Tried some wings flavors (Wing of Fire, Spicy Galbi, Gangjeong) and the Rosé Ddeok-Bokki. The wings were crispy and the meat was tender. The flavors were as described. The wings of fire, their spiciest is not Asian spicy but most will find it spicy, kind of like Sirracha meet Tabasco. Spicy galbi is more sweet than spicy, like a sweet bbq sauce. For the Gangjeong you can taste the hint is cinnamon, which is all you need, anymore and it would be overwhelming. The Rosé Ddeok-Bokki was a disappointment. The rice cakes were good but the sauce was not saucing. It was not creamy and was more watery? or milky? No real flavor other than milk. The space is pretty small. Don't go with a large group and expect there to be open tables during their busy times. Definitely can tell they are new and working out the kinks. read more

Chicken was really juicy and delicious. Huge chicken pieces. We didn't have to wait too long but came out hot and fresh. Service was great. My only complaint is that we ordered the medium boneless wings and we were only allowed one sauce per order. My husband wanted standard hot size on the size and they said it would be 2.00 extra. Would be nice if they just kept little jars of hot sauce for people or let people pick one more sauce to try more flavors with larger orders. But overall, a good experience. read more

First time here with my husband and oh my goodness the environment was amazing very subtle and clean and spacious. I loved how convenient they are placing their utensils and to go boxes and napkins ready to go for customers who are dining in right beside the main front counter. Regarding placing an order they have the main menu screen behind them with an advertisement for their wings or they also have a handheld menu as well. For first timers I'd recommend placing a minimal order just in case you're unsure and want to play it safe. We ordered 8 pieces original spicy wings and a side of cheesling fries. Perfect amount of portion for my husband and I, also the wait is a bit long I noticed a lot of ppl ordering beforehand because they are made to order. Adored the two girls who worked there they were amazing and up to speed and communicated with one another and helped get each food order out accordingly. I'd definitely come back the wings are juicy and perfect amount of spice I can't say the same regarding the fries they were a bit sweet I would stick with the original fries but they do get soggy quick due to the steam being boxed in the Togo box. I used to live across the street from the Vancouver location of this chain and LOVED it. Unfortunately, the Clovis location was not nearly as good. We did an order of half original and half secret sauce chicken. The original chicken was juicy and crispy, but the secret sauce chicken was overly sweet. Also ordered the rosé ddeokbokki and the bulgogi bowl. I am pretty sure they just sent the regular ddeokbokki as there was nothing rosé about it. The bulgogi beef was tasty but that bowl was mostly rice and they forgot the pickled radish. There was nothing we could do to fix this since we had the order delivered. I probably won't be back as Bulldoc has many of the same menu items and is better overall. read more

Very good chicken! The chicken was crisp and yummy! Our favorite was the honey garlic for sure, but also enjoyed the original and we got the secret sauce on the side for the original too. We got the Rose rice cake dish also and potstickers and fries. The potstickers were very good! The rose was not too spicy and flavorful - more fish than spice. I wish I added cheese as I think it would have been creamier. Food was good but be prepared there is limited seating inside. We were lucky and got a table. The food was coming out pretty slow but the restaurant was totally slammed - I'm happy for them for that and I hope the traffic keeps up! I think if they had a self serve station with extra napkins and silverware that would help their front of house staff be more efficient and not be so bothered by customers like myself who needed all the napkins Definitely worth checking out - but go early before the dinner rush if you can! read more

I've tried the major Korean fried chicken chains like Vons and Bonchon in NorCal. BB.Q is significantly better. I suggest ordering ahead online and do not expect this to be a fast food restaurant. Food 5/5 I got the honey garlic wings and original chicken. The honey garlic was the best I've had compared to other places. Not too sweet. The kimchi fried rice was amazing. The rose Tteokbokki was the best I've had, especially since it was not that spicy for me. Service 5/5 Despite being extremely busy, and long wait times, the workers were all kind and helpful. Just discovered this place randomly while shopping at Smart and Final (across the street) and it's a hit! Spicy Galbi is my favorite along with the original spicy. I was excited to try this place out only to be disappointed. We placed an online order that said it would be ready at 7 pm. We got there at 7:05 pm and the worker told us it would be 1-2 hours more. Excuse me? If that's the case you need to update the wait time so people aren't wasting their time driving to the establishment only to wait another hour. The worker said she'll check on how much longer it'll be... she never came back to follow up with us. We just sat down and waited for 15 minutes and asked again. The same worker who helped us before wasn't helpful and we brought up the fact that she literally told us she was going to tell us where we were at in the queue. We ended up waiting a total of 40 minutes there before our food was ready. We got Gangnam and Soy garlic wings. The Gangnam was better than the soy garlic, it actually had decent flavor. The soy garlic tasted nothing like soy or garlic, it was overly sweet. Maybe they gave us the honey garlic instead? You can tell they were in a rush because the wings were poorly coated in the sauce. The tteoboki was the most disappointing item. The sauce was just spicy and no balance in flavors. The rice cakes could have used some more cooking time, I took one bite and tossed the rest away. Overall I get it that this business is new and they need to sort of some of their quirks but the workers need some training on better customer service as evidenced by other Yelpers. Customers were walking in and just standing there because there's no organization or direction, only to be told it'll be 2-3 hours for food. It doesn't make sense when you have 5-6 people upfront looking like chickens with their heads cut off. If you're in the area and have plenty of time to wait for food, then give it a try.
