The ambiance is chill, laid back and very casual. The service is good. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and the waiter took time to explain the menu thoroughly. I enjoyed the fried dumplings alot. I ordered the Galbi wings. Here is where I am torn. The chicken wings were a good size, cooked well, and crunchy. That was the goal but I am not sure if I am impressed with my flavor choice. I ordered Galbi flavored and it didn't taste like Galbi at all. It was sweet with a very light soy taste. I don't know anyone's Galbi that tastes like that. It was not a bad sauce but I should have ordered something with some heat instead. The pickled radish is perfect and a clean refresher in between chicken bites. If I come back, I will definitely try a different flavor so I can have a better idea of how much I like the place.

Great service right off the bat and no wait time, which is always a win. I ordered the 8-piece honey garlic wings, and honestly... these might be the most flavorful wings I've ever had. The flavor is unreal, but what really sets them apart is how perfectly cooked they are. I don't know what kind of batter bb.q Chicken uses, but it's somehow crunchy and soft at the same time, with every bite hitting just right. The honey garlic sauce is bold, savory, and addicting without being overpowering. If you're a wing lover, this place is an absolute must.

If you want some good Korean fried chicken, they have that here! They have different spice levels and some sweeter options. The portions are good and it comes with pickled radishes. They also serve sides like tteok-bokki and waffle fries. The staff is always friendly and the environment is fun and moody.

I made a reservation just be safe, but there was plenty of seats available. Our server was pleasant and helpful in providing specific menu ingredient for items I've never tried. The cold draft beer paired with the spicy crispy fried chicken was awesome. The Golden Chicken is just right in spiciness. The Takoyaki is so yummy. The So ddeouk So ddeouk was a new twist to mini sausage for sure. Really enjoy the pickled daikon radish that accompanies the chicken. The selections offered spice, sour, sweet, and savory. We enjoyed the K-Pop playing on the TV screens throughout the restaurant. Great experience! Next time Soju tasting for sure.

Very simple inside. Beer available. Staff was very friendly but the wait time for my food, when it wasn't busy, was long. Lots of orders to-go being prepared and in 30 minutes, I saw one of the three tables get food. But it was worth the wait. Finger-licking good!

Hubby played golf in the Fort Sam area this past Friday afternoon. We decided to visit @bb.qchickensa. Happy hour ends at 7pm. Dad had Lemonade and Hubby and I shared a Modelo draft 22 oz mug. We enjoyed the Half & Half Whole Chicken with the original and secret sauce on a previous visit and ordered this again. It comes with a cup of radish. We had the Corn Salad, Waffle Fries, and Fried Dumplings.

This place is absolutely amazing! They had some different menu items than what I'm used to in Orlando, and I absolutely loved it and indulged. (Pictures of what we ordered are attached). I introduced my mom to this place, as she had no idea this hidden gem was in her city. She enjoyed everything, as well. The Customer Service is also just as satisfying. They are so sweet and I felt valued as a customer. They got a part of my order wrong, never caught an attitude with me, and fix it right away. The only reason why I had to take one star away is because the Ddeok-Bokki was cold. It still tastes a good, it was just cold and I like all of my food piping hot. (If this place was close to my home, I would've just thrown it into the microwave, no biggie, but I was about 30 minutes away from my mom's house). That said, I am still so elated that San Antonio doesn't have one but Who locations to choose from??! I hope they understand how lucky they are. Orlando area only has one (but I'll take it!) I highly recommend and can't wait to return the next time. I visit my family in San Antonio.

Had the boneless chicken lunch combo. I wish it came with fries included but the lunch does not. The chicken is crispy and delicious. Service is quick and staff are friendly. They have tvs playing kpop which is fun.

Ordered Gangnam style and spicy galbi! The flavors are fantastic overall but the chicken could use more of a crunch. We ordered 9 wings Gangnam style and 9 boneless spicy galbi. The spicy galbi had more of a moist sauce compared to the Gangnam style but both were quite delicious. They have happy hours Monday-Friday for ~ 3 hours at 4 pm, which includes 50% off draft beers. We went around 3 pm so there was plenty of parking in the parking lot and only one other customer. There's also an Asian store within walking distance as a wind-down from all of the chicken!

This was our second time here and boy they did not disappoint! As usual greeted and sat right away, minute later we were greeted by our waitress. We knew what we wanted to so we ordered most things right away. We were served our Soju right away and even had the fisrt shot poured for us. Few minutes later we got our Rose' Ddeok-Bokki! A Classic Korean street food made from rice cakes and fish cakes in a sweet and spicy chili reduction that was so tasty and saucy! we also got our So-Ddeok So-Ddeok which is crispy rice cakes and sausage! Eaten together it's like heaven! Saucy, crunchy and savory! Last but not least we got our Gangnam Style bone in wings! The flavor was supposed to be a black pepper sauce but I didn't taste any black pepper... Not to say they were not awesome, perfectly crunchy, sauced and juicy! The restaurant has been clean both times we went and there is K-Pop playing so its very lively inside! The bench seat along the wall is a bit tall for the tables IMO and kind of uncomfortable. We love the food, staff and environment and we'll definitely be back!

Ambiance is laid back. Service was ok. We got our order in a timely manner. They brought us a cup of ice with our canned soda. Our waffle fries came out and then our order. I had ordered 3 lunch specials @ 13.00 each and 1 waffle fries after tax was $49.79. A little pricey. The food is delicious. It's a lot closer than the one in Austin tx. I only recently discovered my favorite Korean bbq place just 3 days ago. I'm so happy that there's one here in san antonio !!! Would recommend and definitely will be back often.

I've gotten take out a few times from here, but finally dined in for the first time. The quality of the to-go wings are definitely not as good as freshly made, given the time it takes for delivery etc. I will say that the chicken is definitely juicier and the wings are crispier than if you get your order to-go. My go-to flavors are spicy original and soy garlic, which I got both of them bone-in. The rose ddeokbokki accompanied the wings perfectly, and the sauce from the ddeokbokki is perfect for dipping the wings in too. There are Korean music videos playing on the TVs, with K-pop music playing overhead. The service is okay, nothing outstanding but also not bad either. If you're in the area, this spot definitely does Korean fried chicken solidly, so it's worth a dine-in experience if you've previously gotten it delivered or to-go.

How many wings are in a Medium and a Large?

I cannot say the exact amount but a medium fills me up. I am 6 foot, 193lbs. My wife and daughter only eat half of a medium. I hope that helps.

The fish cake and kimchi cucumbers were good, but others like the kimchi and the bean sprouts could have used more flavor. As an entree, I ordered the spicy tofu soup, but I wish it was a little spicier! The soup also had a stronger seafood/fish taste compared to other tofu soups I've had, which I didn't expect. Chas Market & Kitchen had been long on my list and since it was minutes away, seemed like the most logical choice. I have constantly heard people sing its praises. I will say I'm not versed in Korean fare. I had previously went to another Korean Restaurant and had a terrible experience. It is somewhere on the outskirts of the Eastside, alongside the highway. From the exterior it feels like a neighborhood convenient store. Once inside the room opens up with ample seating and tables. I noticed the tables that are specifically for their "All You Can Eat" menu but that's for another review. Along the walls are fridges with drinks and little knick knacks. It reminded me of a bodega. After we found a seat a server came and left menus. The menu is really extensive. I decided on their beef bulgogi, again a redo after the previous restaurant fiasco. A hip soundtrack is playing overhead, which I believe gives the place a modern vibe. Before I go on I must include that the server was excellent. I say this as he was very attentive but still able to work the rest of the room. Whenever I go to a new place sometimes I feel an anxiety. My fear is being disappointed and having wasted my time. But my impression is that it is an ultra laid back place. You can leave your Armani suit and Louboutin shoes at home. When the food came to the table it was served on a plate steaming similar to a fajita plancha. The server brought over accompanying small dishes that are meant to be added to the bulgogi. The small dishes contained: kimichi, spicy cucumbers, radish etc. Combining any or all with the dishes heightened the flavors. I think this was the most unique tasting thing I've had this year. In addition if you want a drink you have to choose one from their wall of fridges. I think this might dissuade some patrons but again, the overall experience is like that of a bodega. If you are looking for great Korean food with excellent service by all means go to Chas Market & Kitchen. So far this year this has been the restaurant with the most unique flavors. It is perfect for a date night, friends or with family. And I have to, have to absolutely do their "All You Can Eat" where you cook all items. I'm buying if someone else is doing the cooking.

The staff is attentive and our drink orders were taken as soon as we sat. The waitress was patient with us and explained how the all you can eat works. We were used to K-Pot where you just order and order, whereas here you have a limit to what and how much you can order. You are limited to so many items at a time, and we found ourselves actually enjoying that. We were not overwhelmed with too much food and no space. You don't have to get up from your table at all, everything is brought to you. All of the sides they bring you to go with the all you can eat are so thought out and flavorful. The noodles, the cucumbers and the squash, everything. And everything is prepared fresh. All of our sides and soup came out hot and steaming. Not like heat lamp hot, like fresh out of the pan hot. We got the ttekboki, fried dumplings, and vegetable tempura. They were all delicious! Now the quality of the meats here is MILES beyond the chain KBbQ places. All of the cuts were a decent thickness, and were portioned quite well. They were very flavorful. We ordered thinly sliced steak, spicy bulgogi, bbq chicken, and pork belly. All were delicious. We were a table of 3 adults and 2 kids and did not even get a refill on the meats. They also have a smoke vent to help with the grill. We really appreciated that. And we never had to change our grill, because things did not burn. Often at other places they are walking around having to change grills 4-5 times. Overall, this has become our favorite Korean Restaurant. We already have plans to return and bring friends and family. Give this place a try. The food speaks for itself, but the service and people are also awesome. 25 years in business, and it shows!
