Kids meal only $7.95 and comes "ready to eat" for a toddler, in a paper bowl, plastic utensils and chopped nice and small!

Best kids meal on the island. $7.95 - awesome price Served in a child-friendly paper bowl and even includes a Capri Sun and pack of seaweed snacks! Best of all: it's chopped nice and small so, after blowing on it a few times to cool, the dish can be placed directly in front of your kid to start eating! Zero parental effort. We also loved that they brought it quickly, before the "adult" entrees were ready. Thank you BB Bowl for making this tired mom's night so easy and enjoyable! Seafood soft tofu soup, japchae, kimchi bowl, bibimbap are also all incredible.

They make you pay first to eat inside. The service here is not good at all, the people are not attentive and never check up on you if you need anything. This place is sooooo small, barely have room to move Other than that the food is good. Had the spicy beefy soft tofu soup that comes in a very small, hot stone pot served with small 3 sides plate , rice and an egg . Usually Korean place have at least 5 to 10 different sides. I would not go back here instead I'll try somewhere else

I've been coming here for years and it's always been consistent, I'm so happy they were able to stay open during the pandemic. You walk in and order what you'd like and find your own seat, not really a sit down restaurant that requires a server coming to check on you (think of chipotle) and clean up after yourself when you leave. Big fan of the soft tofu soup and bibimbap, both with bulgogi. The nice thing is the meat isn't super sweet as some bulgogi can be, serving sizes are great and usually I'll eat half and save the rest for dinner.

Did anybody say Korean fried chicken? Yes? OMG! The best one I ever had, I think. I got some stuff to go and waited for a few minutes in the store and was able to observe for a bit. Super efficient, clean and friendly. Looks like a family business. The dining space is on the smaller side, but I saw quite a few people come and go to pick up to-go orders. Like I mentioned, the fried chicken was amazing. I also got a rice bowl and it was super yummy. I will be back. Pro tip: don't order through Door Dash etc. when you're picking up anyway but directly with them. You will pay less...

BB Bowl has been great to my friends and I each time we've come here. The food has always been well made. I've primarily ordered their Katsu Pork given that's the one menu item I've tended to not find too common in similar businesses. Friends have raved about their fried chicken and the one I had dinner with was fond of his bulgogi. The service has always been great, and in particular from the owner who has gone out of his way to ensure quality service. I've always noticed people happy here, and even more when they connect with staff. I believe those interactions were most likely with regulars but if so, that means they have a great environment that motivates others to come back for more. I admit I need to try more menu options, but for everything so far this gets a 5/5.

I got the tofu rice bowl. Every single bite was delicious and satisfying. The staff is friendly. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing and open. I can't wait to come back and try other things on the menu! Update: I came back the next day and tried the bibimbap. Delicious. The side of kimchi was great... not sweet like some restaurants tend to make it!

This place is a local mom n pop place. There are plenty of tables in this quaint space. Very nice quiet place! The staff are too the point and want to serve :) The food is made after the order, which makes your meal super fresh. The flavors are wonderful!!! You will love anything you order from here! Huge parking lot! Clean restroom!

local small business with quick service and affordable prices! the soondubu (soft tofu soup) was really good and hit the spot. the curry rice bowl was decent but nothing super special. ambiance is casual - you pay and order at the front, and they bring your order to you. service is friendly and fast! i would definitely recommend if you're in the area looking for some yummy korean food.

Originally, I was supposed to try out this new establishment, but they were closed even though Google said it was opened. So, I stumbled on this establishment and was glad to do so! I ordered the seafood soondubu in spicy (wished it was spicier teehee). Side dishes were kinda shy. I had bean sprouts, kimchi, and pickled daiko as well as a large bow of rice and an egg to crack in. Price wise, it's on the "cheaper" side when you compare it to other prices of food from elsewhere. Parking was also not an issue. Service was friendly and efficient too!

Unfortunately, they ran out of the gnocchi soup option, which was the draw for me to come here. I was disappointed with that. Got kimchi stew with beef and mixed-grain rice instead. Banchan is great! There was only one waiter working, and while he seated us quickly, we were ready to order but he kept cleaning tables instead. Since there were no other customers, I kind of wish he took our order first because cleaning could have waited. There were two people sitting in the back who looked like managers going over numbers or something, which felt a little awkward too. When the server finally came over, we both ordered the bento and asked what kind of soup came with it. He seemed caught off guard that it even came with soup, so we had to point it out on the menu. He said it was seaweed soup. Food came out pretty fast and looked great. Everything tasted really good overall. My only complaint is the soup. It had a strong fishy flavor, probably from the dashi. It gave it more of a Japanese taste, which felt a little off for a Korean restaurant. I would have preferred something like tofu, bean paste, or daikon soup instead. The banchan was tasty and there was plenty of food. I also liked that they offer multigrain rice since not all Korean spots do that. I think this place is slow mostly because it is right across from Ohgane, which is all you can eat Korean BBQ. If they had more lunch specials or promos, it might help bring in more people. The food is solid but the vibe and service could use a little more energy.

Very big serving size with all the best mixes of toppings on top of the delicious short ribs. The sauce is so good and makes the dish 15/10. Restaurant ambiance is just ok in my opinion, not too many distracting decorations and tables & booths feel nice. We've also tried the spicy rice noodles which were just a 6/10 for me. The kimchi fried rice was also good but not our favorite -- solid 6/10 as well. We literally just come here for the short ribs. Now....i just don't know.....Came here with a party of 12 for my sister's birthday at around 2:30pm (we actually picked this time because we thought they wouldn't be too busy to take our large group). Went to check in but wasn't able to check in with that large amount of people (limited 10 on the kiosk). Not sure if he is the manager or on duty supervisor (we are going to called his Mr. M) but he wasn't friendly. Informed him that we had a party of 12 since the kiosk said to let them know if the party was greater than 10. He told me he wasn't able to seat us all together, I'm like it's ok if you separate us. (But he kept insisting we don't take 12, making me feel like he really didn't want our business). I explained to Mr. M, We are ok if you separate us into 2 groups of 6, we don't have to sit with each other. He was like it'll be about 30 minutes or so. That was fine with us, we weren't all there yet. So after discussing with my family we decided to check in on the Yelp kiosks with two parties of 6s. When everyone arrived (we ended having 11 people total), we rechecked in the kiosk with all parties arrived. My bro in law got text later that their table was ready so their party got seat. While I and the rest of the family waited, we noticed a few booths opened in the front of the restaurant (btw there wasn't anyone else waiting, just us 5). We asked, since it's 4 adults and 1 baby if we could sit there with another server and he was more than happy to take care of us. He even asked if we needed a booster chair for the baby. Mr. M stepped in and told the server no he can't seat us and he came up to us and told us we can't sit there cause it's up to 4 people only and told us "I told you that you would have to wait a long time". We were really shocked with his attitude towards us. Since the baby was getting really hungry we told the rest of my family we are just going somewhere else. Apologized to my sister because we couldn't even eat on her birthday together. All I can say now is "wow, really!!!" I've been going here for so many years because I enjoyed the food and their service and now i'm not sure I want to come back". Btw this isn't the first time we came here with a large group. We have been seated multiple times and we have been in the other side of the building when they used it in the past. If my sister reads this: Happy now belated Birthday, jie!!! Hope you enjoy the day and had a nice birthday regardless!

Luckily, it did not take too long for them to set one up. They also closed the outdoor seating, which made this place so fun and unique back then! We did the AYCE for $43 per person! So worth it especially if you could eat a lot of meat! One À la carte plate of LA style Galbi here was already $38. For four adults, we definitely ordered at least eight plates of just Galbi with several plates of brisket, thin pork belly, seafood, and other sides. The Galbi was all of our favorites! It was so savory, sweet, and tasty! They marinated the meat so well! Such a surprise for an AYCE place! It was better than most of the Korean restaurants we tried in the Bay Area! But now, it's gone south, the lack of business speaks for itself. It's like a ghost restaurant, so empty in a Friday night. That was never the case before. We used to have to wait in line to get a seat. This establishment HAS to have changed management bc the previous management genuinely cared about the quality of food they put out and right now it's not the same. The sauces come in plastic containers and you have to ask for it now, (used to have sesame oil and soy sauce placed in a holder on every table). The cut of the brisket is horrible, tough and super chewy. The sides are all gross, lacking flavor. The egg soufflé was overpoweringly sweet and the bowl was 1/4 full. I wish I took a pic. It was the saddest egg soufflé I've ever eaten. The soft tofu soup was disgusting. Just tomato soup with soft tofu. Incredibly underwhelming situation. The reason I'm giving 2 stars is because of the service workers. They were really sweet and kept checking up on us. The new management/owner doesn't care about the customers, because this meal wasn't worth $42 per person. I will definitely not be returning here.
