Let's start with the most important thing: This is NOT a NY bagel. It's thick as a pillow and has zero texture or chew in the crust. None. It is a one note dough bomb. They definitely aren't boiling them correctly, nor are they cooking them at a high enough temperature. This place would be out of business in 3 weeks in Manhattan. Is it the worst bagel in Atlanta? No, because aside from The General Muir, nobody really knows what they are doing with bagels here. Is it even remotely worth the price they charge for them? Absolutely not. That is an absurd price to pay for a bagel anywhere in the US. Oh, and nearly $1 extra for using a credit or debit card? You've lost my business forever. At MOST the surcharge from the bank is 3%, under the most extreme circumstances. I would strongly recommend not wasting your money on these dough balls and either heading to The General Muir for the closest thing to a decent bagel in this town, or Manhattan Bagel Deli if you're up in the Gwinnett area. These people are clearly not customer friendly, so don't overpay for a lousy product. read more

BB's Bagels is the ultimate bae goals! BB's makes authentic, New York, hand-rolled, kettle-boiled bagels every day and makes handcrafted cream cheese. No wonder they've been voted #1 bagel in Atlanta and one of the best bagel shops in America! I first tried BB's 4-5 years ago and loved it! Fast forward to now, and nothing has changed! The place is still packed on weekends. The service is still fast and efficient. The bagels are still excellent. I've tried several of their bagels and their cream cheese. However, my go to is the Fresh Nova Salmon Platter $11.49, recently tried with the flagel (flat bagel) for $13.49. The flagel is massive. Bigger than a human's head. My family loves their breakfast platters and specialties and chocolate chip pancakes. Everything comes out quickly and as described. Solid breakfast and great price points. The restaurant is small and the space is tight, but again, the staff moves quickly and efficiently so wait times aren't bad at all. yesterday I bought one cheddar bagel, toasted, plain cream cheese. one bagel sandwich, turkey, provolone, tomato, lettuce, onion, cold to go. I ate 1/2 half of the sandwich yesterday, and went to finish it today. Fortunately it fell apart and I had to put it back together to find my provolone was MOLDY! I dont know what happened to this place. It so dirty, it make Waffle House look clean. Rags in the corner, boxes piled up everywhere, cobwebs, sticky floors. Just gross. That said, the bagels are tasty. But given how gross it was, I will not be returning. In addition, the waiter was constantly vaping behind the counter, and then using his hands to fill cups with ice. Bagels are the claim here and rightly so - they are the best. The problem is the methodology of buying them . It's a draconian method of doing business. Drive up to a packed parking lot, get in line in all kinds of weather and wait for the clerk to take your order, then wait for your name to be called to the "pick-up" window. My friend picked this place out because it was a halfway point for us and she loved their bagels and coincidentally I love a good bagel! Definitely all the diner vibes with how it's set up. During the winter (or colder seasons) it seems they have just indoor seating which is very limited but they do a pretty good job turning tables and flipping seat at the high top. My one thing is that there is an unusual and somewhat unpleasant smell when you walk inside, it does go away at some point and you get used to it. I don't know the history of place but it looks older but that's what I liked about it because it seems like it's been around for a while and they sure know what they're doing. I ordered the Tex-mex omelet and was able to add sausage to it, you get to choose between toast and choice of bagel so of course I wanted to try their famous bagel. I went with the French toast one and loved it. crispy, soft and chewy just the way I like it and they give you a good portion of cream cheese that you can add yourself. Where is the sewage smell coming from? Not the lot behind them for empty garbage trucks like they claim. If it was from there then why do they dump buckets of hot water and bleach down the cracks of the decking where we order from? I love their bagels. My typical order is French toast bagel with strawberry cream cheese. Delish! BB makes their bagels fresh every day as well as their own cream cheese mixtures. The more famous ones will run out by 10/11am on a typical week day. Just remember, their bagels are best eaten the same day, when you pick up your order. read more

Hands down BEST BAGELS I've had outside of the NE! Taste and texture are exactly what you would expect from a really good NY Bagel: soft, chewy middle protected by a crispy outer crust that you can hear how good it is when you take your first bite! The bagel sandwiches are done the right way with big meats piled up beyond your bite limit. The menu is all of what you would see at a greazy spoon diner in the cities. What I thought were bagels (in the south) were not actually bagels. BBs Bagels are as close to NY style bagels that you will likely be able to find in the Atlanta area. First, this place is run down and needs a facelift. Dine in customers have to enter through a side door that is not protected from weather so it's covered in water. Our table was dirty, it hadn't been wiped off from the previous customer. When I asked them to wipe it off, the punk kid greeter gave me a dirty look and then did a quick wipe down leaving it wet. Our waitress was rude, I guess so you can get the whole New York experience (I should know, I am married to a New Yorker) not to mention that the place was half empty on a Saturday morning. The real shocker was the bill. $42 for breakfast? Really! My omelet was $14 and I thought that included the bagel and cream cheese. No that's extra $1 for cream cheese and 60 cents for the bagel. My wife had a patty melt and that was $15. The server got irritated when I asked about the additional charges so maybe that explains why no one was there. And that was $42 dollars without the tip. Want to use your credit card, be prepared for additional charges. I have been going to this place for years after this experience, never again. read more
