Hands down the BEST BREAKFAST BURRITO I've ever had. And my husband and son literally have a father/son tradition of Saturday morning "burrito boys" where they visit different burrito joints in LA. I got the "Basic Bae-Con" although there's nothing basic about this breakfast burrito. The chipotle aioli is to die for. And the crunchy potatoes were perfectly balanced and gave a good texture to the burrito This churro latte was also PERFECT. Perfect flavor, ratio of milk/cream, and espresso. I didn't realize they had 2 hour free validated parking until I walked up and saw their sign. But there's plenty of street parking nearby as well. I also asked for extra of their light green salsa. So fresh! I will definitely be back.

5 stars for BBAD - Breakfast Burrito All Day! I got the Chile Verde with braised pork and really enjoyed it. The potatoes pavé were easily the star of the burrito for me. They had a nice crunch on the outside and added a great texture and flavor to every bite. The braised pork was super tender, although it was a little too rich for my taste and kind of overpowered the chile verde sauce and some of the other flavors in the burrito. Still, everything came together really well and it was definitely one of the more unique breakfast burritos I've had. Would definitely come back and try the bacon burrito version!

Basic Bae-Con (bacon, eggs, cheese, potatoes with chipotle aioli). It is very good. Not greasy at all.

The very high reviews are well deserved. Yes, the burritos are pricey ( like everything else these days) but they are high quality. They are also not small. They are not enormous, either. I think the size was perfect. We tried the Chile Verde with Braised Pork and it was excellent. It was deeply flavorful. This is essentially a gourmet burrito. It contains juicy pork, potatoes and scrambled eggs. There is no filler. We also tried the Basic Bae-con (bacon, scrambled eggs, cheese, potatoes, chipotle aioli) and it was also very good. Once again, there is no filler. I think I preferred the Chile Verde burrito over the Bae because it was significantly different than your everyday burrito. Neither was the slightest bit greasy. They were both crazy fresh. The horchata was a slight letdown. It was clearly housemade but a little thin. It also could have been more flavorful. You need to be patient after ordering. I would guesstimate a good 10 minutes from ordering on the kiosk to pickup. Take this opportunity to explore the attached hotel lobby. The building is literally a 100 years old this year (2026) and the lobby is lovely. The hype is well deserved. These are excellent burritos.

My fav place for breakfast burritos in Pasadena when I'm craving something a bit heartier than Wake And Late. Must get their basic bae-con with over easy egg! They forgot our avocado add-on last time, so we ordered it again for an extra $2 and it was sadly a pre-made avocado mush. Def not worth the extra $2 and it actually made the burrito worse lol. Just keep it simple.

As someone who doesn't eat pork, breakfast can be challenging. I got their vegetarian breakfast burrito with the mushroom chorizo and it is SO dang good that I felt compelled to leave a review about it. The flavor is great. You never get a bite of just one ingrediemt. The potatoes are fire. Just *chef's kiss*

Parked on the street right across the Pasadena hotel, then entered into this cute store front. I was greeted by the store associates and they took my order. I ordered the bae-con burrito and a matcha tonic. The associate recommended the passion fruit syrup and so I took her word for it, and it was wonderful! My partner ordered an horchata and he wanted coffee too so they recommended to put an espresso, and also delicious! The burritos were a little on the pricey side and a bit salty (for my personal taste- I'm sure they are delicious for others). But overall great food, great drinks and great service!

This place is off in a hidden corner of the Pasadena Hotel and Pool lobby. The breakfast burritos were a 10 out of 10. We had the basic bae-con burrito and the mushrooms chorizo burrito. I'd drive back to Pasadena just for this place!

There's street parking to get here and likely a public lot nearby. This location is within the Pasadena Hotel, just walk in and you'll find it within the street corner of the building. It has very limited counter seating. There's a shelved wall for online orders. The staff are friendly. I got the Basic Bae-con burrito and a blueberry latte. The burrito is savory and filling. It came with a small cup of green sauce which was sweet. Overall it was tasty but not enough for the price. The blueberry latte was really good! The coffee wasn't too sweet or hot. I'd get it again.

Inside the Pasadena Hotel, at the corner facing Colorado and Mentor, bbad is raising the bar for breakfast burritos. While it's named Breakfast Burritos All Day, they're available until 2 pm. Chile Verde with Braised Pork: Inside the chewy flour tortilla, the creamy, fluffy, scrambled eggs and the crispy potatoes provide the breakfast in this burrito. The potato pavé squares are time intensive labors of love. (A pavé is a rectangular block of many thin layers of potato that looks like a tiny accordion.) Fried until golden brown, they add a wonderful crunch to the soft fillings. The braised pork contains a blend of pork shoulder and pork belly slowly roasted fruit six hours. There's great flavor and marbling from the shoulder and the belly makes it rich and juicy. The little tub of chile verde is sweet and delicious from the tomatillos and caramelized onions. One tub is not enough. The red salsa is also good. Dining Area: The tiny corner spot has a few seats along the back counter. The hotel also has a courtyard. Parking: The hotel provides 2 hour validation, but there's plenty of easy street parking.

One of my favorite breakfast burrito spots that I haven't been to in a while. They are now under new ownership so I had to come check it out to see if it still hits. I was pleased to see that they still have some of the same staff and are using the same ingredients and recipes. I thoroughly enjoyed it. And I really love the potato pavè that they use inside. A lot of people complain that the burritos aren't that big, but they don't have to be with such quality ingredients. My absolute favorite is the mushroom chorizo. Super tasty with all of their sauces and you can't go wrong with a tres leches latte. It's located at the Pasadena hotel where you eat in the lobby or patio which is a great experience at such a historic location.

Breakfast burrito review only. I ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese (BEC) burrito and it was fantastic. I enjoyed having the burrito in the hotel courtyard, which is a gem in itself! Come and support this amazing place.

I think this could be one of the better breakfast burritos throughout LA but between staff and execution of the burrito, there were too many misses. I placed an ordered online maybe 10 minutes before arriving and it was ready a few minutes after I walked in. However, when I walked in and stood at the cashier, the two girls working did not acknowledge me, ask if I needed help, greet me, anything. They both seemed to be scrambling to hand off prior orders which I don't have a problem at all waiting for my turn, but it was pretty much one handing off the bag of food to the other then handing it to the customer. They both didn't need to do one person's job. Once they acknowledged me they had my order on the pick-up shelf. It's a hefty burrito and filled will. But for $17 it hardly had any cheese, and the bare minimum aioli or sour cream was at the last few bites of the burrito, not evenly dispersed. The bacon was super crunchy, the potatoes were very crispy, the eggs were a bit dry, and overall the flavor was solid. But the side salsa sucked. A few missed that would make me return to give them another chance and hope for better results.

Bacon egg no cheese no potato.
    Brian W.

Solid breakfast burritos inside a great location-- they're a tiny place but the Pasadena Hotel clearly embraces them. And the breakfast burritos, while not exceptional, are very good, ample in size, and at least for the bacon one, loaded with bacon. Service is friendly and quick, and we were definitely glad we stopped by.

We arrived just before noon and there was already a wait list and line for a table. When checking in, we were told it would be about a half hour wait or so. It's fine, they take your number and text you to let you know when your table is ready. Also, it's advised to look at the menu beforehand as when your table is ready, you order before being seated. It did take about half an hour or so till we got seated. We originally asked for a table outside but it wasn't available so inside it was. You order before being seated and a number placards is given for the table. Menu, it has a a lot of good dishes to choose from. The last time we were here the meal was great so we knew what to expect again. Started off with some mimosas, which was about 10.00 a glass. Also water was brought out. Every single one of the staff were so friendly which is nice to walk into a place so welcoming. Friendly hi, making sure everyone was taken care of and if anything was needed. Great customer service. Drinks didn't take long to arrive followed by the first item. The cinnamon apple French toast. It was quite nice with the crunch and apple jam. Everything was great when brought out that no extra syrup was needed. Also served with whipped cream. Within a Couple minutes after that, the entrees came out. An order of the kimchi buttered fried chicken Benedict. First off, it was delicious. Two big portions of Benedict, with kimchi added and the chicken had a lot of flavors. It wasn't too powering with the kimchi and worked really well. That came with their potatoes and a side salad. And the Norwegian Benedict with smoked salmon. Basically a smoked salmon Benedict with all the trimmings. The meals were great and the dishes were massive. We've seen a couple of people sharing plates and lots of leftovers. The food was great and delicious. Service didn't take long after ordering and staff were all very friendly. The only waiting was for a table but that's a given during the weekend. They are limited in hours. Mainly breakfast and brunch but the food was great. Until next time. Parking situation is either street parking which is paid with the kiosk as well as the parking structure behind the building.

I literally got the last seat in the joint, and it's not a small place, with indoor and outdoor seating. Due to the popularity, finding parking is a bit of a chore. They have a lot but it is obviously filled to capacity with people waiting in the aisles for someone to leave. Service was very friendly and attentive. They're busy, and thankfully they employ a rather large staff of servers and busboys. And the food? It's killer. I got the pistachio latte, which was amazing and almost comically large. I also got the lavender lemonade, which is just freshly made lemonade with a lavender syrup poured in, sitting sadly on the bottom. Just stick with regular lemonade. I ordered the blueberry French toast, a side of bacon, and some hash browns - which I think they only have on weekdays. The waitress was very helpful and nice and pointed out I should get the combo with two eggs for less money. I did, even though I don't eat eggs, and took a couple cooked over hard home for my son. They looked good. The blueberry French toast was terrific. Excellent flavor, great texture, and the right balance so it wasn't too sweet overall with the syrup. The bacon was great, but it's usually hard to screw up bacon unless the stuff has gone bad. The hash browns were the only disappointment. They look good, but they are a little greasy and not very well seasoned. They're basically too bland. Still, this is one of the best breakfasts I've had in the San Gabriel Valley and around Pasadena. I can see why it's so busy, and I will definitely be back. Recommended. Just go!

I ordered the vegan famous breakfast burrito with the plant based Mexican chipotle sausage. It was just as delicious as the menu described it to be. The burrito was fully loaded with tofu eggs, which were crumbly and salted, some buttery avocado slices, crispy tater tots that were fried to perfection, and delectable and melty vegan cheese. The Mexican chipotle sausage worked so well in the burrito, adding a nice savory and meaty flavor while also adding some heat to the dish. I felt so great after eating it and it was very filling. The ambiance here was lovely and it was fun, upbeat and cheery. The seating was so comfortable and I felt relaxed and at ease while dining here. I loved the promptness and attention to detail. I didn't end up getting coffee, as I already drank 2 cups before coming here and it was barely noon. But the smell of espresso had me drooling and making me wish I could stomach a third cup! She let us know that the customers at our designated table were almost done and that they will have it ready in just a few minutes. Unfortunately, those customers decided to linger much longer. Thirty minutes later, they were still hanging around. We fully understood that this was not by any fault of the restaurant. We continued to wait patiently. The hostess was very apologetic and was trying to work out a solution which led to the Floor Manager (Karla) getting involved. We were eventually seated at another table, with the option to move should the other table become available. Karla then took the time to apologize for the wait and unfortunate first impression. As we got started with drinks and a pastry for the daughter, the other table opened. The hostess immediately came to move us. It all went smoothly from there. Table service was casual and attentive. We started with the Chocolate Almond Croissant and the Baguette & Bordier Butter. The daughter tried the Iced Matcha Latte. Lovely presentations. Very good portions. As we were finishing, Karla came to our table again to express her gratitude for our patience and understanding. Despite its popularity, I find the food to be fairly average. Much of it tastes like it's made from standard commercial food-service ingredients rather than prepared fresh. On the positive side, the prices are reasonable, the dining room has a pleasant atmosphere, and the staff is generally attentive. Overall, it's a decent neighborhood breakfast restaurant - nothing particularly memorable, but nothing especially disappointing either. The Reyn Special - 3/5. A classic breakfast plate with eggs, bacon, hash browns, and banana bread. The eggs and bacon are fairly average, although the bacon tends to be overcooked and dry. The standout is the hash browns. They're cooked with a nicely browned, crispy crust while still remaining fairly moist inside. The real highlight, however, is the banana bread. It tastes homemade and is easily the best item on the plate. Crepes - 1/5. This dish comes as two separate plates: one with the ricotta-filled crepes and another with eggs, sausage, bacon, and your choice of fries or tater tots. Unfortunately, the crepes are the weakest part of the meal. The ricotta-filled crepes don't taste freshly made and instead resemble a pre-made food-service product that's simply reheated before serving. Both the crepe and ricotta filling have a generic flavor with noticeable artificial notes. You can choose either banana or strawberry topping, but both sauces taste overly processed and artificial. The accompanying breakfast plate is noticeably better. I chose the tater tots, which were well prepared - crispy on the outside while remaining soft inside. The bacon, however, was again overcooked and dry, making it tough to chew. The sausage was acceptable but unremarkable. Scrambled Supreme - 2.5/5. Despite the name, this is essentially an omelet. The eggs have a mild, neutral flavor, and the fillings are okay but don't stand out. Coffee - 2/5. The coffee is classic diner coffee in every sense. It's somewhat watery, heavily roasted, and finishes with a flat, slightly bitter aftertaste. It's neither particularly good nor particularly bad - just standard coffee that does the job. Overall, The Reyn succeeds as a comfortable, affordable breakfast spot with a pleasant atmosphere and friendly service. While the food is average, and several dishes rely on ingredients that taste commercially prepared rather than freshly made.

My…read morepersonal favorite was the raw oysters - very fresh and the blueberry sorbet thing on the side was def very new to me. Was very refreshing for a hot day in LA. Calamari was not what I was expecting but a pleasant surprised - it tasted similar to nuoc mam wings but buttery and lighter. The chicken satay skewers were also very yummy. I really liked the pickled tiny onions on the side (they should add more than two imo). We also got the fried rice and wagyu but that wasn't very worth it in my opinion - for the price you pay extra for the meat and the portion/quality of meat it didn't feel worth it. Overall the place was good but I wouldn't say it was worthy of coming again unless a friend really wanted to try it.
