THIS IS MY FAVORITE PLACE IN PISMO! I travel to pismo beach often and every time im in the area i make a stop here. Everything on the menu is delicious and hits the spot. The vibe can be busy at times since there can sometimes be a crowd here but don't let that stop you. Workers are always efficient, polite, and excellent to interact with. The location is great too just short walk from the pier. Don't forget to order some biscuits to go! read more

First service was outstanding, engaging, friendly. Our food was delicious- toes in the sand and sunrise tacos, vegetarian. The crumbled bacon on the toes in the sand should be on everything! Being able to sit outside, food was timely, and they came to our table to offer boxes and see if we needed anything additional. Great spot! And mimosas will be here soon! read more

Loved this cute breakfast place! The staff is very friendly, and the service was excellent. Although I didn't have biscuits, the Gnarly Potatoes were so yummy on my first visit. I went back the next day and had The Pablo (two chorizo and potato tacos) - super tasty! I will recommend this place to my friends when we visit the coast this summer! read more

Had the gnarly sandwich and the biscuits were delicious, the andouille was tasty, the sausage was great and the egg was fried just right, but I didn't care for the gravy; that's just one small problem with an overall great sandwich though. Went around 9am.. my fiancée and I ordered the Pismo Pier and had them split it so we could share... The food was made quickly... hooray! However there is only outdoor seating, approximately 8 tables, and it was full. Be prepared to wait for an open table, or walk back to your hotel or enjoy it on the beach... We ended up walking back to our hotel to enjoy the food. And boy, was it delicious! The gravy was nice, and the biscuit was not dense, it was fluffy and yummy! Do not support Beachin' Biscuits in Pismo Beach if you or someone you love relies on a service animal. I was denied entry with my psychiatric service dog, even after calmly explaining that psychiatric service animals are fully recognized under the ADA and that my dog is task-trained for my disability. I even showed them ADA.gov information on my phone. Despite this, staff told me they "do not recognize that as a disability," claimed they only accept "certain" disabilities, and said they had the right to deny entry. This is factually incorrect and a violation of federal law. Businesses are not allowed to decide which disabilities are valid, nor can they deny a legitimate service animal based on personal beliefs or misinformation. Because of this discriminatory treatment, I will be filing formal complaints with the U.S. Department of Justice and Disability Rights California. If you are disabled, have a service dog (especially a psychiatric service animal), or care about accessibility and civil rights, I strongly recommend going elsewhere. read more

Cute small spot with AMAZING BISCUITS AND GRAVY! It's super easy to find and parking is in the middle of the street. There is a reason why this place has so many good reviews!! My hubby and I shared the PISMO PIER and added a linguica Portuguese sausage. ITS HUGE and FILLING! The gravy was creamy, perfect and had plenty of sausage crumbles in it. The biscuits melted in my mouth. The scramble eggs were fluffy and tasted so good with the gooey melted cheese on top. The sausage was tasty and juicy. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I ordered a $8 mimosa and was a little sad that it came in a plastic cup half filled. Tip- try to get a table before you order so you don't have to stand around like a hawk and wait for someone to leave when you get your food. There's not a lot of tables to sit at, but I've seen other people say they took their food to the beach, which is what we would have done if someone didn't leave but luckily we were able to snag one. This will definitely be one of our go-to spots whenever we're in the area! read more

Friendly staff and cool outside seating area. The sausage gravy was good, not too heavy. The biscuits (two of them!) were moist, but in future, I would ask for the gravy on the side to ascertain the exterior texture (as well as enjoy with some jam). The eggs were fluffy and quite tasty. Delicious!!! Great biscuits and my husband loved the Pablo chorizo tacos! Super good. They cook their scrambled eggs really well here - very yummy. I forgot to take many photos but this is a great spot. Food came out quickly for our group of six. The seating is outdoor only and limited so if you want to sit here and eat go early (before 8:30 on a weekday there was no wait for us) or plan to wait a bit for a table. The outdoor seating has grab and go water cups and all the utensils and things you would need also. Great spot! read more

Wonderful breakfast with a Mexican flare or yummy biscuits and sausage gravy. Truly the best in Pismo for breakfast. Order and they give you a number and you sit to be served. Dogs welcome outside on the patio. In the week we stayed in Pismo we went there 4 times! Great food, service and really busy on weekends. read more

If you want some biscuits absolutely smothered with a yummy sausage gravy, this is the absolute best place for that. I've been here plenty of times and it's always a great experience. They do NOT skimp on portions here. I usually always get a sausage patty and shredded cheese added but this time I added a linguica link as well. The pictures don't do it justice, it is simply delicious and filling. This is a small storefront where you order inside and then find seating on the patio, so don't expect a traditional sit down breakfast spot. Service is friendly, fast, and you can even order online (recommend, it gets busy). I've seen multiple things ordered from here and it all looks amazing. Pirate's Cove, Toes in the Sand, Boardwalk Bites, Tsunami Burrito, and even the Sweet Cheeks are all go-to options. When I'm in the Pismo area I have to stop here at least once for my B&G fix. read more

So we saw that this place was rated #1 on Yelp for breakfast and was a 10 minute walk from our hotel. What a great find! Best biscuits and gravy I've had in a long time along with perfect scrambled eggs! Ysa enjoyed her ham and cheese panini. The café Americano was delicious too! We got to stop here before our trip back from Pismo Beach. The biscuits and gravy breakfast did not disappoint. I got the Toes in the Sand and it was loaded with ample helping of thick sausage gravy and hearty sprinkles of bacon. The biscuit was large and fluffy. The Sunrise Tacos were also amazing. Seating is on the outside as the restaurant is pretty much self order and they give you the food. Service was quick. But reviews indicate that it could get quite busy. I could only finish half of that meal. One of a few breakfast places I know that opens at 6 AM. read more

We were in Pismo Beach for a few days and stumbled upon this place for breakfast. I got a biscuit sandwich with bacon, eggs and cheese. It was excellent! The bacon is thick cut and flavorful. The star of the show is definitely the biscuit, so flaky and buttery. My husband got the biscuits and gravy topped with eggs. Also excellent. Cashier was friendly and food came out quick. read more

If you're about the biscuit, this is a must. I was visiting from out of town. I found this place on Yelp. I love a good biscuits and gravy so I definitely had to give it a try. I ordered online which made it super convenient. The biscuit was huge, the gravy was good but I did have to add salt and pepper. Then we got another classic biscuit accompanied by strawberry jam that was delicious. The front of the store is an open space with umbrellas and chairs so you can sit out and eat. Prices are good and portions are not ridiculously large. Nice patio sitting with heat lamps. Looks like real cheese on the sandwich. Well it is hard to go wrong with biscuits n gravy. I was after a Canadian bacon stuffed biscuit slathered with gravy. Guess president Trump burnt all our avenues to Canadian bacon, . I opted for the ham steak thicker and less flavor but did the job. The biscuits are decent above average for certain. The gravy packed full of sausage no complaints. The selection of hot sauces leaves much to be desired, the only thing I could find available was some Cholula, weak. A place like this should have Tabasco readily available. The ambiance is modern and nice. A vintage feel is presented with antique signs and repurposed items. The tables are nice, I have respect for a restaurant with no wobbly tables. The view of Downtown Pismo is worth the nominal cost for parking unless you score one of the free ones in front of the establishment. Overall not bad, good food made fresh to order. I saw that this place had so many reviews and I knew I just had to try it out. I am a huge fan of carbs, biscuits are one of my favorites, especially when they're hot and fluffy (now that's a piece of heaven in my mouth). I came here early (around 8 am) and parking was plentiful, a really small line and the food came out pretty fast. Pros: I ordered the tsunami burrito, boardwalk bites, and low tide. I got here early so I didn't have any issues with parking or waiting for food. Staff were friendly and helpful, they answered any questions I had. The burrito was great, lots of flavor and pretty dense. The low tide was heavy, I was only able to eat 1/3 of it. There's limited seating and it gets busy as the day goes on. They are dog friendly, I brought my lab and everyone was welcoming. It's a pretty relaxed and casual restaurant. Cons: come early and you won't have issues with waiting or parking! read more

Beachin Biscuits in Pismo Beach was founded in 2018, born from the owner's passion for cooking for others and a desire to share homemade, nostalgic dishes. The restaurant's concept centers on high-quality, consistent comfort food, rooted in the recipes the owner grew up with. Building on this foundation, the business expanded with a second location, Butter + Milk Biscuit Bar, in Visalia, California. They also introduced a food truck to serve the Central Coast and are preparing to open a new location in Atascadero. Beachin Biscuits has thrived thanks to strong community support and remains committed to serving its patrons for years to come.

The service was excellent, the cashier was friendly and patient with us ordering (since it was my first time here). We decided to sit in the patio area since it was nice day, even though there was a little bit of construction noise next door, it didn't take away from hearing the great music selection. Moments later a server brought out the food, everything smelled and looked delicious. He ordered fish N' chips w/upgraded garlic fries, (we love garlic fries!) some of the best garlic fries we've had, every bite was garlicky & dipped in ranch...mmmmm perfect combo. The fish was tender but crispy bites from the batter. I ordered the Pismo wrap (could be shared), I was not expecting it to be so packed with all the fillings. It was stuffed with sliced tri-tip, curly fries, avocado, pepper jack cheese, and bbq sauce. Every bite was so satisfying, flavorful and had a little bit of everything. Some saltiness from the fries to sweetness from the bbq sauce, well balanced (I did add some cholula sauce because I enjoy some spiciness). Definitely added as a stop when doing a day trip to Pismo. I'll be recommending friends/family to make a stop at Hoagies if they're ever in the area and they're looking for a chomp because a bite isn't enough. So after all the shopping/walking, pick up some Hoagies and head to the beach (which is walking distance), because great food deserves a great view!

But it did come with lettuce, not cabbage (?). Hmm. The fish was okay, but not fried to enough of a crisp, so it was not crunchy. It was also a relatively small amount of cod in the the burrito wrap. I say burrito wrap as the tortilla was pretty thick and barely toasted. I did see other patrons sitting at the tables with much toastier-looking wraps, and it looked like the steak wrap came in a wheat tortilla. So is there more than one kind of tortilla? The tartar sauce was middle of the road and there was not enough of it in the wrap for my tastes - I like sauce. But I could not get more for the side, as the line was out the door by the time I discovered I could use more tartar sauce! So while it was fine, and the fish seemed fresh, I was somewhat disappointed, and did not munch this wrap with the zeal that I do the one from the other locale in town where I typically buy the killer cod wrap. The curly fries were good and well salted. Lots of people sitting outside; tables could've been cleaned better. Maybe staff should come out and wipe them down periodically.

Jaxon was our Order/Cashier associate on this occasion. He was personable in service and knowledgeable with regard to menu offerings. The restaurant wasn't as busy as I expected at 7PM but it took "a bit" to get the order out. Nevertheless..it was "on the money accurate" (exactly what we ordered/wanted) and that in my opinion...is worth waiting for. Our order : 2X Black and Blue Salads (4/5...yummy) and a Crispy Chicken Combo with Tater Tots (5/5...delicious). I had a "Combo Coupon" ($10 Combo instead of regular price), but still the bill was basically $43 dollars. Somewhat of a "value factor" because with a salad each, we were able to share the Crispy Chicken and were completely satisfied with our meal. Dallas (Owner) was already gone for the day, so we missed saying "hi". In this Yelper's opinion...on this "take-out" occasion because the food is still really "bussin", Brooks Burgers in Pismo Beach truly earned this 4 Star review.

I had to check out the deli case to find my desert, looking real pretty was a genuine carrot cake. Three thinish layers with butter cream frosting which was not overpowering sweet. $10 okay that makes the cake worth about $100, meaning it was a thin slice. Both were really just enough, portion control is a new behavior for me... I'll be back for some pizza, maybe bring a date too. As I noticed a table clearing, I walked up to check with the hostess to ensure we would be getting that table. The other couple took that as their cue to insists that they get the table that was being cleared. Instead of seating us, the hostess gave the excuse that there was no reservations and no naming for tables, and instead gave the now open table to the extremely pushy couple demanding a table they were 2nd in line for. Had we not been adamantly instructed to wait and check in again in a couple minutes coupled with the fact that we were literally sitting at a table within view AND normal talking distance for her to say "we are ready", she caved in to the rude couple's persistence in being given that table. Catering to customers like that surely isn't the best choice and had others, like us, walk away. We did speak with the supervisor on shift. He did his best to make things right, but at this point the entire situation left us little appetite to dine here.

The staff made us feel right at home, which is why our "one drink" turned into a four-hour stay. It's cozy, upscale but down-to-earth, and easily one of my new favorite spots in Pismo.
