This is my go-to Korean BBQ joint. The broccoli is fantastic and the choysum (sp) is delicious. The chicken plate is hit or miss if it will be fresh or dry as is the beef. Most times the meat is fresh though and the veggies are always really good. Now they have a card they stamp when you order so eventually you get a free plate I think. My family and I are new to this Korean BBQ place and I don't know why it took us years to finally try it. Granted, we don't live anywhere near but it's worth the 10-15 minute drive. We've tried their spicy bbq pork, kalbi, bbq chicken, fried chicken wings, fish jun and of course, the famous kim chee fried rice. Wow! From my point of view, this is the one of the worse Korean restaurant. The yok gae jang had no taste, and to sum it all up the noodles were hard! The bbq beef had no taste whatsoever. Furthermore, their kalbi was straight up bones with no meat. Top all of this with crappy order takers with no customer service, who seems unwilling to serve customers. Go somewhere else. read more

Ive been coming here for a while now and its your typical Korean bbq. The good thing about this place is that they have a stamp card where you get free mandoo and a free regular size plate lunch when completed. Also they got happy hour where the prizes dropped about $2 off. But one thing I noticed is that they gave less potion of the sides. Im pretty sure they gave more than what I received. read more

I like their fish Jun & meat jun. Also their chicken Katsu. The price is reasonable especially at happy hour. They give a lot too. But for their burgers, they need to cut down on the onion lol or atleast use sweet onion cz the taste of it is tooo strong. Lol read more

I love this place! It's fast, easy, and delicious! I never had fish or meat jun before I moved here and now I'm hooked. Their good sides run out quick though. I have eaten here 3 times and regretted it everytime. But this last time was the worst! I thought "how can they mess up seaweed soup?" Everytime I've had it at various restaurants it's been good. But they messed it up! It was so sour! I could tell they put the sour seaweed in the soup, you know the one that you can choose for a sidedish. I love this place. I just wish they stayed open late so when im starving at midnight i could go get some GOOD food to eat instead of Jack in the Crack. Kinda pricy but definitely makes up for it in the taste department. I got the BBQ Chicken and chicken katsu the first time i went and it was awesome. I got 4 sides AND rice, Oh man i was so happy. The food is great. I love their side vegetables. They are very fresh. The restaurant is pretty clean too.

On my lunch break I decided to buy food in this area. I got the garlic shrimp and the pearl special. And I am pissed about the quality of the food and very disgusted. I got the pearl special for my father (who I work with) he ended up not touching ANY of the meat on that plate because of how bad it taste. It had a really bad tangy and bland taste on all of the meat (there was 3 total). My father even said that the meat itself had some type of spoiled smell to it..ew... Then I decided to try my plate and boy I did not like the smell when I opened my box of the garlic shrimp. 1) the shrimp looked like it was deep fried or stir fried in a very dirty equipment. 2) they made the shrimp with white onions which is that first time I've ever seen that. 3) the onions complete killed and got rid of every garlic smell and taste in the plate. and lastly 4) the shrimp tasted HORRIBLE ALTOGETHER!! I ate 1 shrimp and I couldn't even eat another bite, even the side dishes were horrible...I ended throwing away both plates, which cost me $26. and wasting my entire lunch break ---___--- I work a 12 hour shift with 1 break so now I have to starve for the rest of my shift. BBQ Hut might be close in location, but I don't recommend them because of the price and the poor service. The take out menu that I have states that the kalbi combo is $9.19, but the receipt reflected $12.99. I called the restaurant to inquire about the price change, but the person who answered the phone laughed, replied "you have the old menu," and then ended the conversation. The quality and quantity of the food definitely is not worth the price. I more than likely will not be going back to BBQ Hut. read more

i ordered bi bim kook so plate for my wife, to go. when i got home, i noticed a dead cocka roach inside the plate took it back to the restaurant and the owner refuse to give my money back, but instead want to give me another plates. why would i get another plates knowing that there may be more roach in there. i would never eat this place again. and the manager is very rude. read more

We have been coming to this place since opening with the previous owner. The new owners were really great in the beginning but this place has really started going downhill. The most noticeable thing is the portions-- Kalbi which I really like, was just 2 small skimpy pieces of meat which looks as if it were cut from one piece of meat --unbelievable...this for $9.99? The previous owner started doing the same thing and lost customers... On a positive note, vegetables are always fresh and service is good. Horrible!!!!! They are only getting 1 star because I need to submit a rating to write this review. If it was up ti me they would get NONE! I ordered 4 plates to go last night spent close to $50. When I got home they had given me the complete wrong order. Not one plate was correct. Not one plate contained anything my family would eat. I live 30 minutes away and it was close to 8 pm I was not about to drive all the way back with my children who needed to eat and go to bed. It took me 20 minutes of continuous calling until they finally answered the phone. I explained what happened and the employee Edmond remembered who we were and admitted to his mistake. He stated we could come in the next day and he would credit us our meals. Well once we got there the next day he Refused to give us our credit or meals stating that we grabbed the wrong plates. No he handed us the wrong plates. I will NEVER eat from this place again nor recommend this place to anyone. read more

1st time to taste Seaweed soup sour, their foods not that great either. Vegetable look old, no more taste. The worker there is not nice. I ask them about the Seaweed Soup, she gave me the answer is "I don't Know" When I asked if I can change other foods, her answes is "I don't think so" What kind of staffs the owner hiring??? I went into the restaurant for a Bubble Tea. I had noticed the lady behind the counter was snuffling and whipping her nose while making drinks and preparing the food. When I came up to the counter I politely asked her if she could wash her hands before making my drink for me. The lady then gave me a look while saying "uhh okay?" When she started to make my drink she took the blender to the back to wash it and came back to the front with some water already in it.... not washing her hands still... and continues to make my drink. When she walked to the back she went straight to whoever was washing the dishes. All I could think was that she was doing something or using non-potable water. I have been in the restaurant before and loved it so I talked myself into it all being in my head. Since drinking my drink my stomach has been upset, I have not been able to eat anything.
