One of our friend is moving out of State and we decided to treat them at BBQ Stop. We can chat and talk while food are being cooked. First of all the over all service was pretty good except for asking for bring more water and check. We went there with party of five. We all decided to order the $29.99 All You Can Eat Deal. They do have one other cheaper deal. At first our juice from the meat wasn't draining and they pretty quickly fix the issue. There are good verity of meat and seafood as well as the side dishes that we can order. The salad comes in a smaller size bowl so we have to kept asking for refill, because 3 person take the salad it is already empty. The have huge tent and good amount of staff during our visit. Waiters were all pretty nice and responsive. They allow 4 type of meat to be order at a time. It really doesn't matter since they will come by and ask if you need more. Ate at BBQ Stop last Friday with some friends. For a group of 5, we arrived around 7 p.m. but were not seated until close to 8 p.m. Parking here is a nightmare and I recommend parking across the street if coming during peak hours, unless you prefer to pay for valet. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor dining options, but we opted to sit outdoors which added to our wait time. The outdoor seating is spread out nicely, but the staff could have done a better job cleaning our table and seats before seating us. BBQ Stop only offers AYCE. So it'll definitely hit the spot. That said, the quality of the meats here isn't as high as other Korean BBQ restaurants in my opinion. Some meats, such as the beef tongue and galbi, were far chewier than what I normally tend to expect from Korean BBQ. Since it is AYCE, the meat is not cooked for you. Service consists of the servers simply bringing out what you order. We had to place orders multiple times with multiple servers before some items were brought out. Oftentimes, not all items were brought as well, so it became more strategic to order excessively and just see what sticks. Given how several restaurants are still recovering and adapting to coming back out of the pandemic, I try to be more patient with service. But overall the service here was sub-par during the majority of our meal just due to how many times we had to ask for the same item before it was finally brought to us. On the plus side, the wait staff near the end of the night was very friendly and allowed us to have multiple scoops of ice cream to end the night. Overall, BBQ Stop isn't bad, but isn't great. This is a great place to chow down and indulge your Korean BBQ cravings. Quality of proteins (eg meat & seafood) are good, additional side dishes/condiments are yummy as well. The only downside is the constant rush of customers. They are typically always crowded and the wait times are long. That said they have a nifty app that puts you on a waitlist and you can leave and come back when you're called. Overall this a fantastic eatery, you won't be sorry for trying it out. Very solid, local AYCE Korean BBQ restaurant. I have dined here multiple times throughout the years, but never felt that this place was worth writing a review for. My boyfriend and I came for dinner last Saturday night, and it was probably one of the best dining experiences that we have had here in a while. We ordered from column B - 38 items - $24.99 per person. Some of my favorite items from A and B are: thin sliced brisket, Hawaiian pork chop, steamed egg, beef short ribs, pork jowl. When you start to get full, I like that BBQ Stop gives you the option to order half orders, so don't waste food! Danny was our server and he was amazing; I felt that he could read our minds and knew exactly what we needed. He even suggested that we cook kimchi on the grill and mix it with our pork jowl, which was delicious and I wish I thought of it sooner. I saw how he interacted and treated the tables around us, and I can guarantee that they had a positive dining experience as well. Overall, BBQ Stop's taste and quality of food is better than Gen Korean BBQ, Thirsty Cow, and restaurants similar in price to that. Came here last night for with a party of 5 around 8pm and we were seated right away. Overall the restaurant is very clean and has a modern feel. Service was also great. I wish I took down the name of our server but she was GREAT! Super nice and patient with my table. Since it was our first time, we wanted to try a couple different meats but only small plates of it and she was able to accommodate all of our requests. Service 10/10 FOOD - 9/10 Our party opted for the $24.99/per person AYCE dinner premium menu. Since this was our first time here we wanted to be able to pick the premium beef options. Highly recommended items from my table were the Marinated Beef Ribs, Hawaiian Pork, Brisket, Cheese Fondue, Beef Belly, Steak, basically anything is good. We loved the cheese fondue option! The only thing that was a bit disappointed was that there was no potato salad and the steamed egg was not good. Other than that, this has become one of our favorite kbbq spots. Came here for AYCE dinner for the first time tonight around 5:45 PM on a Saturday night with a party of 5. By this time, it was pretty full. We did have to wait about 10 minutes for a table, but not because there were none available, but I think they were low on waiters. By the time 6:00 PM came, I saw a few workers walk in, which was about the time we were finally seated. FOOD: Our table tried the brisket, fresh pork belly, garlic pork belly, bulgogi, marinated beef, steamed egg, and the spicy tofu soup. My favorite was the fresh pork belly and the bulgogi. The garlic pork belly was okay, but the garlic kind of overpowered the pork belly, so you couldn't taste it's fat and flavor as much. Brisket was never my favorite anywhere, so it was whatever to me. I never had marinated beef at a Kbbq before, so this was my first time trying it. It wasn't bad; it has a sweet taste to it like bulgogi and it wasn't tough or anything. The steamed egg was good. I did not, however, like the spicy tofu soup here. I think I'm too used to eating that at like tofu house or something. Service: The service here was great. Our main waitress was someone named Juliana, I believe. She seemed really friendly with us and always made sure we were doing okay. Another waitress that helped us was named Vivian? I'm pretty sure I spelled her name wrong because I remember seeing an "e" in her name, but she was making sure we were doing okay as well. The only thing that bothered us, was that every time we put the fire up, someone would walk by and lower it. I do not know if it's because they have to keep it at a certain temperature or not, but we kept turning it up every time they left. Parking: This place is located in a plaza, but the parking spaces are compact. It might be a little difficult to find parking since the spaces are tight, and people would double park. We just parked further into the plaza, but the structure of the parking lot seemed poorly made, at least to me. They also give out free ice cream at the end of your meal, so if you feeling dessert, make sure to save some room. The flavors they offered, at least for this night, was green tea, chocolate malt, butter pecan, and rainbow sherbet. I got the green tea ice cream and I can honestly say that it was one of my favorite green tea ice cream that I have tried. I've tried several places that had green tea ice cream, but this one was one of my top, if not the top. read more

Came here for lunch in a group of 11 and 3 of us ended up with stomachaches and long trips to the restroom afterward, so although I'd love to give this place a higher rating, I'm mildly traumatized. The lunch price seemed pretty appropriate. During our meal, two things fell from our air vent (?) above and down onto the cooking area. We could laugh about it because it didn't touch the food, but we were also rightly grossed out. I didn't see the first weird thing drop but my coworkers did, but the second one we all saw. It was a big clump of black burnt/grimy-looking substance and oil. Before I could finish my mental debate about taking a picture of it, it oozed down a crack and into the fire. Not the most reassuring sight but it was okay because again, it didn't touch the meat. I liked the beef belly and bulgogi here, although not so much the beef brisket. The steamed egg is delicious. My favorite of the banchan was the cucumber, and although I thought the mustard macaroni salad (???) was questionable, a coworker of mine seemed to like that. Our server (Julius?) was quick to get us our orders, which is no easy feat with such a big group. Overall, service was great. At the end, we were offered the choice of ice cream in two flavors-- chocolate malt or chocolate chip. I chose chocolate malt, but later we were told that only chocolate chip was available. A bit of a disappointment, but I won't complain about free ice cream. Also, it was quality ice cream (and two scoops!) not the weird soft serve kind. read more

Great, quality meat and service! Our server, Kevin, was generous, attentive and accommodating for our party of 6. Even wished me a happy birthday and got me ice cream with a candle on it. On a Friday night, we opted to be seated outside (10 min wait) since capacity was limited inside (30-45 min wait). We ordered the AYCE combo B and B stands for BALLIN! That comes with more meat selections including those beef rib fingers and pork jowl, bruh, those were FIRE. That beef belly was killer, I'd eat that 8 days a week. Parking was rough but they offer valet for $3 (we parked in the neighborhood across the street because we only ballin on a budget). This is one of my favorite all you can eat KBBQ places of all time. They have a great outdoor dining set up and all the servers wear masks and face shields. Great and safe pandemic precautions! Before I get into the food, I just want to talk about the service. I don't know a any restaurant in 626/Rowland Heights area with service as great as BBQ stop. Our waiter Glen, was the friendliest guy ever and still provided amazing customer service despite how busy and stressed he looked. I have never seen someone carrying that many plates of meat at once before! Thank you Glen and the entire BBQ Stop staff for being so hardworking and for providing the best KBBQ experience!!! The meats are very good quality and they have a HUGE selection to choose from. Our favorites were the LA Kalbi, Beef tongue, Brisket, Pork Jowl, Rib Finger Meat and the Marinated Beef Ribs. All the meats perfectly complimented their multitude selection of dipping sauces! The side dishes are delicious too! We loved the fish cake and japchae especially! I don't know what they put in the salad dressing, but I couldn't stop eating the salad. Best KBBQ salad ever. Period. Steamed egg and tofu soup is good too! They give FREE ICE CREAM for dessert and the portion sizes are freaking MEGA SIZED. Me and my friends had the green tea and chocolate malted crunch, which were the perfect way to end our meal. Went here twice in a span of a month to eat some ayce kbbq with outdoor covered seating. In my opinion, the meat quality is pretty good for ayce compared to other kbbq spots. If I remember correctly, there was a yelp waitlist one of the times I came which I thought was very convenient, but then the other time they didn't have it. The wait wasn't too long but it does get busy in the prime times and parking is kind of limited. So many choices of meats, stews, seafood, etc. I would recommend getting the option B so you can get LA Galbi. Ask for the radish and rice paper so you can wrap the meats and eat it! They might be understaffed so it was hard to get a server at times. I wish they had the bell service. The tables are very spaced out so that was nice. If you ask someone who isn't your designated waiter for something, they will still help out and get you whatever you need. We typically order the "A" meal which comes with over 25 choices of meat, veggies, eggs, cheese, soup, and rice for $22/person. If you want to splurge, you can go with the "B" meal for $25/person with a few more options. Brisket, Bulgogi, and Hawaiian pork chops with steamed egg and cheese are my favorites. It also comes with AYCE Thrifty Ice Cream! Usually they have 4-5 rotating flavor choices. There may be a little bit of a wait for a table, but it is worth it. read more

My husband and I have been coming here for about 3 years now. We are regulars who come in at least once a week. Everyone knows us and is extremely nice . They've made us feel like we are family. When we come in, everyone helps us .. even if the aren't our server they always check in on us . We Never have to ask for refills. Love their different flavored soju.I recommend this place to so many friends and will never have Korean BBQ anywhere else. We use to live in diamond bar and now live in corona but will still drive out here because it's worth it. Came here on a Tuesday night to celebrate my grandma's birthday and support a local business. I waited about an hour for a party of 5 before being seated. Knowing that we would need to leave the restaurant within 50 minutes (because of the curfew), we ordered 4 plates of meat and a few steamed eggs as soon as the waiter arrived. After receiving our first two plates of meat, we noticed that we hadn't gotten our side dishes yet. We asked the waiter, and he let us know that they ran out of salad and every side dish except radish paper; however, I did see another table get refills on their side dishes a few minutes later. In addition, some of the items we had ordered were often forgotten about, so we had to put in several new orders. That being said, I don't think we were fairly charged for the AYCE price when we didn't get the full kbbq experience in terms of service and food variety. Although side dishes can be considered complimentary, I was extremely disappointed with my meal. Considering that my grandma and mom can't eat much meat and were looking forward to the side dishes the most, it would have been nice if they had told us that they had run out before we started eating. read more
