Because of that, I came back for multiple oil changes. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was completely different. I was charged a high price for what should have been a simple oil change and cabin/air filter replacement, and I ended up waiting about two hours for the work to be completed. After talking it through with someone more familiar with car maintenance, it became clear that I was likely overcharged for a job that should have been quicker and more reasonably priced. What made the experience worse was the interaction before my appointment. When I asked for clarification about being told I may need "air," EU laughed at me for asking. I'm neurodivergent and sometimes take things more literally, so I was just trying to confirm whether I was being charged for something that is often free. Instead of explaining, I felt mocked for asking a simple question. Because of this experience, I no longer feel comfortable or confident returning here. I'm sharing this as a caution for other customers--especially women and neurodivergent people--who may not be as familiar with car maintenance and rely on mechanics to be honest, respectful, and transparent.

When Brent heard the description his first thought was probably a computer problem, not a transmission issue. He was right! He not only diagnosed it correctly, he worked with Toyota to get an OEM computer. Toyota allocates these sparingly (to keep 3rd parties from price-gouging) and he actually had to write them to obtain one. He installed it and did a full transmission service - all at a great price I got the car back and its as good as new! Thanks to Terri for organizing and scheduling everything and Brent for his expert analysis and work.

i took my 2004 audi a4 for timing,belt and windows repair.i have called several places in orange county.and compare prices for repair.than i decided to my car to beach house imports for repair.he told me price for timing belt complete repair including thermostate.and for windows repairs.they know exactly what needs for sliding window repairs.other repair shop told me to look at window cost $125 per window.and after that give me price for repair.at beach house i got fix price right away.they repaired timing belt and window repairs on time.they forgot to repair one items so i called next day owner tim appolize for missing that repair and told me he will pickup car from my home and bring it back after repair.he called me again in few days and email me.i was in that area in the evening and took car to beach house imports.they worked late in the evening to finish work.i am very happy with work and courtiness .their work is excellent.dealer price is almost 1.75 times higher.other repair shop works on different car.but beach house imports works only audi and volks wagon only..i will go again for any work for my audi. read more

These guys are the best. All very tight knit and originally wen to them for my APR Stage 1 mod. Ran perfect and I made a mistake by switching tuners (a deal I couldn't pass up with another tuner giving me the Bosch TT225's and free upgrade to the APR Stage 1+. Anyways, after going to APR Stage1+ from the other tuner I had my MIL Check Engine light come on in my Audi A4 B6. This put my car into limp mode and all the moey I dropped to get the power ($1,000.00) seemed worthless and I was SO bummed. Anyways, Joe from Beach House Imports called to check how my car was running and I explained the issue. Even after going to another tuner after using them he took time out of his day to let me stop by (same day) and scan and try to find the problem. He IMMEDIATELY noticed a missing vaccum hise between him and the owner Tim, plugged it in and fixed my car for free. These guys are honest, legit, and very knowledgable and kind. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to any AUDI/VW owners. Going back next week to work with them on my car and couldn't be more excited :) Best service out there! -Chad read more

I've been coming to Tim for almost 20 years. When it really was a Beach House! I've always had excellent service at the lowest prices around. To hear about these others and their negative experience frankly ticks me off. Not everyone is a miracle worker, but Tim has saved my bacon countless times and many of those times didn't even charge me as it was something simple and he fixed it in leass than 10 minutes. I've referred my network of friends and family to him for years and not one complaint. They're usually ecstatic and call to tell me how nice he was, how fair he is and how they're happy to have a new mechanic they can trust! To all you haters out there, Don't blame Tim for all your problems... You own an Audi, they're known to be the biggest pieces of shit out there! Go buy a better car, take care of it better and go hate the next guy when they screw you over because you beat up your ride. at the end of the day I'm sure you'll end up somewhere else complaining again, that's just the way you are. read more

I recently purchased a 2006, Audi A8 with 53k miles. Though this is my third Audi, it's the first I've owned (the other two were leased). My initial concern in buying an Audi was the mechanical cost to operate longer-term. I found the reviews on this site useful so I took in my car for the 55k major service. The dealer quoted a price 30% higher than Beach House for the exact same service. They also vacuumed out the engine and did more than what the dealer would have done. The quality of the workmanship was excellent and the people very service oriented. I'm most satisfied with the price. As a side note, the dealer wanted to charge me $300 to flush the transmission fluid. While I was at Beach House, they showed me the fluid was actually fine and doesn't need it now. I'm fairly mechanically inclined and can state that my experience here was very positive. I plan to return for future services. read more

I am not a "yelping" kind of guy, but this was such an unusual occurrence It called for a posting. I have a 2004 Passat wagon TDI. that I have taken to Beach house for the past 8 years except the last time. While driving it just lost power and out of (so i thought) convenience I had it towed to a national chain located 2 blocks from my home. After they wrongly diagnosed that i needed a NEW OR REBUILT ENGINE as the best solution - scaring the living crap out of me! Then they were having trouble even locating the right engine at all. I even sought out an offer for the car as scrap. After all that and no solution in sight I had it towed to Tim, and Ty @ beach house. They found the real issue and had my car running in a couple days. Thank you Tim, Ty and the Beach House techs! a nightmare quelled. Thanks again! read more

As soon as my no cost maintenance was up I decided to look for a shop specializing in Audis. Boy am I happy I found Beach House Imports! Not only is Tim easy to deal with, he's honest and straightforward. I've gone from having my coolant pipe replaced to a complete replacement of my rack and pinion/steering assembly. Tim and Ty have done an excellent job time and time again. Unlike the dealers wherein you have to setup a maintenance appointment, they have accommodated me even on a last minute notice. These guys are awesome! The few times I've brought my Audi in for minor maintenances, the service has been nothing but first class. Both the owner and mechanics are all super nice and knowledgeable! I am skeptical about who I allow to work on my automobile, but I trust the Beach House to deliver a high quality and fast service at more than reasonable prices! These German vehicles' parts can get extremely expensive. Overall, I have had a great experience and would definitely recommend the Beach House to anyone who appreciates great service, by good people, that drive the automobiles they work on! When I first started bringing my 2004 Audi A4 into Tim and the guys were my first few years in college. They understood my limited financial situation and helped me plan repairs with that in mind. They have always been well below the lowest quotes I have found from other local places and recently replaced my clutch/flywheel for about half of what other places told me it would cost. Despite the low cost when I got my car back it ran like new, my car has never been so responsive! These guys went out of their way to help me out and did great work for a price that I was blown away by. If you have a V W or Audi and live anywhere near these guys you should definitely check them out. Tim, Ty, and Taylor are all great. They have high standards and they aim to keep them high. We are a three Audi family, A4, A6 and Allroad. After the manufactures warrants expired, Beach House has taken care of all routine and repair needs for all our cars. This includes oil changes/leaks, timing belts, suspension struts, water pumps, etc. Each visit, the diagnosis was accurate and work completed on time and within the estimated cost (which was well below dealer's estimates). The owner, Tim, is very conscienious about communicating when unforseen issues arise. I have always drven away felling I recieved very fair treatment and am a customer for life. read more

I love this place, I've brought my Audi here a few times. They've done some oil changes, headlight work, break work and a few other things... I feel like they are fair on price and everything always turns out good. The one thing i dislike is sometimes you can be waiting for a while. Sometimes they let me make an appt. and sometimes they don't. Not sure why? They are expanding so that's good because it got a little crowded in the small place before. Tim has been working on my Audi for the past 3 years! He is amazing and to know I can call and either get in the same day or the next morning is fabulous. Taylor and Ty are both extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgable. His shop is CLEAN and if you have to stay on the premises until the work is done, his office space has plenty of room and the coffee isn't bad! These are the guys you want working on your Audi, they drive them and own them. Great friendly service and fair prices. I spoke Audi with Ty for a while before deciding to go there, he explained what they'll do on the first visit and answered all my questions. I worked in the auto industry for 10 years at award winning shops. I've dealt with at least 100 different vendors. The service Tim and Ty provide is by far the best I've seen. The water pump went out on my Audi. The repair was done in no time. Tim got me a video of the condition of the car (I bought it used) and Ty even showed me the old part and what was wrong with it.
