We found this delicious place heading out of Jacksonville. A true jewel in Jacksonville beach. This place has a relaxed atmosphere and delicious food. No doubt, this is a local favorite! Prices are affordable. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The bennies were delicious and on point and the traditional breakfast was also delicious. We felt welcomed. Its a delight to support a local business!

Great little diner by the beach. Stopped here with a friend after a morning run for coffee and breakfast. The service was over the top great. Super, super friendly and quick! We both got the breakfast combo, and our waitress let me substitute grits for the meat since I don't eat sausage or bacon. Pancakes were fluffy, scrambled eggs were just ok, but the homefries were the star of the show. Extra crispy. You really can't beat the price. Both of our combos came with coffee and I think only cost $11 each. I would definitely go back!

"Coffee is so good we even drink it ourselves on occasion" was the epithet on the wall welcoming us to Beach Hut Cafe. It was actually a second runner up choice from our first choice. It was very welcoming as we mosed up to the front counter and took our seats. All seats had a nook, beach bench vibes. There was no hostess so customers picked their own. It very busy place. Unfortunately the waitress touched the bread with thier hands. Everything was right in front of us. We did not miss a thing. Elizabeth, our waitress gave us time to order. Wifey had the breakfast special not picture. Two eggs, french toast or eggs, potatoes, grits and toast. It was a nice way to start our Saturday morning:)

Beach Hut is a breakfast/lunch only restaurant with daily specials that is great and consistent. It was a busy Friday morning, only took a few minutes to get a table. Atmosphere is chill and laid back with friendly staff that are efficient. The home cooked food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! The fruit bowl is one of the best! You can order with or without coconut. Eggs over medium, grits, English muffin with butter were good. Can't wait to return and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere local to eat in Jacksonville Beach.

Autumn was also our server and very attentive and nice to see a positive attitude at breakfast. Pricing was very reasonable and even offered a Military/Responders discount. Full restaurant on a Labor Day Sunday about 0945ish and no waiting. First off the coffee was very weak, it must be the brand or they running thru more than once! Reasonable to a slightly lengthy wait time for the food, but it was a full house. The Chili & Cheese Omelette was a big disappointment with no WOW factor whatsoever as the home fries also. The biscuit just crumbled and looked more like a dinner roll, fresh out of the microwave. The decode was the typical beach motif and very clean restaurant and restrooms.

We checked out Beach Hut Cafe for breakfast after seeing its high reviews. Unfortunately, my experience didn't quite match up. Upon walking in, we stood around unsure of what to do before deciding to seat ourselves. Be prepared to wait for your food here; it seems the kitchen might be either small or understaffed. The coffee was very weak during our visit, and the sweet tea lacked color and flavor, almost as if it wasn't steeped properly or was watered down like the coffee. I ordered the country ham with red eye gravy, grits, two eggs, and an English muffin. We waited quite a while for our food. When it arrived, the ham looked like it came from a lunch meat package--very thin with some translucent "gravy." The grits and eggs were good, but the ham was disappointing compared to other places where I've had much larger slices. My friends' food looked better. One had a chili cheese omelette, and the other had steak and eggs. We also shared an order of corned beef hash, which was excellent. The friend with the steak and eggs seemed to get the best breakfast. The place is clean and has a cozy, beachy home vibe. It seems to be a hit with the locals, especially those from the beach area, but it didn't quite live up to the hype for us.

We come here when we have family in town and want to eat but not cook. The food is always so delicious here, staff are friendly. Plenary of seating inside.

A local staple! That being said, it does get pretty busy. So, that says a LOT. The food is good, no frills. Ask for what you want, and they can usually make it. I went with the steak and eggs. Mmmmm. Oh! And spicy curly fries with ranch to dip? Yes, please! Service is pretty attentive, but bear with them, short on staff (because no one wants to work anymore), but the ones that do - are patient and amazing! Ask for Lisa, service with a smile, and she makes you feel right at home. If you're looking for fancy, this is not it. Picnic table seating, college sports stickers supporting teams, friendly smiles, relaxed atmosphere ... this is beach life. No judgments. Just people enjoying food and each others company. This morning, we were having a meeting over breakfast. It did get pretty loud in there because it was busy. But, I love how there's a mix of patrons - families with kids, groups of teenage friends, business owners, elderly couples, or even dining alone. It's a must visit in Jax Beach if you want to know where the locals eat. Hehe. Found them all! There was even a line forming when we were leaving! Thanks for your consistency, Beach Hut Cafe!

Finally got back around to coming in for a meal- my last experience was a to-go order and this time John and I dined in and it was great. They have all the standard breakfast plates and John is of firm opinion that breakfast should be simple. No fru-fru ingredient experiments. lol~ so this was perfect. The picnic table style seating, with beach art everywhere- including a fantastic mural on the Northern wall. I ordered the corned beef hash breakfast and John went with country fried steak and eggs- with his gravy on the side. He prefers to dip and not be smothered. I am the gravy addict in the house. Our server was fantastic- I wish I could remember her name- she gave us to it right away. Food came out hot- eggs were cooked fluffy scrambled- just the way we like them. My hash was crazy fried! It was flat- lol, but all the crispy outside was so good! I personally didn't care for the homefries- I scraped them onto John's plate. And the biscuit- I said to John- this is the most bready biscuit ever. I know, makes no sense. The texture was off- it looked like a biscuit, smelled like a biscuit, tasted like a biscuit- but it was more light almost cake-like consistency. It threw me off- so I drowned it in some of Johns gravy and ate it with my eggs. It still tasted good! I could easily add this to my rotating breakfast spots now. It's better than some of the other ones John likes more than me! Next time- hashbrowns instead of homefries! That should make me happy.

You should come here, just not on the weekends. The wait is WAY too long on the weekends. But during the week, you'll have yourself a wonderful diner experience. The interior is super cute and beachy and you can't go wrong with your order. What you order is what you'll get (in a good way).

Dirty, disgusting, and horrific service. Will never be back and do not recommend. I would appreciate if a manager can message me privately.

Sooooo cutie patootie…read more I'll be adding this to my rotation before heading to Jax beach. A quick scone, coffee, and bagel on the beach is elite. The environment is causal and laid back beach theme. I love the little chairs outside the restaurant. It's a mom and pop shop with everything home made. A wonderful local gem.

I can't say enough good things about Breezy Coffee Shop Wine Bar -- it's so much more than a coffee…read moreshop. Last week of April 2026, my wife Judy and I were in Jacksonville/Atlantic Beach for a conference. While I was in session, she returned to our rental condo and got locked out due to a malfunctioning electronic door lock. She couldn't reach me (ringer off), so she walked down the street to Breezy. Owner Nancy Breezy immediately welcomed her with open arms. She lent Judy her personal phone so she could contact the condo owners to get the door fixed. Once that was handled, Nancy introduced Judy to the regulars, making her feel completely at home. Judy ordered a delicious latte and some gluten-free baked goods -- both were outstanding. On a deeper note, Judy has been through an incredibly tough couple of years with painful losses that had shaken her faith in human kindness. Nancy single-handedly restored that faith. Breezy feels like a quaint, neighborly oasis of love, fueled by Nancy's genuine goodness. Everything served here seems infused with what we now call "Vitamin L" -- pure love and warmth. Nancy didn't just help with a locked door -- she rescued my wife's spirit that day. If you're in Jacksonville Beach, make time for Breezy. You'll leave with great coffee, amazing treats, and an even bigger smile. Thank you, Nancy -- you are a gem!
