Stopped here for dinner last night. Their berry salad was generous portions and had blueberries, blackberries, strawberries and feta cheese on a bed of luxurious greens! I had brought my own raw almonds so I added that for protein. Kind of pricy at $17.99 (especially because I forgot to pick up the salad dressing), so I was glad to have my 10% discount from my pass. They were setting up for live music on the tiny bandstand by the outdoor seating as we were finishing up. (At about 7). Service was okay but I think the cashier was confused when I showed her my pass. She asked, "oh, do you want to use your 10% discount now?"--are you surprised? When else would I use it? It's not as if it's a single use coupon...oh well, maybe she was being trained. The mashed potatoes I tried from my friend's plate were so good! Garlicky and with some peel still there.
SEASONAL MENU ITEM! I tried the Loaded Turkey Sandwich at Boardwalk BBQ and it was like Thanksgiving all wrapped in a nice little bun! This spot is like most of the places at Knotts, you walk up to the server, and tell them what you want, then go down the assembly line, cafeteria style! The sandwich was quite a popular menu item, because when I arrived to the front, they had me wait to the side as they prepared more ingredients for it. The turkey was nice and moist, and the gravy was yummy! The cranberry sauce added a nice touch and it all came together really well. The bread could've been yummier, like a garlic roll or a sweet Hawaiian bread maybe, but overall it was a good theme park festive sandwich! Would definitely consider getting it again when I come back!

I decided to stop by Boardwalk BBQ after hearing good things about the place, and because my friend really enjoys it. I ordered the 1/2 rotisserie chicken with mac & cheese, which came with cornbread. I shared the meal with my friend since we were trying a few other things from different spots, but I'll focus on this dish. The mac & cheese was surprisingly good; it was not as creamy as I'd hoped and a little on the bland side, but still pretty decent. They do offer condiments and extra seasoning to adjust the flavor to your liking. The chicken had some hits and misses. The breast meat was on the dry side, but a little BBQ sauce fixed that. The leg meat, though, was juicy and flavorful. The cornbread was just okay, but my friend loved it, so it worked out. One thing I like to note is that the food wasn't piping hot, it was really more lukewarm or room temperature. Also, if you decide to eat there, be aware that seating is limited. There are some outdoor tables available, but if the park is busy, you might have a hard time finding a spot. When my friend and I went, there were maybe 1 or 2 tables free, and we were lucky enough to snag one. There are a few other dining areas around, but I'd assume those would be filled up too if the park is crowded. Overall, for an amusement park, it was still a pretty solid meal.
The "All Day Dining Plan" ($34.99) is a phenomenal choice for Boardwalk BBQ (Knott's Berry Farm) . [This plan ($34.99) - allows select entrees to be free ALL day! Just a 90-minute wait time between meal redemptions. Purchasable online or in-park.] I arrived at Boardwalk BBQ (Knott's Berry Farm) on Saturday (around 1PM). The line moves very fast! In a few short minutes, I reached its counter. I ordered the 1 Entree & 1 Side Choice. I selected Pulled Pork and Mashed Potatoes. This meal (free with the "All Day Dining Plan") came with complimentary Corn Bread. The food arrived fast with a cafeteria-style presentation. I was pleasantly surprised with my meal. The food came lukewarm, but its flavors and textures were satisfying. The Pulled Pork is very tender (almost pre-crushed), sweet, & savory. The Pulled Pork almost felt juicy as it broke away easily in my mouth. The Mashed Potatoes are shockingly well-seasoned. Its buttery, salty, and creamy. And the Corn Bread is crumbly and gentle with corn kernels. I left full and satisfied. Staff is professional and helpful. Staff is also quick. I felt welcomed and informed. Concerning ambiance, the dining area is outside and well-shaded. The location is fairly clean for a busy amusement park. There's also plenty of tables and chairs. I enjoyed the upbeat 50s music that bounced from its speakers. Also, Boardwalk BBQ (Knott's Berry Farm) is near the Supreme Scream Ride, so it was entertaining watching visitors scream as they're dropped down in plain view. Overall, Boardwalk BBQ (Knott's Berry Farm) is a fantastic choice for the "All Day Dining Plan" ($34.99). I left full and satisfied with a chipper smile. 4.7 out of 5
Best food we've had so far at Knotts! Super fast service! Lots of cute picnic tables! A live band! An outdoor sink because...BBQ We've come here twice because we love it!
I have the Knotts season pass with meal and drink plan add-ons. Thursday during first week of the bosenberry festival. Bosenberry mashed potatoes. Ok. I added a little of the mild BBQ sauce. Delicious! Bosenberry meatloaf it was good. I added a little mild bbq sauce. It was even better. Definitely will be getting again before the end of the season!
We have the Knott's meal pass and this is one of our favorite places to dine at the park. Their menu is seasonal and changes often. The portions are generous and the food is actually decent quality. Our favorites are the brisket, chicken, and meatballs. The mashed potatoes and dirty rice and pretty good sides and the corn bread it comes with is yummy too. It is cafeteria style where you order your food at the counter and they serve it in front of you, then you eat outside. Worth a stop if you're at Knott's!
First time eating here, we have the dining pass so our meals were free. I had the pulled pork sandwich and the +1 had the Mac and cheese platter with pulled pork on top. The Mac and cheese was good, I wish it was a bit creamier, but it's Knott's and they're churning it out like crazy. The corn bread was good, slightly dry, but good nonetheless.
Located inside knotts berry farm. I tried the tritip with side of vegetables and corn bread. There are also various BBQ sauces. I was very pleasantly surprised by the taste of everything. Very good. Also got a drink for their boysenberry drink but sadly this time their machine made it so diluted tasting. They have covered patio seating and wasn't too crowded.

What really sets this dish apart, though, are the chicken tenders. These aren't the typical frozen, uniform tenders you'll find elsewhere in the park. Update 10/2024 There was a very hard working employee cleaning tables. Since I left my review last, I noticed that there are now people cleaning tables outside, and bussing trays. Today they did not have the seasonal special, which is a monster mash. However, their tri-tip today was 10/10! I had stopped getting the tri-tip before because it was so dry, but it was so good and tender today. Kudos to Knotts for stepping up!
Whenever I come to Knott's I always go here to get their rotisserie chicken. It's delicious and fresh, they have a huge rotisserie oven there so they make it in house. You get 1/2 a chicken, 1 side, and cornbread. I usually go for the corn as my side item. The employees are friendly and efficient here. Ambiance is nice, grab your food, pay the cashier, and go find a table outside in the outdoor seating area. This spot is my go to place for rotisserie chicken.

Got this item as part of the 1-day ticket unlimited food option. 100% Great ticket option for those wondering if they should get it! You can get food every 1.5 hours while in the park, which is enough to share between 2 people if you're good about getting meals on time. Chicken (8/10) - Comes with Cornbread + 1 side (we got mac and cheese) - Regarding the chicken itself...YUM! Juicy, soft, and HUGE! It's not just a single thigh, but literally half a chicken. It's a huge portion size for 1 person, meaning easily sharable between 2 people. Roasted until the outside is relatively crispy while maintaining a juicy interior - Cornbread was good, nothing special yet nothing bad about it - Mac and Cheese was slightly on the drier side, but still paired super well with the chicken Overall, great option and great portion sizes at the Boardwalk BBQ! Definitely go for the all day dining ticket if possible, otherwise prices may seem a little steep. Next time will definitely be back to try the brisket. read more
They brought back the tri tip for the meal plan and it was really tasty! We were lucky and got a fresh batch so judging based off that too. Sad to see no mashed potatoes! The Mac and cheese was average this visit. It's very hit or miss but service was quick and the cashiers were friendly. Plenty of outdoor seating too. read more
I really wanted something different from my usual but I sadly regretted that decision! Service is cafeteria style. It's efficient. Unfortunately I got their session Philly cheesesteak hoagies with cornbread. The bread was dry. I didn't care for the cheesesteak. The cornbread was also dry. At least the outdoor seating with great entertainment. I'll stick with my usual meal at Casa California! read more

Boardwalk BBQ was surprisingly decent. I say that because most of the food inside the park, wasn't all that. But this BBQ spot, definitely surprised us. This is included in the all day dining meal deal. They serve chicken, meatballs, macaroni and cheese, potatoes and beans. The baked beans were really good! Same with the potatoes. Those had really great flavor. The macaroni and cheese was spicy. Too spicy for me. And the guys enjoyed the meats (chicken and meatballs). The corn bread was good alsoNot a bad food stop inside the park. There's outdoor seating. read more
Best BBQ in the park IMO. All the food is cooked to a soft perfection, so nothing chewy or rubbery. The cornbread texture is slightly moist inside with a slight crispy outside, not dry! The tri-tip and pulled pork can be easily cut. Many great tastes as well. More details below. It's hard to decide between Boardwalk BBQ and Prop Shop Pizzaria. Menu items are different yet serving portions are large and keeps one filled up. I usually come here for BBQ. (No turkey leg or corn-on-the-cob here, only at Fireman's.) You can select either a platter, a bowl, or a Brioche bread (IN a bowl) where YOU build it the way you want on it: - Platter includes one entree, one side, section of cornbread. - Bowl includes one entree, one side. - Brioche Bun with Mac-N-Cheese includes one entree placed on top of the Mac-N-Cheese between brioche bread. - Entrees: Roasted 1/2 chicken, BBQ chicken winglets, Pulled Pork, or Tri-Tip (others may be available based on season or event). - Sides: Mac-N-3Cheese, Roasted Vegetables, Corn, Potato Wedges, Coleslaw, Baked Beans (others may be available based on season or event). FAVorites: Entree - Pulled Pork with Tri-Tip a very close 2nd Side - Mac-N-3Cheese with Roasted Veggies as the backup. Highly recommend for yourself, as a couple, or as a large group. Knott's Berry farm could be more efficient if they allowed you to order from the app and had up to date wait times for both rides, restaurants, and attractions. I think boardwalk BBQ is the best restaurant in terms of what you get and how much of it you get. The plates here can easily be shared. You often see people throw away a hefty amount of leftovers. Also, it's possible to get a to-go box instead of a plate. Bbq sauce is outside and you have to get it on your own. read more
delicious spot for some bbq at knotts! location is easy to find and the line is easy to navigate. lots of outdoor seating to enjoy the sun and see the rides for the tri tip platter. which comes with a side and cornbread the meat was surprisingly very tasty and tender! try it with their boysenberry bbq sauce ( a bit sweeter than normal bbq sauce). some pieces were very fatty i tried both potatoes and mac n cheese for the sides. potatoes are heavily seasoned and perfectly roasted the mac and cheese could use some more flavor and be a bit less dry they give out generous portions! and i loved this meal! read more
Food was on par with cafeteria food. I was here for knotts spooky farm so I tried out some of their specials. Alligator meat hotdog was actually really good and I was satisfied. I've never tried rabbit before and I prob won't ever. Not that it was bad but definitely had a bit of a gamey aftertaste. Overall definitely overpriced for mediocre foods. read more

Boardwalk BBQ was alright for our first meal at Knott's Berry Farm. Would I go back again? Probably not. I learned a lot on our visit on 4/18/22. With my AAA membership, I bought one of those deals that comes with parking, entrance to KBF, and a meal plan. I originally wanted to go to Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner Restaurant, but that is technically not "inside" the park, so the meal plan was invalid there. I got the boysenberry chicken wings, roasted veggies and cornbread with a fountain drink. There were only 5 wings. They slipped in a potato wedge which may have looked like a wing, but... lol. The roasted veggies were hard and chewy. Cornbread was good. Half of the drinks that were available were watered down. My brother said the half chicken was good as did my youngest daughter. My oldest daughter wasn't crazy about her pulled pork. I tried it. I could see why... bless their hearts. While they do (for the most part) pile on the food for adult meals, it's just not juicy, fresh, or all that flavorful. None of it. My brother and I checked out their beer selection and rolled our eyes. Lol. We waited at peak lunch time for about half an hour. It's a cafeteria style ordering system. Then good luck finding an empty table in the reasonably large courtyard outside. A very nice young lady and her friends waved me over and offered their table to us. So thankful because my crew had worked up quite the appetite. read more
This spot has some great options for lunch and dinner! We really like the tri-tip with the homemade mashed potatoes & gravy, corn bread and we also get a side of corn. Oh and just a note, they offer self serve bbq sauces - mild, boysenberry & spicy. The spicy is pretty spicy (and we like spicy stuff). *Our friends had the roasted chicken - and they said it was really good - very juicy - not dry at all! They also have beer on tap - we got the boysenberry Ale. It's really good and refreshing! The boysenberry flavor is subtle. It you have a meal plan, this meal is definitely a good deal. Otherwise it's 18.50 -- and for us, it's good enough for 2 people! So far, this spot is one of our favorites!! Enjoy! read more
Hello yelpies, this has been one of my go to spots here at knotts berry farm to eat. The line goes by pretty quick since it's buffet style, you pick your items while the staff serves them on the plate for you. Once you have your food check out is at the end. You have condiments outside in the dining area. I do recommend adding some more parasoles on sunny days to help with shade. My go to is the 3 cheese Mac n cheese bowl with pulled pork. I like the veggie side since it's cooked & seasoned just right. The veggie variety is also nice. The ambience in the dining section can be a bit loud at times but the theme park has many other places to sit to eat. read more

Excellent Quick Service! We arrived 30 mins after they opened and there was no line. Food was fresh and service was streamlined. When you enter there are two directions you can take. The right is for food and the left is for drinks. The dining plan is accepted here and portions are super generous!! We ordered the pulled pork and pesto pasta. You have the choice of one meat option and one side. Pro Tip: shortest alcohol lines in the park for sure! read more
We decided to give Boardwalk BBQ a few tries to see how the food was after seeing so many recommendations from persons in social media groups and online video sites. Honestly, I'd have to give their food a 3/5 star rating. The extra star is more so the friendly customer service from all of their staff. Your seasonal meal plan includes one entree, one side, and a piece of cornbread. You can add on additional sides or entrees for an additional fee, and they do serve alcohol at the end of the counter. You pay for your food and add ons or scan your pass in the next part of the building, though, if you're not purchasing alcohol. The best item to us is their rotisserie chicken. It was very moist, juicy, and flavorful. We didn't realize that the BBQ Pulled Pork sandwich was Carolina Style, and was loaded with mustard. We were expecting a boysenberry flavored BBQ sauce, but left with a tangy, salty sandwich. The Teriyaki Flank Steak was overly salty and drenched in too much sauce, and was very unbearable to eat. The meatballs were pretty good, definitely not dry on the inside, and the perfect amount of sauce on the outside. The Boysenberry BBQ wings weren't as good as during the Boysenberry festival. They were very soggy and tasted very slimy, unlike the crispiness we were expecting from a few months back. My wife was not a big fan of their mac and cheese, although i found them to be pretty decent. We like to get the potato wedges, as our little one likes to chew on them. The beans were pretty flavorful as well. The cornbread, though can be very hit and miss. When they're made right, the bread breaks down very well and compliments the meal, but if they don't make it moist enough, it's like eating sand. Plenty of seating outside and there's a refill station on the outside so you don't have to go all the way through the entire line. read more

Despite the long wait, the food was better than I expected. I got the tri-tip with Mac and cheese and cornbread and the chicken tender plate as well. The tri-tip was juicy and delicious. The bbq sauce that they provide is self serve and it had a little kick to it which I liked. I also got the boysenberry pie which pleasantly, wasn't too sweet. There wasn't a lot of seating so be prepared to find a table before you sit down! read more

I LOVE this restaurant joint SOOO MUCH!! It is the best food joint out of all the other food joints in Knotts Berry Farm! Boardwalk BBQ isn't stingy in their food! The portions are GENEROUS and its serving size for one person is about a 2 to 3 serving size for 1 person! Also, they have many varieties of fountain dranks as well! Here are my favorites: Tri-tip steak (entree): The tri-tip steak is cut up into slices that are small-medium thick size. You are given an estimated of 5 pieces or so. The steak is juicy, tender, and not dry! Even if you microwaved it the quality is still great! I wish though that it had a little bit more sauce because it can be bland if you is a saucey kind of person like meh! Mac & Cheese (side): OH MY GOODNESS GRACIOUS! This is/was the BEST mac & cheese that I ever tasted in my life! There is something about this side that is SO FUNKEN BOMB! Once you've devoured this there will never be another mac & cheese to replace this kind ever! The portion size is HUGE and great for two persons if you wanted to share! Potatoes (side): These are sooooooo delicious as well! The way that Boardwalk Bbq seasoned their tatoez is DELICIOUSNESS! The size of the potatoz are not small but medium to large! Corn on the cobb: Savory yet sweet! Sooo delicious and you are given a full cobb as well! Cornbread (size): YUMMM! The best cornbread that I have ever indulged! It reminded me of a cupcake that is NOT dry but just right! Lastly, the MANY choices of fountain drinks to choose from! I do believe this is the only place that has many choices of fountain drankz! Now here is my non-fave but I still enjoyed da food: Wings (entree): Yes! Knotts has wings! I loved how there was enough meat and sauce, but, I thought it had too much black pepper on it. You are given a good amount and it leaves ya full because it left me full when i hadn't finished indulging da wings! Also, I do believe that it didn't need any extra sauce such as bbq for my preference of liking either. Bbq beans: Has a hint of spice but goes well with the tri-tip steak when I doubled dipped into it!! What I didn't enjoy eating: Bbq pulled pork: Don't get me wrong the bbq pulled pork was very tasty but at the same time very salty to my taste budz. The portion size is HUGE & generous! Bbq ribs: It was dry and hurted my throat when consuming and down my esophogus! The size of the ribs are GENEROUS! I also thought that it needed more sauce as well. Boysenberry bbq sauce: I did not enjoy it at all and tasted like pickled berries sauce. If you are not a pickled whatever eater fan then I suggest to skip this one. The food had no bag to be placed in but only boxes. Like we suppose to carry the box of food whe walking around Knotts? Definitely a stop on the map. They have this new thing the macaroni and cheese loaf. It has bacon pineapple corn other things it's really good. I have the all-season dining pass so I've been here a couple times and it's worth it. read more
My friend and I were at Knott's this past Sunday. We winded up our Knott's visit at Boardwalk BBQ. We hung out here for a little bit... didn't eat anything though. It's a pretty clean and organized restaurant. Big patio outside dining. They even have a stage for performance. If we hadn't eaten at Prop Shop Pizzeria earlier, we probably would have eaten here instead. You have lots of dining options. Pick wisely to satisfy your appetite! read more
Purchased the dining plan for $33 (You can eat all day long and get your meals every 90mins.) This is our first meals. The Tri-tip was taste pretty good and the Roasted Chicken was tender but the steamed vegetables and cornbread were dried and old. There is outdoor seating. read more

One meat (tri tip, pulled pork, chicken, ribs, sausage), one side (Mac and cheese, baked beans, roasted potatoes, corn), and a cornbread. Two meals a day, 4 hours apart!
