Happy to report my favorite bagel joint is back with a respectable health score! It was packed solid with a line to the door when I went by this morning. Not usually into their home fries... but they were on point today. Hard to beat settling in with a warm, big bagel and jalapeno cheddar cream cheese. So we placed an order for pickup over the phone. We ordered two bagels, one everything toasted with cream cheese and one French toast bagel toasted with cream cheese. We were excited to try this place since it is well reviewed always has a line of people. When we got there, we go up to pay and I confirmed with the person behind the counter that the bagels were toasted as she got our bag of food. And she said no they're not, and that you need to ask for them to be toasted. I informed her we did ask for both to be toasted over the phone(neither were). She just kinda stared at us and repeated that we needed to ask for that and proceeded to hand us our food after we paid. I am generally a very positive reviewer here but I can't say I was happy with the way this was handled. I know for a fact we asked for them toasted over the phone and even asked twice for the second bagel. I feel that it is not the right thing to knowingly give a customer something they didn't want and in no way try to fix it. It was unfortunate given this was our first time trying. With that being said my everything bagel was tasty(very salty which I don't mind), but definitely would've enjoyed it more had it been toasted. All in all I would try them out again but make sure you follow up more than once if you want your bagel toasted. I am giving 4 stars because I think this place has potential but i think they need to address their "customer service". Thanks! read more

Not sure why everyone wants to blame the owners of the restaurant for repairs on a building that does not belong to them. They have put a great deal of time and personal funds to keep the business up and running. They employee several people and give back to there community often. I was hesitant to go at first because I saw that they had a really low health score rating. So I did the next best thing...I sent a co-worker I disliked and I figured if he gets food poisoning then I'll know not to go there... From the outside it looks like a rickety dingy shack that is on its last leg. The location I should add is located where if you blink, you can easily miss it. So I always GPS this place where I am going there because I've missed my turn a couple of times. I've had the following Rainbow bagel with strawberry cream cheese....(5 stars) all the way to the end of the rainbow. And if you can finish it in one setting. You get to meet the leprechaun from the Lucky Charms cereal box. Taylor ham-egg-cheese on a everything bagel. (5 stars) this is one serious sandwich. First, it heavy as a bowling ball and the bagel is nice and chewy. I usually have it for breakfast and lunch because it's just so filling....and magically delicious! Blueberry bagels (5 stars) best blueberry bagels I've ever had. It's better than the blueberry bagels that I've had in NYC....and like all their bagels it's dense and they're generous with the blueberries. Coffee- their coffee surprisingly is quite good. I was waiting in line one day and decided I would have a cup of coffee while I was waiting...if it wasn't a little far from my office I'd hit this place every day! I've been here at least a dozen times and every time I got solid service. I have no complaints......definitely this is the place for bagels if you're in the area....by the way I heard their health score is back up again.... read more

Ventured up to BBs Bagels for one delicious breakfast! My dad used to bring home a dozen of their huge bagels on Sundays for the fam. BBs definitely has the best bagels OTP! They have both a sit down, and a To Go side of the restaurant. It looked like there would have been a wait if we sat so, we got our bagels To Go and took them over to the brand new Halcyon, which is just down the road, to people watch, shop and enjoy the beautiful weather! I feel it's my duty to tell you how amazing these bagels are... There's absolutely no reason to go to New York to get bagels NOT that there ever was a reason to go to New York. Lol get the cheddar because it's better!! OMG Crunchy on the outside nice and soft on the inside, these are legit! I'm not sure what the rave is all about in regards to their bagels being SO good. I ordered two bagels with a cream cheese and both bagels were chewy and not at all soft. I stopped by the place when my car broke down close by and here is my experience: I have ordered a breakfast - eggs, bacon, bagel and coffee. It was a mediocre quality, to say the least. Bagel was actually good. Honestly, I was not expecting much from the place - it's a roadside bagel stop. My surprise started when they presented me with the check with prices different from the menu. When I addressed this while paying the bill and debating how much tip to leave, I was told that I was correct and that they have not changed the menu yet and they had different prices now. I was still finishing my meal while waiting for a tow truck to pick me up. Another gentleman, I assume the manager or the owner, came to talk to me about my "issue" and simply asked me to leave. This is a very dishonest practice of running a business. According to the Office of Consumer Protection, restaurants are required by law to make sure that their menu prices are accurate. At no point, I was made aware that price might be different. They showed me a tiny print on the bottom that prices are subject to change, but I am pretty sure they are using this tiny print wrong. read more

This was my "go to"place that reminded me of home. I even loved the coffee because it tasted like NY coffee (if that's even a thing). I went this morning and ordered a large coffee, bagel with cream cheese and one coffee cake to the tune of $11.15. Apparently paying with a credit card will cost you a processing fee. Fine, I can live with that and get that they have to pay for customers using credit cards, but what I don't appreciate is changing the size of their large coffee to what looks to be a medium or even a small and charging the same price they did for a large. If you want to change the size to something smaller, the price should match. Extremely disappointed. I may have to find another place to fulfill my NY need. read more

I went on a Monday because I kept hearing such good things about the bagels. I went to New York a few years ago and every morning I would get a bagel from this food truck. It was thick with a lot of cream cheese so I was excited to hear about BBs. I decided to get my go-to bagel for my first time - blueberry with plain cream cheese. It was soo good. I love the thickness and cream cheese. It tasted fresh and not so artificial like some bagels at the store. I'll definitely be going back. When I went on Monday around 10a I was in and out. This is impressive even from a native New Yorker, Jewish, born in Brooklyn. Raised in western New York. Frequented the haunts of my home delis and bagel shops in lower west side of Delancey street and all that Jazz. One of the better bagels I had in a while especially in Atlanta. They are huge, almost a hubcap. But that's good thing. My son and his girlfriend joined me on a scenic tour through Milton to get to this place. When we arrived there was a number of vehicles awaiting their turn to get into this bagel place. At first with all that i read I thought it was a place where you grab and go. I did not know it was a full blown restaurant! Nestled in the middle of a New Jersey style railcar made into a deli. I because very happy because I now know it's gonna be a good a good experience!.. When we went inside there was a line forming to the left for bagel pick ups and the right was to be seated in the diner. We opted to sit on the counter, for a faster and more attentive service. My kids ordered an everything bagel breakfast sandwich with cheese and eggs, I ordered my favorite dish of all times... The whitefish salad with toasted everything bagel with lettuce tomatoes red onions, butter and whitefish salad. Awesome! Made me a very happy man along with a bottomless coffee cup. Other funny thing happened was when we were trying to sit at the bar I was making sure that we all had room and didn't want to crowd others. Upon choosing a seat and steeling in and after ordering, I then gazed up to look at the other memorabilia from the great state of New York. lo and behold, my old school was right above my seat. Lol, something, somewhere, somehow, the stars aligned last night, and dictated to me to be under the Syracuse University pennant that's tacked onto the wall. Called the wife about this place she asked to bring home some bagels and chopped liver salad. No go, they don't have that offered here, the server asked if this was my first time here. Yes was the answer she then shouted to the cashier we got newbies here... Then a bag of 6 bagels were plopped on our counter to try and enjoy. Courtesy of B&B bagels... As a secret yankee, these are the best bagels in the ATL/OTP area, hands down. They are huge, they are soft and pillowy with a crispy exterior, they are absolutely delicious. At this point, when someone tells me they've found a better bagel spot in Georgia I just laugh. And I've tried them all. Bronx bagel buggy, the general Muir, bagel boys, Brooklyn bagels, emerald city bagels. None of them compare to the size, flavor and fair price of these bagels. I have been coming here for almost a decade and never had a bad experience. Stale old southerners that expect pampering and royal treatment from staff might be a bit let down here, but as long as your skin is a little thick you'll have no issues. The staff is always fair and service is always on point. If you want a fancy shop for your IG story go somewhere else. If you want your bagel to taste like it does in NYC, come here. read more

Table saw sitting at entrance , water dripping from ice machine and overhead vent disgusting . Can they not see this ? And all this in plain site . What does it look like in the back kitchen . Great breakfast, eggs were cooked correctly for over medium, home fries a little over done. Expected cut up potatoes not canned diced potatoes. Bagel were great and exceptionally large more than enough for the meal. Coffee was great tasted excellent. Good over all quality for the money. Will stop in again that is for sure. read more

Pro: Really good food. I had the spinach and feta omelet and it was so good. I got a side of grits and they were a little bland and I had to add salt and butter, so maybe get the home fries instead. I tried to order an everything bagel to go with it but they were out (it was noon when we got there) so I had an onion bagel instead and it was still delicious. The cream cheese was $1 extra but they gave me WAY more than I needed... 2 people could probably split one cream cheese and it'd be plenty. Con: Crowded and not the best service. The waitress seemed frazzled and frustrated and didn't notice we were in her section until after we'd been there about 10 minutes. It's also kinda far away from me, so that will limit how often I return. Overall great food but maybe not the best service. Eh. You win some, you loose some. Best bagels in GA, but prepared by a lazy-ass team. To be fair I have not been back since late 2020 when I was given a completely wrong salad, sent it back, and received the exact same salad that the "cooks" has literally just scraped the chicken out (they left one at the bottom), and I guess they tried to wipe the lettuce down to remove the dressing even though it was still everywhere under the barely disguised new top layer. When I confronted the waiter, they treated me like child and attempted to convince me it was a new salad until I literally pulled the piece of chicken out and showed it to him. They offered to waive my bill after that - but how can you trust them to improve if they're immediate response is to blame the customer? I offered to pay the bill even though I didn't touch the food (or even get the right order) for no reason other than to see if they would actually charge me - well they did, and with gusto. I have been three times already. Always for takeout. The bagels are amazing as everyone states. I ask for them to be sliced and for an extra plastic bag. They do very well in the freezer. Don't forget the cream cheese. Store bought will not do. Everything about BB's is special. I am looking forward to a dine in experience. Previous reviews have stated if you show up before close, the bagels are discounted. They are now donating leftover bagels to local churches. I have had the Taylor Ham with Egg on a everything bagel. I've been coming here for a long time. Love the food. The staffs attitude can be interesting. It takes a while to order breakfast to go as you give the counter person your order, wait to pay and then the kitchen starts making it. If you're only getting bagels and cream cheese, it's easy. The credit card fees are the last straw for me. Knowing a company has a customer acquisition charge, it seems counter intuitive to charge your customers to spend money there. If BB's doesn't want to take credit cards, go all cash. Impose a minimum charge amount. But I don't do business with companies that charge me money to do business with them. read more

Wow! Best bagel I've had in the south since I left New York. No idea if they're transporting New York water or what, but their bagels taste just like the deliciousness back home. Be prepared to wait - the place was packed with a line out the door. We were there escaping hurricane Irma so this could be a big contributing factor. The to-go line moved smoothly and they nailed our extensive order perfectly and maintained their cool despite the chaotic crowd. Good bagels but not the best breakfast I've ever had. I am not familiar with New York bagels so I can't comment on that. I do like the bagels from Panera Bread and I'm not sure that these are better. I like sweet bagels so we tried the French toast, chocolate chip, and rainbow bagels (about $1.60 each?) with the kit Kat spread ($1.49). The small 2oz spread is plenty for 3-4 bagels. The bagels were soft and chewy and pretty big. However, I feel like the Panera bread bagels are tasty even without any spread or topping. I don't think I'd want to eat these plain. There just isn't much flavor to them. These bagels stand out for the size and texture but not flavor. We also tried the Taylor ham, cheese, and egg sandwich on an everything bagel ($6.59). It comes with 5 slices or so of ham. Between the bagel and ham, it was way too salty. Extremely busy spot for breakfast but the line moves fairly quickly. The workers are efficient but rather curt and definitely not very friendly or nice. Large parking lot but can be tough to find a spot on the weekend. We have been eating here a lot lately. I enjoy watching this packed restaurant do their New York thing. No frills. No touchy feely nonsense. Come in. Wait in line. Sit, order, eat, leave. We always split the big breakfast which is more than enough for two, but lately, I've been going the savory route trying the chicken salad and other sandwiches. I get the everything flagyl (sp). It's just a mashed bagel that's thin and crispy with all the onion, poppy seeds, sesame seeds, garlic, onion. I love them but get there early. When they run out, that's it. Their homemade pasta salad has New York written all over it. Delish! Usually the service is spot on but we have had a few issues in the past with cocky servers, but who cares?
