This restaurant is located in the Cantera Mall, inside Nordstrom store ( second floor). GPS had taken me to PF Chang's so I had given up on going. So, how did I find it, you ask ? As I walked into Nordstrom I saw a sign of The restaurant located on the 2nd floor. I made my way to this nice quaint restaurant. I ordered a Golden Hour mocktail, delicious with pineapple flavor. I ordered the soup of the day ( baked potatoe soup). Taste was flavorful . Loved it! I also ordered the Salmon nacoise salad. Vibrant flavors and colorful salad. It did not disappoint. Waitress Victoria was very attentive. Establishment was clean and half empty for a Saturday evening. Maybe cause it is located near the clothes. I highly recommend. I also ordered the Crème Brûlée, so stop by and try it.

Came by for lunch while doing some shopping at Nordstrom and this is a definitely a semi hidden gem at La cantera! The food was all excellent, you can tell the food was freshly made and was delicious as well. I loved that there wasn't a huge wait for a table either and the service was fantastic as well. My sister and I ordered two plates to share and we loved that they split the meal into different plates as well. Overall a great place to grab lunch while shopping and I want to go back. The Cesar salad was the best I've had and the pasta was delicious as well.

Went to Bazille for a girls' lunch and it was delicious! Our waitress was super nice and very attentive! I ordered the mushroom ravioli and a caesar salad, which were both so good! My new favorite pasta dish! The location and ambiance is perfect for quick lunch or dinner while shopping.

Four of us and we basically had everything. Salmon, Fish & Chips, Mushroom Ravioli, calamari, artichoke dip, parm bread, tomato soup, desert...pretty much the menu. Rebecca our server was helpful and the manager was attentive. It was just a great experience. Stop for a sandwich, salad, or an appetizer - you wont be disappointed. PS. Creme Brûlée was my favorite desert

Defintely a place to try at La Cantera Mall in San Antonio. This place is tucked in on the second floor of Nordstrom's and is definitely a hidden gem. I had the ceaser salad which was well made and delicious and followed it with a Margheriti Pizza. Picture below is also the turkey and avocado club. All of it was delish! The service was quick and the ambiance was such a cool vibe!! Who doesn't love a little food with a side of shopping!

This place is one of my go to restaurants for tomato basil soup. This time we tried the prime rib sandwich with added truffle Parmesan fries and they nicely split it since we were sharing it. It is a nice place to get a bite to eat in between shopping or take a quick meeting. Service is excellent. Ambiance is nice and the view of fiesta Texas is a plus.

Must go!!! Came on a Saturday lunch hour when we got hungry after a morning at La cantera. Located inside Nordstrom, kind of hidden away from the public. Open seating arrangement with a huge window view. The kitchen was quick, but the food coming out absolutely smacked. Service for us was a college student who was very laid back but kind. She was doing her best! Ordered appetizers and two entrees, with tip it's around a $60+ meal. Slightly pricey for a lunch, but it was delicious! Despite the entree flair, the attire is VERY laid back. Everyone around us was in t-shirts and casual clothing, the seating and tables are also standard.

Always been curious to try out Bazille because I like shopping at Nordstrom and its conveniently there. Although I did not eat, I did order a cocktail. My waiter recommended the Amelia cocktail which is on their older cocktail menu and he didn't realize it had been taken off but was happy to make it regardless and I'm so happy he did. It had gin, blackberry/raspberry, lemon and simple syrup, YUM! It was a fantastic cocktail hands down one of the best I've had around San Antonio. The restaurant smelled really good but unfortunately, I did not have time to eat. Very excited to try food on my next visit. FYI- there are big windows which you can look out of. It adds a nice ambiance to your experience. Shopping, food and drinks? That might be the perfect trifecta!

12/22/22 First off, we have never been to a Nordstrom. Our first visit is very good. We went to buy a Christmas fragrance for me. Of course they have it. We saw that the store has a restaurant on the second floor. We expected just a simple place offering burgers and salads. Note: they also have a coffee bar on the ground level. Oh no! They offer these and much more. You an have a bottle of Cliquot champagne for $60. This is a bargain price for a restaurant. Also steaks, halibut, salmon, soups, various salads, spinach artichoke dip, etc. just a ton do different food items and drinks. There is a separate drink menu. The husband had the prime rib dip and I had the halibut. Both very good. Large size sandwich with a side Caesar salad. The halibut is four nice-sized chunks of fish, fries, Cole slaw, bread and butter pickles and a sauce. I prefer cocktail sauce, which they do not have. Service was very good. Attentive and at the ready with drink refills. Go there when at Nordstrom.

If you are shopping and need a quick bite to eat this place is perfect right in Nordstrom. There prices are decent for the quality of food that you get. I wasn't super hungry but the kiddos wanted snack so we ordered the Kung pow Brussel sprouts and a side of fries. The Brussel sprouts was the perfect heat and snack and the fries tasted like they used truffle oil. Both we would recommend. Service was quick.

I always love stopping at Bazille for a mid-shopping meal. It is conveniently located on the 2nd floor in Nordstrom. The staff is always very attentive and the food is good! My go-to meal is the Cilantro Lime salad with a cup of tomato basil soup. Did I mention their drinks are also amazing? The Aperol spritz is a must during the warmer weather months!

We walked in without a reservation, and I really appreciate that they were able to accommodate us with outdoor seating. The patio had a fun, upbeat atmosphere and was a great place to spend the evening. The drinks were generally very well made, once they were prepared correctly. The food, however, was just okay. I had the cheeseburger with an egg, and while it was decent, it wasn't particularly memorable. The standout was definitely the fries, especially paired with the spicy ketchup. Unfortunately, the biggest issue was the service. Since we were seated outside, it felt like our table was forgotten. We sat for at least 15 minutes without proper plates, napkins, or silverware and had to ask multiple times before everyone was taken care of. We never had enough water glasses for the entire table, drink service was slow throughout the meal, and at one point I walked to the bar myself because my Old Fashioned had been made with agave and was far too sweet. I also had to track down our server just to get the check. Overall, I appreciate that they accommodated a large walk-in party, and the atmosphere and drinks were enjoyable. However, the combination of mediocre food and inattentive service left us disappointed. I don't think I'd return, as it felt like our table was simply forgotten once we were seated outside.

Immediately upon walking in I fell in love with the rustic yet elegant decor (those chandeliers tho). My girlfriends and I sat at the bar and enjoyed great service during our entire 3 hour visit there. The cocktail and bites we enjoyed were all delicious. During happy hour there are select cocktail and bites you can enjoy for $7 each. My drink of choice for the evening was the perfectly balanced Berry Smash . I was torn on bites but ended up going with the Happy Hour sliders and the pork belly appetizer from the regular menu. Both were soooo good...particularly the Pork Belly which was a perfect blend of sweet, spicy, and savory. This visit redeemed Haywire in my eyes and I'm looking forward to returning during regular hours to explore more of the menu during dinner service.

First for the atmosphere, it's a really nice environment during the day and most weeknights but weekends it's very loud and lively. Which is fine, but it is advertised as a speakeasy, but I would say its more of a loud bar vibe on weekend evenings. For service, it's generally pretty fast! You can order either at the bar or they can come to you. We usually prefer grabbing a seat if we can and order through a server. Definitely reccomend that but you might have to come a bit earlier if it's a weekend evenings. Servers are usually nice and helpful. In terms of the drinks they are great but I'll say you have to be very specific of what you like. I'm pretty straight forward so usually get a Moscow mule, mojito, or their kiwi express! All are awesome! However, I did ask if they could do a porn star martini. Passion fruit, liqueur, not too hard I thought... but they couldn't make it. I asked if they could just make me something w passion fruit instead and was told I could not. Very odd and usually they will make me a drink if I ask for it. Overall I think this is a fun place to go for a weeknight drink w friends or a bigger crowd for a livelier atmosphere for the weekend. I wouldn't deviate from the menu- they have plenty of options. You'll see us again! Thanks rock and rye!
