We ordered veggie pancake, beef bulgogi and mackerel. All the dishes were amazing! There were 3 of us and we finished everything! The service here is also great! The owner was so funny and had great hospitality. The music was nice and silky smooth with created great ambience!

Soft Tofu Stew with Kimchee and Pork (spicy)

Funny thing- we thought we were dining at Tofu Plus BBQ the whole time we were there! ha! ha!. So we had a slightly higher expectation based on the reviews we read. Anyway, the service was friendly and warm. We were seated right away - the restaurant was not very full. We ordered the chicken Korean BBQ , soft tofu stew: kimchee and pork and the Bibimbab with beef. We were served with 7 varieties of bonchon: stewed chili potatoes, marinated zucchini slices, fish cake slices, kim chee, tofu, marinated seaweed and glass noodles. The glass noodles had a great flaovor but the other items were just OK. The kimchee had a siciness to it but somehow it was not balanced (sweet, crunchy, spicy). The dishes all sort of fell one or two notches from being good. The seasonings on the dishes were just a tad shy on the flavor profile. Th ebest dish was the Chicken BBQ. there was more rice than beef in the bibimbap and the tofu stew was a bit 'raw' in the chili paste - perhaps the chili needed to be cooked a little longer. Price wise - I thought it was a bit pricey for what we got. Not sure I would come back again. Was a nice restaurant but there was nothing I saw or tasted that is enticing me to return.

Lunch after our morning walk with one of my besties. She was craving bibimbap, so we decided to come here. We ordered the combination tofu soup at medium spice and a dolsot beef bibimbap to share. The meal came with seven types of banchan, plus complimentary hot tea served in a pot with free refills, which was a nice touch. For my taste, the food was on the bland side. The banchan were also very mildly seasoned. The service, however, was great, and the ambiance was casual yet pleasant. They also accept credit card payments.

I visit Kong Tofu & BBQ three or four times a year and always leave satisfied. We enjoy the fast and friendly service. Good food and a large menu to choose from. I believe they are well known for their "Hot Stone Bowl" dishes. Good Korean comfort food! Around the end of year holidays they always decorate for Christmas. Very creative!

I went here on a holiday weekend and had a reservation made for around 10 people beforehand. The staff was very nice and gave the children in our party some treats for fun! Ordering was quick and easy, and we tried many dishes, ranging from their bibimbaps to ramen to short ribs. I personally tried their assorted soft tofu stew, which had various meats and seafood. The stew was comforting and flavorful and was slightly more spicy than expected at the mild spice level. The tofu itself was soft and silky. The portion size was filling for everyone in general; many people in our party had some leftovers. Service was efficient, and the food came out hot and fresh, especially for the people who ordered hot stone bibimbaps. Reliable spot for those craving Korean comfort foods!

Authentic food, great service, and a quiet dining environment with spacious seating. I really enjoyed the meal and would happily come back again.

Came here for my birthday dinner today with my friends and thought it was so delicious!! We got seafood pancakes, short ribs, icy broth noodles, spicy buckwheat noodles, and eel bibimbap. My favorite was prob the short ribs. The server was so sweet and checked in on us often. We'll be back :)

Have been coming here with my family for years! Love the spicy pork bibimbap and the side dishes especially. Will always come back :)

Decent beef soondubu! Came out really quickly and the service was fast and nice. We came on Father's Day with reservations for a party of 12 and there was plenty of seating. It does get pretty busy so do a reservation if you can! We were seated in the back so it was a cozy environment with a long table. Do note that plastic takeout containers do cost $0.50 for one!

This used to be a family favorite when it first opened but came back for the first time in a long time! Happy to say that the food is still very yummy :)) side dishes were plentiful and each dish was well flavored. The galbi and stir fried spicy squid were our favorites! Soondubu is good too. Service is quick and friendly. Lots of seating too.

Visited on a Wednesday night, a little close to closing time. This mom and pop shop is so cozy and has some pretty yummy food. The restaurant itself is quite spacious, and has an outdoor patio seating area. Nestled in the highly popular plaza off Stevens Creek, Kong Tofu & BBQ has a very kind staff who are pretty attentive and great with accommodating to any needs/ wants. I'd definitely come back! OKAY THE FOOD: * beef buckwheat cold noodle soup - so yummy and VERY refreshing! This was my first time trying this dish, and I genuinely enjoyed how refreshing and tasty it was. *popcorn chicken - Y U M and so CRISPY! My bestie and I killed this dish and was contemplating on ordering a portion togo * Banchan - you can't go wrong with the banchan here, and they''re generous with their portions!

Anyways, we were quickly seated and ordered our food. We ordered the Wooga Special, Soft Tofu Stew, Tteokbokki, Kimchi Pancake, and an Orange Soda to share. The meals here come with the typical banchan sides too, which was nice to snack on. Then the staff pushed their cart of food over to our table and started grilling our meats. That was such a nice and unexpected experience how they grill your food for you since it allowed me to eat while the other meats were being cooked! All of their meat cuts are so tender and had a nice marbling on them. Out of the meat cuts I tried, my favorite cut was the Sirloin because of how tender and flavorful it tasted along when eaten along with the dipping sauces it came with. I'd recommend this place! I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the cuts here and liked how they help cook for you. Sometimes it can feel overwhelming to cook and eat at the same time at those barbecue restaurants, so that was a nice change of pace for a Korean bbq style restaurant.

I had a taste for Chinese, so I ordered sweet & sour chicken, white rice, and a small wonton soup via delivery. The sweet & sour chicken was probably the best I've ever tasted. The chicken was tender and the flavor of the sauce was perfection. The portion was huge, too. My delivery arrived piping hot. The wonton soup was also delicious. A small is enough for two people. In addition to wontons, the soup contained pieces of beef, cabbage, broccoli, and more. I would have liked the broth to be more flavorful, but it was still good. We found a table right by their big screen TV so we could watch Panama vs. Ghana play in the World Cup. They have plenty of seating inside. All the tables were clean and spotless. My husband loved the Kung Pao Chicken and enjoyed his refreshing watermelon juice. He said the spice level on the Kung Pao Chicken was a medium spice, which he liked.
