We've been coming here, since about a week after they opened. We've watched the place gain more and more customers and rightfully so. The burger is exceptional. I like my cheese burger with crispy bacon. They do that! Yea! Hubby gets the Swiss 'Shroom Burger, Chicken Caesar Salad and/or the Crawfish Étouffée (the étouffe is Louisiana *savory*, not Cajun spicy). Savory is what we like and it is wonderful. My parents like the Catfish, Gumbo and Crawfish Étouffée. They stay open until 9pm, which is great for picking up a bite after work, and they are happy for you to call your order in, and take it out! Tried bayou grill for the first time yesterday for lunch with my mom, and we enjoyed our burgers very much! We both had cheeseburgers, I had sweet potato fries and my mom had the cajun fries. The burger was very tasty, juicy and the bun was like a sweet sourdough bun! I really hope this place makes it, Pearland doesn't need more fast food places and bayou grill is a great alternative to the food options in the area where it's located in Pearland. The attention to detail is in every ingredient and cooking decision. Don't bother with the cheese. It adds nothing. Samples of the fried catfish were brought to the table and they were cooked to perfection!! We ordered our drinks, I noticed they were pouring my Diet Coke out of a bottle, I much rather have a fountain drink but ok we ordered our food and everything came out in a timely fashion. Top 3 burger place in All Houston area, you gotta try these guys out! Meat is tender and marinated then cooked to perfection on a flat top, buns are amazing and all patties are hand pressed! Also have had breakfast here and is excellent. They give free samples away daily so you can try other items and the gumbo and fried catfish are both awesome . Stopped in for late breakfast on a Sat late morning. They started us off with a sample of the fried catfish. It was fried hard and was very tasty. However, the rest of the food was not as good. I got the Bayou Starter - eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast. The eggs were super salty. The bacon was crust - yummy. Hubby got the waffle and wings. He said the wings weren't seasoned as well as the fish was and the waffle was too spongy. The kids ordered fruity waffles. They ate those with no complaints. I will say that we ordered our food at the same time and before another table. They brought out most of our food but we were missing my daughter's waffles. I asked and he stated they were coming. They then proceeded to serve another tables food. Close to five min went by and I had to ask about her waffles again. Overall - not impressed with the breakfast selection. read more

I attended feb 2017 they have crawfish decent size and seasoned good it was 5.99/lb . My daughter had grilled shrimp delicious. Her meal was the shrimp and 2 sides 9.99.
