Rude wait staff at the bar. Manager did not engage in a conversation when I asked to address the unprofessional behavior of the bar staff. Ordered 5 lbs of crawfish to go. Not a big deal in terms of an order. Waited over 30 min for the order and had to re-order at least once because they forgot about my order. Manager ended up getting other customers involved in the discussion with me which had absolutely nothing to do with my issues. Have been to many other BBs around Houston with great service and no problems. Will never come back to Webster BBs again. Very disappoining to say the least. If you are in the area, I highly recommend Sams Boat on NASA 1 as a great alternative in terms of service, professionalism and quality of food. read more

When my husband and I saw that a BB's near home was opening up, we were really excited. This is our go to place for Thanksgiving fried turkeys. So happy my husband doesn't have to drive out to the Heights anymore! The place was busy but we were seated quickly. Our waitress, Azalei (sp), was in training, and she was so sweet. She was friendly and very eager to get things right. I ordered the Jazzy Shrimp Trio. The fried shrimp and the blackened shrimp were really good but the shrimp etouffee was not. The roux was all flour. I know that's a main ingredient but that was ALL I could taste. I wish I'd ordered just the fried or blackened shrimp. Even though I was not a fan of the etouffee, I give it 3 stars because their fried turkeys are delicious and because every staff member we interacted with was super friendly. read more

So the wife let me decide on a place for dinner and I choose BB's for our 1st time, wow!! Blown away! Wife loves bloody Mary's and it was exactly what she wanted we started with a chicken appetizer that was great!! We both got the reddish plates, food was amazing! The only complain I had was the the greens were a bit under seasoned, I'm used to smoked pork or turkey but these were probably vegan... still wasn't bad!! "this was my first time at BBs and my girlfriend and I enjoyed the food very much. What I didn't like was our waitress Oliva. She kept getting in between our chairs and just directing everything to me and disrespected my girlfriend in the sense that she is also a client. She kept saying she was so tired to the point we felt rushed to go. And at the time to pay she did the same thing again totally forgot my girlfriend was there and just came to me and I honestly felt pressured to leave her a tip. We will not be coming back to this location. I don't understand the need to sell yourself to get money all you had to do was be nice say hi take orders and leave unless they otherwise make conversation with you. Was disappointed there was no lunch menu. I ordered the catfish dinner but requested it blackened instead of fried. Just didn't meet my standard for the price ($14.99). It came with fries, coleslaw, and hush puppies (2). The catfish filets were small (4) and extremely greasy the fries too were so heavily saturated with oil I couldn't eat them. Hush puppies were however, decent but small. I'll have to satisfy my Cajun food pallet elsewhere from now on. read more

Great service! Sat in bar area at a high top on a Monday night. Our waitress Britney was very responsive and knew the menu. She let us know about the 5$ gumbo special so we shared that as an app. Yummy chicken and sausage. A little heavy on the roux. Andouille has good flavor without being too spicy. A bit more hot sauce would have made it even better. We loved the little nuggets of yumminess aka hush puppies served with the gumbo. We almost ordered hush puppies to have more. We both had the blackened red fish. I had mine with the shrimp and hubs had the ettoufee. I think the spicy sauce with mine was much better. The shrimp were over cooked but that is a very hard thing to do with blackening. They were sadly out of greens so we both had the green beans which were very tasty and loaded with Parmesan. I also had their house marg which was delish and more on the sour than sweet side like I like it! I can see how their swirl with their hurricane would be a great balance of salty and sweet for people who like sweeter drinks. We will definitely be back. Wanted to try this place. It was ok but not like I would come here again. The crawfish was tasty but very soggy. Had to get rid of some of the little buggers because they fell apart when I was peeling them. I tried the alligator andouille sausage and it wasn't anything spectacular. Tasted like eckrich sausage with a touch of Cajun. The waitress messed my order up to start off and the rest was just a bad experience. I don't think we will be coming here again. Though the crawfish was tasty it wasn't enough for me to want to come here again. Soggy crawfish is not what I was looking for. I did like the flavor but not the way it was cooked. read more

We love BB's! The Tuesday special is a trail off the beaten path of everyday offerings with a pecan crusted chicken and the sauces are mouth watering! I've had the Boudain taquitos and gumbo (best gumbo in area hands down!) we've also sampled the crawfish PO boy and other sandwiches... (or PO boys rather) so far, the spices are just right (gramma was Cajun so I grew up eating amazing Cajun food) BB's is close! I can't wait to go back and try something else. We went to BB Tex Orleans today for lunch and tried the Houston Restaurant Week menu. Everything we had was delicious - the red beans and rice were good (better than most places), the peel and eat shrimp were delicious, the gumbo was a little different than most gumbo I have had but still really good. I loved the boudin flautas and would definitely order them again and the bread pudding was excellent. I would highly recommend this place if you like cajun cuisine - they mix it really well with Tex Mex for something that is different but really good. My woman and I got the $35 four course meal special they have going on for restaurant week. We started off with some crawfish etouffee; that was great. The roux was thicker which I really love. We then had some hot and spicy shrimp, fantastic! But let's get to the point here.... the Rockdale Redfish. This entree was 10/10. The was the fish was cooked was perfect, the sauce was decadent, creamy and mouth watering. It was also topped with blackened shrimp which made everything twice as tasty. This place is wonderful!! I come here often for the snow crab and they're always amazing!! Such great portions and flavor. I also want to mention the service here is outstanding! Niek waited on my sister and I today and she is extremely pleasant and her bubbly personality added to the experience. Today I ventured out and ordered shrimp and grits. Niek suggested the blackened catfish and grits which I said "yes" to and holy cow!! I'm glad I did!! It was delicious!! Theirs grits are buttery and cheesy and the catfish was perfect!! We've eaten here a number of times and it is usually 30% full of diners, at most. Makes you wonder why, bc the food is pretty dang good and reasonably priced. But I think I've come up with a few reasons why oit's never very full: 1) honestly, it could use a good scrub down, it's a little on the grungy side, and that's kinda ok for a cajun place...but still. 2) the weird liquor serving process: the bartender can only pull beers, they have to give a liquor order to someone in the back who takes their time filling the order. I've been to other BB's locations, and they do not do this. 3) spotty service, and that's being nice. The lady who waited on us at the bar on Sat. was totally out to lunch. Also, a note to Alyssa R. Brianna was training a new partner at lunchtime. They were both on top of their game. Mom had gumbo...."delicious". I had the empanadas and they were crispy and filling was good. Even finished off the cole slaw they were served on top of. All good. We ordered the wet & spicy boiled shrimp Good flavor, but a little on the firm side for my liking. Since you peel the flavor off, it's more of a lick your fingers seasoning. The butter didn't help in my opinion. I mean....it didn't NEED help. It was good solo.
