    Fried chicken
    Jhing S.

We visit thos place since they close late and my wife wants to try Korean fried chicken. And she really loves it we enjoyed all the food. She really loves the takoyaki. I enjoyed the original it is really crispy. The fried pickle is good too as well as the mozarella. Staff are kind and polite. The restaurant is very clean and the rest room as well. We will surely come bavk again.

A classic Korean fried chicken spot that satisfies the cravings. I'm just a sucker for any korean chicken place and this one doesn't disappoint. I just love biting into a crispy leg while Kpop is playing and washing it down with a beer and cleansing my palate with pickled radish. While the chicken is great, the sides are pretty meh. I've tried the fries and the takoyaki and both have come out cold and bland but as long as they can do chicken I'm happy. The vibe here is very casual with the classic Kpop music videos on the TV which lets me wind down after a long day. The service here is also something to be desired since it's been consistently slow every time I come. But that's not gonna stop me from coming when the craving for chicken does hit.

Carribbean & Honey Garlic Wings, Pickled Radish, Cheesling Sauce

Rating: 4.4/5 [Postmates delivery] Bb.q is a popular food chain known for its consistent food quality. Pickled Radish ($1.20): Pricey, but they give you a large container. We didn't know that each order already came with a side of pickled radish so we ended up with an extra one. Caribbean Spice Wings (Medium - 9 Pieces, $21.54): Crispy chicken slathered in their special Caribbean jerk sauce. We don't usually eat Caribbean food, so I was surprised when my husband ordered this flavor--but it turned out to be really good! Honey Garlic Wings (Medium - 9 Pieces, $21.54): Brushed with a sweet, soy-based sauce. A classic flavor you can't go wrong with. These were a bit crispier than the Caribbean Spice wings since they weren't as saucy. Cheesling Side Sauce ($3.20): A generous portion of rich, sweet cheese powder sauce--great for an extra flavor boost. However, we barely made a dent in it since the wings were already flavorful enough on their own.

I love the fried chicken here! So good and delicious! I usually get the half & half whole chicken with the secret sauce, and it slaps every time! The meat fell off the bone, and chicken was so crispy! Just know it's more expensive than American fried chicken restaurant with smaller chicken pieces. With tax and tip, the half & half came out to be around $41. Service was great, and as usual, K-pop music was blasting with a bunch of TVs showing K-pop music videos lol. FYI this area is busy, especially on weekends, and the parking spots are kind of narrow, so be mindful of that.

Great food and great customer service! I was looking for something close to the hotel and this spot popped up on yelp. The chicken looked amazing so I figured I would give them a shot and I am glad I did! I was greeted by two very nice ladies working there. Very personable and nice. The food was simply amazing. The chicken wings are fried to perfection. The waffle fries were crispy and tasty. I'll definitely come back here next time I am in the area. Top notch !

    Cheeseling wings and rose tokbokki

Yummy Korean style wings and tokbokki. I like their cheeseling wings a lot and just recently tried rosé tobokki which was very tasty too. I always ordered delivery for bbq chicken but dined in for the first time recently. The inside was pretty basic, dark grey decor with some screens with Kpop on it. Service was standard. Overall good choice for Korean style wings in Austin.

This was my wife and I's first visit--it was a weekday evening, around 6 PM or so and the restaurant wasn't too busy. We were able to be seated right away. The restaurant itself isn't very large inside so any parties greater than 4 should be aware that this spot might not be able to accommodate quickly if it's super busy. For dinner we shared Galbi-flavored wings: sweet, savory and smoky flavors with green onions and sesame seed garnish. I almost asked for ranch on the side but these wings didn't need them with the flavor they were bringing. We were impressed. I believe we ordered a 9-piece and that was enough for 2, unless you're super hungry. On the side we ordered and shared "Cheesling Fries." They were surprisingly sweet with the cheese on top giving off a "powdered" texture--kind of reminded me of the white cheddar popcorn they sell at the grocery store. It was definitely different, but we still liked them. Overall we had a good experience, wasn't amazing, but it was good! We might come back whenever we're in the area.

    Gan Jeong
    Naomi S.

We ordered two different types of wings, the Gan Jeong and the Spicy Galbi. Both were very flavorful and neither of them were particularly spicy (at least in my opinion as a south Asian who can handle spice LOL). I did prefer the spicy Galbi flavor wise. Both came with pickled radishes, which was refreshing. The food came out pretty quick and the servers were attentive.

We've ate at this chain restaurants twice at this location and many times in other states. Service was good. The wings were extremely small. Come on owner stop skimping out on regular size wings and get the jumbo size. The wing was not crispy at all which is really disappointing. The waitress recommend a Sichuan flavor which she said was going to be discontinued soon. We also got the spiciest sauce(I forgot the name of that one), which only had a slight hint of spice.

First let me say, I live AT LEAST a 30 minute drive from this place. But I've been craving KFC for weeks and finally broke down. After a 2 hour workout yesterday I figured I'd earned it darn it! So I decided to make the trek for what I hoped would be an unbelievable fried chicken experience. First, I'm well acquainted with the cute strip mall it resides in. I got there early so I decided to take advantage and browse the Daiso that's next door. Great idea because with all the time I was able to kill in there, by the time I walked out I was getting a text that my order was ready. Sadly, I didn't get pictures or a feel for the environment of the restaurant being that my order was sitting waiting on the counter. As I stated, with the long drive time was of the essence...And let me tell you, it was the hardest drive I've made in a while! The smell of the freshly made chicken filled my car making my stomach growl. The anticipation killed me the whole way home (and IH35 sucked). I almost couldn't contain myself after making home but I was able to snap a few pics before digging in. I bought a whole chicken half original half hot spicy, galbi wings and 1 pickled radish. First let me tell you, I had an abundance of radish because I must have missed that orders come with some. No matter because the radish was probably my second favorite thing! I tried a piece of each chicken flavor and let me tell you...THIS CHICKEN IS GREAT. I can only imagine if I had eaten in the restaurant and been able to try it completely fresh. Even after the drive it was still crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The flavors were explosive. Each one was addicting in its own way. The hot spicy is HOT. I'm a lover of all things spicy and this took me by surprise. Beware, it's a lot. But still retained the ability to not be just heat. There was still a lot of great flavor to the chicken. The galbi was crispy, sticky, sweet and savory and very addictive. But the best by far was the original. I can't describe the flavor burst, the juicy meat and the perfect crunch (but not so much that it hurts the soft palate of your mouth). The original is what chicken SHOULD be. I cannot express how satisfied I was after eating this meal. With all that said, I do think $60 for chicken, no matter how good, is too much. I just can't in good conscience pay that price for fried chicken. It seems absurd. While I can rave about how delicious it is, I can't say that ANY fried chicken is worth that price. So I'm not too sure how often I'd be back. But if you've got some money to blow on a splurge then I'd say it won't be wasted here.

Spicy Galbi Flavor Boneless + Gangjeong Flavor Boneless
    Jonathan K.

Came on a Wednesday for lunch, and were quickly seated. They weren't too busy, had kpop playing, and overall was a chill vibe. A regular restaurant, normal service, and nothing too crazy. Came to check out the KFC (korean fried chicken) as seen on kdramas lol. Spicy Galbi Flavor Boneless + Gangjeong Flavor Boneless - Flavor of both are not too spicy, and flavor-wise are solid options. Both are flavors that I would get again - However, the chicken had too much breading, and wasn't too crispy. We were the only new customers in the entire place, and expected fresher, fried chicken that is straight from the deep fryer. The chicken didn't seem to hold its' crisp as well as other KFC places, and very quickly turned soggy after a few bites. Soggy and bready, not exactly the best combination. Overall an ok choice for korean fried chicken, but as a chain, the quality is definitely location dependent.

That said, this was easily the best Korean meal I've had in Austin, and honestly, it might be the best I've had in Texas. The soondubu arrived absolutely piping hot. I ordered the mushroom version, and it was packed with a wide variety of mushrooms rather than just a few token pieces. Even when ordered spicy, the broth still had incredible depth and flavor that wasn't just heat for the sake of heat. The tteokbokki was addictive. We ended up adding cheese and ramen, which took it to another level. The marinated kalbi was equally impressive: high-quality meat with very little fat and generous portions. The banchan was also top-tier. Standouts included the soy-glazed potatoes, fresh kimchi, and japchae. They also serve purple rice, which has a wonderful chewy texture and feels like a more thoughtful alternative to standard white rice. The food alone would bring me back, but the service was excellent as well; friendly, attentive, and efficient. We came for an early dinner and got seated right away, but if you're planning to come during peak dinner hours, expect a wait. The locals clearly know this place is something special. Huge parking lot and the dining area is bright and airy, even playing the world cup games. Seems to be very family friendly.

The steamed egg was light, fluffy, and comforting, while the spicy tofu pork soup was phenomenal.
