Solid place for breakfast in this little cafe. The portions are way big at a reasonable price with quality food and super friendly staff. I had the corned beef hash Benedict and the has was nice and crispy and the eggs were poached properly which is difficult to do in my book. The girlfriend had the avocado skillet which she said was yummy but again so big that there was plenty to box up and take home. If in the area give this place a try. My new favorite place. It's a diner extraordinaire! Best breakfast I've had and very delighted to see that it's not a "beach side price gouging" philosophy place. Real food. Really GREAT food. Very reasonably priced. Get there early, as there will be a wait on weekend mornings. But trust me. It's soooo worth the wait. I was very happy with the food and friendly service at this small cafe. My family and I liked it so much we went two days in a row. The coffee was hot and rich with flavor. You can not go wrong with anything on the menu as everything is fresh and very very reasonably priced. I honestly can not think of one thing wrong with this place. Make sure you get there early! I don't even want to write this review because the place is too busy as it is. Pretty small place but, if there is a line, it goes fairly quickly. Breakfast is amazing. Skillets are impressive and the stuffed French toast really different and great.. Still...it's the sandwiches that keep me coming back. They "roll" their lunch meat (true deli style) and their home made bread is incredible. It's hard for me to order anything but the Luigi (roast beef rolled with coleslaw, provolone, 1,000 Island and horse radish on rye), but the Americano and Ruben/Rachel are all amazing. I actually didn't like the Italian, so there's that. Also, every sandwich comes with a side (not additional $$) and you can pick what you want. Possibly the best onion rings ever. I highly recommend. We found this place on YELP, and could not have been more pleased. The server was friendly, and gave her us her honest opinion of the specials. We each went in a different direction, I went with the today's special of catfish, eggs & grits with home made rye toast. Andrea ordered a scramble with avocado, and they let her omit the bacon (I can't understand why...NO bacon???) with no issues. The catfish coating was cornmeal, dry and crispy, just perfectly cooked and the grits were creams and made my mouth happy, as for the rye toast, I am recalling more dense rye bread as the kind I would rather have, this was the Florida version of sourdough, I would order it again. We were there for a fast weekend, and would recommend it to anyone. Beware the place is the size of a postage stamp, and the waiting out in a back hallway is like a sauna, maybe they could put a pitcher of ice water and cups? read more

Our server was very nice and friendly. My husband ordered country fried steak skillet and I ordered avocado and spinach skillet. Both were great! Mine was a bit cold (I assumed it was waiting in the window for a minute). The portions are huge! I couldn't finish most if mine... My FAVORITE breakfast/lunch place on the beachside!!! The quality of ingredients is really impressive....like the "from scratch" potato salad that has paprika in it and gives the salad a nice unusual flavor and they DON'T load it with mayonaise to make it too wet as most places do. Fresh cut fruit makes their "in season" fruit salad really yummy too!!! The service is excellent even if there is the usual wait out the door on the weekends in particular....it is worth it!!! Before we even get to the food, just know that finding parking here is a nightmare - we ended up having to pay for metered parking in the adjacent lot. Then we waited for a good 30 minutes before being seated. I tried the "country" eggs benedict. While the english muffin, bacon, sausage, ham and hollandaise sauce were all very good, the key component, the EGGS, were completely overcooked! When you cut into an eggs benedict, the yolk is suppose to still be liquid enough to flow out. Well, their eggs where cooked all the way through. I thought they may have just overcooked mine on accident, but when I glanced at the lady seated less than 2 feet away from me, her eggs benedict were the same way - yolk completely cooked through. What a disappointment, on an an otherwise good item. Also tried the blueberry and cream cheese stuffed french toast. It looked amazing on the pictures, and while it wasn't bad per se, I found it to be quite heavy in texture and not very flavorful in person. So, okay food coupled with terrible parking/long wait times, I have to say, this won't be my top brunch option for sure. read more

I don't know what happened to this place. I used to be my favorite breakfast spot. The menu is good but I think the new owners just don't know how to be friendly, or even smile. Don't know if they have teeth because we haven't seen them yet! The servers were much better before the new owners took over. Only one friendly one left, anya (sp?) from the original staff. Miss Brandy, Melissa and Suzette. I wonder how can you go to a place every Sunday for years and they act like it is your first visit. They did recently make some improvement to the inside but not the help. At one time there was a line out the back door, haven't seen anyone wait for a table in a long time. My wife and I stopped in on our way up the coast for lunch after seeing Yelp reviews. Staff were friendly and quickly brought us drinks and took our order. Coleen took care of us and she was very friendly and helpful throughout our lunch. We came about 15 minutes before close (they're open 7am-2pm as they only serve breakfast and lunch) and I appreciated that they had no problem with our late arrival. We ordered Caesar salads, an Italiano, and a Reuben. The Reuben came on their homemade Rye bread. Both were fantastic! The bread was warm and toasty on both with generous portions of meat. The Caesar salads were pretty standard, but they had a good lettuce to dressing ratio, which earns major points in my book! Overall a great experience and I would definitely recommend this little cafe to anyone looking for lunch in the area! read more

I LOVE little local owned places like this. A total diamond in the rough. Parking is behind the building. Yelp reviews of the Avocado Eggs Benedict is what drew me in. I thought I would have to wait awhile, nope! Seated with a couple minutes. Service from the moment I sat down until the moment I left was perfect! I'm terrible at remembering names (sorry!), but the young blonde girl w/side braids was fantastic! So friendly and attentive. I ordered the avocado eggs Benedict w/roasted potatoes and plain coffee. As slammed as they were, my order arrived promptly, beautifully plated, and I couldn't wait to dive in. Take that first bite slowly getting a little bit of everything on your fork. Omg, this was by far THE best eggs Benedict I've ever had in my 41 yrs. that's saying something! The bacon was perfectly crisp, the English muffins perfectly lightly toasted w/a beautiful crisp, fresh baby spinach & their hollandaise sauce was a delicious flavor and consistency. All the flavors together made for a delicious eggs benedict, and with a large portion I am leaving miserably stuffed (which I never do!) it was THAT good! Lol.
