between 3 and 4 PM. My Piano is a 1915 Baldwin Player piano. It weighs in at a hefty 375 pounds. Around 2 PM Carlos sent me a text saying that they could make it on time. They were at the pickup site at 3:30 PM. They got the beast out of the house and into the truck. A bit later it arrived at my house. Carlos looked at my curved stairs leading up to the house and managed a way of negotiating them and get the piano in the house and in place. They handled all the packing, loading, unloading and even helped with the arrangement of our furniture.. They were very helpful and patient with my wife and I. Nes saved the day for our company! We had shipped some furniture to a customer in the area and were having some issues getting the delivery done. I called Nes and he was able to take over the delivery from the previous company and get our products moved into our customers home and left us with a very happy customer! Super efficient, very fast, great service. We had lots of big furniture on a three floor walkup with very little space to move. They wrapped up everything and there were no issues. On the other side we had two flights to get up. They did our whole large 2bd / 2ba place in 5 hours. Not sure why they show up as expensive as I found them to be very reasonable and very efficient. Great moving company. No stress. Highly recommend it. We moved with Carlos and his associates from Palo Alto to SF. Carlos' group was experienced, fast, and professional.
