    Ramen

Small mom-and-pop type restaurant that you probably need Yelp to be able to find. I got chicken wings and ramen. The chicken wings were really good, flavorful and crispy. The ramen was decent - I'd give it about a 3.5/5. The broth could have been a bit more flavorful. Would I go again? Yes.

Without a doubt, some of the best Korean chicken around! It's always a must-order with any meal at Wow Chicken & Cupbop. I've visited three times now, and each experience has been fantastic--zero complaints. The drink selection is impressive, featuring fruity, boba, and unique Korean beverages that are hard to find elsewhere. The service is top-notch as well! The staff, particularly the women, are incredibly hardworking and ensure excellent service. I absolutely love this place--the fries, dumplings, Korean chicken, and tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes)--everything is just so delicious

    Fried goodness.

Great wings and crinkle fries in a cute Mom and Pop shop. Fried to perfection. Super nice owners. We liked the "Hot Fried" the best. Kind of a dry rub. The Soy Garlic was a little sweet. We asked and they gave us a little kimchi on the side. Check them out if you are a fan of Korean Fried Chicken.

It's been a while since our first visit to Wow Chicken Cupbop. It was so good, it was time to visit again. There were definitely more drink choices. Dad had the Coconut drink, mine was the Melon version, and hubby had the Arizona drink. We bought a tub of kimchi and file fish each and was enjoying that while we waited for the food. We got the 6-piece wings in Honey Garlic and Sweet & Spicy with fries and can of Lemonade. I love, love their flavorful Japchae. Best in town, in my opinion. Also got the 7-piece drumstick in Original and Sweet & Spicy. They gave us complimentary daikon radish and kimchi. All so good and plenty of food to take home.

Truly a hole in the wall, if you know you know kind of place! The most crispy and crunchy fried chicken that is our personal favorite when we're on this side of town. Korean fried chicken is top tier and we love their honey garlic flavor and using the fries to dip into the sauce. Super yummy! These Korean aunties know how to throw it down in the kitchen. Youre not getting world class service but that's truly not the point! These ladies know what they're doing and their food speaks to it! Some advanced options I was impressed by with their shik-hye (sweet rice drink) and their hwe naengmyun (raw fish spicy cold noodles) if you're not into raw fish like that I would definitely get the regular bibim cold noodles because the flavors of their sauces are super yummy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]A well rounded spot with its unapologetic authenticity.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] With gateway drug chicken to lure you in, and delicious specialty dishes for you to explore and try!

A hole in the wall, but don't let that discourage you from trying the food and all its flavors! Small family business so go show your support. We came in and nobody else was there, so pretty quiet. We placed our order, and the food came soon after. I really enjoyed my food! Especially the dumplings ;they were bustting. Super juicy and now on my top 3 choices for dumplings. I really enjoyed my pork cutlet it was crunchy and the sauce on top was perfect! My plate was 10/10 big portions had to take some home! The SPICY nuggets are no joke they got some serious kick! Super good but super hot They have lots of options to drink from and some Korean drinks in the fridge. A very homie space And once we finished our meal and left all the ladies that were there told us goodbye

We've visited this place for the second time and the quality stays the same. Food is served fresh and hot - chicken is crispy and savory. The hot stone bibimbap was one the best I had with their really good chili sauce which came with soup and side dishes. The service was always nice and getting good vibes from this place. It feels homey and close to Asia when I am here. The place also serves some korean drinks and side dishes. One of the good places that i'll surely recommend.

I've come here once a week every week since I've been in SA. My friend says the fried chicken is something special. I got chajangmyun this time. It was hearty and generous portion. Parking at lunch can be a challenge so you may have to go in the back of the lot.

Best Korean fried chicken spot in San Antonio, Texas. We randomly tried this spot while looking for Korean restaurants near the Korean market area. Ratings were good so we decided to give it a go. Theres two categories to their menu: Korean fried chicken and Korean food. We ordered a 7 Piece sweet and spicy along with a 10 piece drumstick in soy garlic. The chicken came out piping hot and delicious. My preference is the sweet and spicy! There's a real good kick to it and irresistibly addictive. I can't stop thinking to go back as it's rare to find Korean fried chicken in San Antonio. Next time, I want to try the Korean noodle options they have. Also, they sell Korean side dishes in fridges which looks pretty legit. Worth a try!

My daughter told me about this place and I'm so glad that she did. It is a small restaurant but very good and the staff were extremely nice! I'm here on a Saturday and there was plenty of parking. I went in ordered and sat down, and it didn't take long at all for my food to be done. I ordered one of their specials it was 6 pcs wings with fries and a drink for $9.99. I got the soy garlic flavored wings and they were fried to perfection and the sauce was amazing. My son ordered the fish and shrimp with fries and a drink special for $12.99 and he ate all of it. Which means it was very good because he is picky. I definitely recommend this place. Next time I go I plan on trying the Korean food because it looked so good! I even ordered my husband a 10 piece of wings to go and his were flavored with honey garlic sauce. He loved them and said he would have ate them without any sauce because they were fried perfectly and taste amazing!

The menu is exciting and the concept is definitely there--but unfortunately, my dining experience didn't quite live up to it. I ordered the pecan-crusted trout, which had a nice texture but lacked flavor and seasoning. The dirty rice was also underwhelming, with very little depth or seasoning, and the calamari was a bit rubbery. Overall, the food just didn't hit the mark for me. Service was also a bit inconsistent. During dinner, I found myself having to get up to grab my own salt and pepper, as well as my own place setting, which took away from the experience. That said, I did have a much better interaction the day before when my wife and I stopped by for a glass of champagne at the bar--the bartender was lovely and welcoming. On a positive note, the location is beautiful--right along the River Walk, which makes for a great ambiance and setting. I'd consider giving it another try, but hoping for more consistency in both food and service next time.

When it comes out, the drink is good but could've used a bit more lime in the mix but not bad. For food, I go with the fried shrimp and catfish nuggets. When they come out, the plates are larger than expected and both come with fries. This could easily be shared with two or three people. Everything was friend to perfection, crispy on the outside, moist on the inside and seasoned well. The plates were wiped clean. I ordered a house pinot noir and it was a good. I didn't catch the brand name but would order it again. Overall, this was a great first experience at Roam & Range and will look forward to coming back to try more of the menu. The food feels like the chefs were given good quality materials, but had no idea what to do with them. We ordered a funghi pizza to share then a cinghiale, a costine (short ribs), and a dentice (bass). Funghi pizza was the only dish that made coming worth it at all. It had a nice flavor, but if you're expecting the notes of an earthy mushroom flavor, don't. It's just a nicer version of a standard cheese pizza topped with some onions and mushroom. The cinghiale was just stunningly mediocre. The meat was flavorful, but the pasta itself was shockingly bland. It was just so... ok. The dentice was the best of the 3 individual dishes, but it is just what you would expect some average short ribs with random sauce to taste. The costine was just terrible. Salty on the outside, yet flavorless on the inside. Avoid at all costs. The service was passable, but they clearly overwork their servers as one server just handles an entire section and is too overwhelmed to be timely. I came to cheer myself up, but honestly it only made dinner comically worse. I seriously can't imagine what would cause someone to rate this as 5 stars. Every dish feels thoughtfully curated with tried-and-true recipes rooted in Chef Luca and his family's Northern Italian traditions. This is the kind of place where quality takes priority over quantity. Our server, Gary, was fantastic. He was friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and passionate about Italian food and wine. His recommendations were spot-on and his enthusiasm felt so genuine. We started with a bread basket accompanied by a little sampling of tapenade, which was savory, briny, and a perfect complement to the warm bread. Came in with a group of four, we kicked things off with the burrata starter--a surprisingly fun and shareable adventure of baked burrata, fresh crostini, roasted cauliflower, asparagus, sun-dried tomatoes, artichokes, and basil cream. There was a lot happening on the plate, but it all worked beautifully together. For our entrées, we ordered the Tartufo, Cinghiale, Bolognese, and Carbonara. And let me just say, the Tartufo was a full-on dinner performance. Gary brought out steaming hot tagliatelle pasta and tossed it tableside inside a giant wheel of Parmesan. He then topped it with crab meat in brown butter before finishing it with a generous shaving of truffle. Every bite was like a perfectly timed symphony of flavors--rich, savory, buttery, and earthy, with nothing outshining the other. I'd put this dish up against anyone's nonna. I sampled the other three entrées as well, and every one was delicious. The gnocchi in the Cinghiale is an absolute must-try--pillowy, texturally delightful, and packed with flavor. Thank you, Nonna Osteria, for such an epic culinary experience. And a special shoutout to Gary for guiding us through the menu and making an already great dinner even better.

The service somehow felt rushed even though the food itself came out slowly, and there were very few check-ins during the meal. The cabbage was somewhat spicy, the cornbread muffin was a half muffin, the muffin did not fill up the cupcake muffin wrapper. But the fried catfish, fried chicken wings and yams were on point, I would order the catfish and chicken wing plate to go anyday! The peach cobbler was very sweet. My daughter ordered meatloaf, a pork chop plate, Mac & cheese, collard greens, cornbread muffin, a tropical punch beverage and banana pudding which I felt the pudding was watered down vs. being thick. She asked for medium cooked pork chops and one pork chop was medium and one pork chop was over cooked. She notified the cashier and he stated they both were cooked at temp the same time. The collard greens were spicy and the Mac & cheese were watered down. I had to go to the restroom. This was the worst restroom in any restaurant I have ever used. First, there was no light on, I had to ask for light and one of the employees turned on the light. Secondly, there was an awful hole in the top right corner ceiling, I was afraid to use the restroom for fear of some bug crawling in through the ceiling hole. Third, there was also a hole in the wall visible behind the toilet tank top, again I was afraid to set down on the toilet and the whole bathroom decor was unappealing. When other patrons described this establishment as as "HOLE IN THE WALL" they were absolutely correct. Don't forget about the hole in the ceiling! Entering into the building, the walls and ceiling were black, making the atmosphere sad. There was also a small bar to the left of the dining area. But the kicker for me was, our two meals, two beverages, and two desserts cost $61!!! As many Soul Food Restaurant I have eaten in with my daughter for two people, I have never been charged so much for two soulfood meals with two beverages and two desserts. RECOMMEDATION: Of course my palate is different from other customers, but I would never return to the establishment due to being over charged for two meals, two beverages, two desserts and the lady's restroom was the pits.
