The server is really nice and helpful, he would check on us a few times, asked us is everything okay. My first time coming in here in person!! The Apple Park location is low key the superior one to Sunnyvale. They have a few more menu items -- such as pasta. (Which are pretty tasty). They also have a lunch combo of 6 boneless chicken pieces, a side, and a drink for 19.99, which is a crazy deal for this economy in the Bay Area. Out of all the Korean spots that have the rose ddukbokki, I truly think bb.q does the sauce the best. We always make sure to get it. They have good rice cake to fish cake ratio as well (they give quite a bit of fish cake). The fish cake especially really hits here. It's the thin sheet kind and they cook it to perfect texture. The cheesling flavour has lately been my go to order for chicken. It looks a little odd but the ones who know know that this is the superior flavour. I also enjoy getting their Rose Tteok-bokki. The rose does not add as much of a floral taste as you would think, its very light and pleasant. This very creamy dish is a comforting side dish that complement that salty flavor from the wings. The wing sizes are decently big so I think the small (8pc) is good to share with 2 people but if you are hungrier def go for the medium. I always order online to takeout and it is always a seamless process. When I pickup my order the servers are always so kind and provide complimentary gloves for us to dig into our food with haha. We first learned about bb.q from our favorite kdrama Crash Landing on You (don't judge!) so we were excited when they opened in the States. We tried the original fried chicken, soy garlic, and original boneless (to make it easier for the little kids to eat). Our favorite was the soy garlic, which was saucy, sweet, and tangy. The original fried chicken batch didn't have much flavor in my opinion but it was good for those who just want a basic fried chicken. The fried chicken is always cooked to order and they are not stingy with the quantity. The customer is superb! I recommend calling in your order ahead of time if you plan to order for togo, since it takes quite a bit of time for them to prepare. For dine-in, you place your order with the cashier and seat yourself. Water, plastic utensils and paper trays are self serve. If you order soda, beer, soju or their cold salads, you pay with the cashier and grab them from the fridge yourself. They call your name when your food order is ready. They package your food in togo containers and bags, even if you're dining in. You can request for plastic gloves. You bus your own table once you are done. It took about 20 minutes to get our food when we dined in. We ordered.. SPICY ORIGINAL *8 PIECES-WINGS ONLY* $17.99 -crispy, had a spicy kick, flavorful and the wings were juicy! Eight pieces doesn't seem like that much, but the pieces are chonky. It was the perfect amount to satisfy our stomachs. The chicken also comes with pickled radish on the side which I love. Overall, this was fantastic and lived up the hype. This may be the best Korean fried chicken that my bf and I have had in the area. No doubt that we will be coming back in the future.
