I ended up at Be More Thai by accident but I am super happy that I did! I got the drunken noodles with chicken and it was a classic take on a classic dish. My cousin got the red curry which was both extremely spicy and flavorful. We sat outside so I can't describe the interior much but the sidewalk was comfortable. Very poor customer service starting from walking into the place. They were not even at half capacity but must have been short staffed because it was ridiculous how long we had to wait to be seated. After seating, the waitress never came back to take out order....we just left. Before we walked out though, another woman at another table stopped the waitress to ask about her food. The woman, who was dining alone, said she had been waiting for 30 min for her order. The waitress went downstairs and came back up in 20 seconds with er dish. I got this delivered, and yes, it delivered. Slayed in all ways. My Penang Curry was so tasty. I loved eating all the rice soaked in it. My wrap was very refreshing and actually really big! I used two different sauces on it, as one sauce was spicy and one was sweet. So good!! The fried rice is also good, I recommend. I will visit again, for sure. A pretty decent Thai food restaurant in Baltimore! We dined in, and it was very clean with great ambiance. Before we sat down they did some covid precautions such as checking your temperature and requesting contact info. Service was attentive and super kind and polite! The food was pretty good, but I felt most of it was pretty sweet which isn't my preference. Maybe if I requested to make my dish spicier it would offset it. I think I asked for an extra lime to help it but it didn't lol. But yeah we got the pad thai and the pad ka pow and the pad thai was sweet and the pad ka pow kinda tasted like sweet+sour pork. Also got the Crying Tiger because of the name lol but it was pretty decent too, tasty but just a little too expensive for the dish itself. Great ambiance, friendly staff, delicious food! We arrived right at opening after walking down from the Science Center (0.3 mi). We were seated upstairs in a a cozy, wood-and-brick toned room with a window over the street. We took advantage of the happy hour appetizer specials. My favorite was the spring rolls - crispy, flavorful, light - while my kids went nuts for the gai yang. We tried a variety of dishes and everyone enjoyed theirs. Pictured is the pork belly and rice - but note the wrong sauce (which they corrected without our saying anything). I got the cashew chicken which was different than I'm accustomed to. I didn't love the fried chicken flavor, but my daughter thought it was great. The sauce, cashews, and rice were really good with it. The standout for me was the Tom Kha soup. So flavorful! Upon visiting Baltimore again in March of '23, we knew that we HAD to go back to BMT. I'm not very adventurous when it comes to Thai food; I like your standard (boring?) pork or beef with vegetables in brown sauce. You can't go wrong here. The food and service were superb both visits. But do you know what you simply must try? Their chicken wings. I had never tried wings in a Thai restaurant before. Wow! They are awesome. They offer two varieties: spicy and sweet. This place is legit! One of the most (and one of the only) legitimate Thai places on the east coast, and maybe even America. Case in point: when you ask for spicy here, you get spicy -- not American spicy, but Thai spicy. The servers speak Thai and are all very kind; we soon became friends with our server (whose name I apologetically cannot remember at this moment). The place is cute for a date or a dinner with a friend or family member -- we sat on the top floor and could see the street below, which was nice! This is such a cute little gem of a restaurant on light street. I dined here with my boyfriend and we had a wonderful time. We took advantage of the outdoor seating which is cute and faces all the happening things on light street. The service was excellent. The pad thai dish was my favorite. Thai iced tea was divine. the cashew chicken was good but chicken was not as crispy as what I expected/ was hoping for. 3.5 stars. Their previous portions are missed. While some of the cuisines haven't changed much, and some have, it's still generally tasty. Hopefully, this won't be my final visit. The soup had lost all taste and depth, and the rice was overdone. The meal service is also sluggish. We had to wait a long time to receive our food. Like other prices, theirs have increased as well. I noticed customers climbing the stairs to a wash room. The dinning walls are a Mexican motif featuring Frida Kahlo. Chose from a digital or paper menu that mimics the menu of the web site at bemorethai.com Since Be More Thai doesn't make their living off of a liquor license, their Thai food and hospitality is their living. But my experience with Thai food is limited. No wheat noodles here, only rice noodles. I ordered pumpkin pad & a coconut milk soup of blanched vegetables. I ordered a side of steamed vegetables to grace all the pumpkin with peanuts. The food delivery was hot, fast and graceful. I left felling thankful the miserable weather had sent me here. read more

I've ordered from here once for pickup, and everything about the experience was great! The online ordering processing was easy and fast. The food only took about 20 minutes. The staff was friendly. I had the gyoza and pork pad kee mao (drunken noodles). The gyoza was super crispy, and the sauce was nice and salty and a bit sweet. The noodles had such a pleasing level of heat.
